• Heather (5/5): Not worth the price - The room and bathroom were clean. There was AC, there was wifi. The towels were fluffy. The reception spoke English and check in was fast. This is not worth the price. This is supposed to be a 2 star hotel and was not even up to that limited standard, I guess its 2 stars onlybecause it does have AC, wifi and a balcony. I ended up leaving and paid just a little bit more for a 4 star hotel on the beach. The handrail to the second floor rooms was covered in peeling shaggy old electrical tape that had straps of tape hanging off it and was sticky where the tape peeled off. Under the ac unit in the room there were rusty orange drips and orange discoloration on the wall. The curtains to the balcony looked like a battle had been fought with them. These 3 things aren't hard to fix, but no one seems to care that it makes the place creepy and very unappealing. Looked like a zero star hotel.
• Wren (8/5): Very good - Staff was wonderful made the stay 👍. Owner threw big party at night.it was way to loud 📢 for people who pay to sleep 😞. Very disappointed he was so thoughtless!!!. Loud band playing all nite.. could not sleep. Owner was so thoughtless!!!! Staff kept apologizing for his mistake. Heard manager is leaving. She was awesome and will be better off elsewhere. We won't be back. To bad there's no zoneing to forbid all the buses parking there!
• Dennis (8/5): Pleasant stay near Santa Cruz beach. - A very quiet location at the end of a street. A balcony was a nice touch. The hotel has outdoor seating with it's restaurant and serves delicious breakfasts. There is only a 400 meter walk to the beach. Warm water in the shower. There was an odor in the bathroom. A steep stairs to the 2nd and 3rd floor.

The your buses park the vehicle on the main road and one day there were 5. To loud to sit on the balcony. The price per night was good but I think I would prefer to pay more for a more relaxing stay.

Debido a la construcción en la propiedad no se puede dormir hasta tarde y eso es una molestia pero es lo unico . Me volveria a hospedar mis proximas vacaciones ahi mismo !!
• Vivienne (8/5): Very good - This property has a great location and the staff are exceptional. The bedrooms are basic which o was fully expecting for the price, but importantly they have ceiling fans and air conditioning which was much appreciated as it can be very humid on this coast. The restaurant next door is excellent for breakfast/brunch and packed out at weekends.

The restaurant below was one of the best breakfast places in town. The shower didn’t have any hot water. There was also no shower curtain so the entire bathroom got wet. The birds were lovely outside but prepare yourself for early morning wake ups!

The hotel is VERY noisy, especially when people show up and are chatting in the common areas. The employees are extremely friendly, the room clean but not well furnished, the A/C is cold and functional, and the attached brunch restaurant below (Niszul) was a highlight of our trip. Overall, you get what you pay for here.

• Jennnnng (9/5): Super-nice staff and nice simple accommodation with AC, close to all the amenities of Santa Cruz - Arrived hot and sweaty and was offered a warm welcome and a glass of cold water by the restaurant staff. Monica, the hotel manager, was absolutely delightful and welcoming. She speaks good English, but allowed me to practice my not-so-good Spanish. Room was great - very comfortable. Location was quiet but close to Sta Cruz beach and amenities. We had a delicious breakfast there one morning. No complaints.

• Sven (8/5): Very good - The personal is very friendly. The room was clean and equipped with air-conditioning. It is only 5 minutes walking distance from the beach. They are expanding on top, which meant construction noises from 8 a.m. onwards.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great little gem - We found this gem by walking to the beach and taking a random side street. Loved the building and the colours… As we walked by, we asked about the mezcal on display and the manager came out. We chatted with her (Monica) and became instant friends. She was so accommodating and friendly we booked a room few days later. The rooms are basic, but very clean and comfortable. There was some work being done in the building across the street, and the staff actually approached us, apologizing for the noise. They offered to move us to a different room, which was nicer and away from the construction. They have everything you need, like air conditioning (which we didn’t use), daily housekeeping, clean towels, television, and use of a fridge. They are also only a two minute walk to the beach. Exceptional service by Monica, Paula and Esther!

We will be coming back here, mostly because of her. Prices were reasonable and the room was a solid size. Water pressure was so-so, but that's most places in this part of the world. Conveniently located to Playa Santa Cruz and not far from La Crucecita.

Our room was a basic double and the tv was not working but the hotel is quiet and within easy walking distance to the beach and a variety of restaurants. There is a mezcalària on site. There was no problem storing our baggage and shower facilities were made available to accommodate our later check out time.

• talia (10/5): Cómodo, economico, limpio, cercano a la playa. - La estancia es muy cómoda, todos los que trabajan ahi te hacen sentir en casa, siempre recibes un buenos días y siempre estan atentos a que no te falte nada. Está a menos de 5 minutos caminando de la playa. Preparan muy ricos alimentos. Un hotel bastante limpio, silencioso y acogedor, ideal para parejas. Tiene el plus de tener mezcales y cremas de mezcal en su restaurante, a muy buenos precios y muy ricos, te dan pruebas de cortesia. No cuenta con cable, y el wifi no es el mejor, pero eso es lo de menos si tu idea es pasar vacaciones relajadas y si unicamente lo usas para pasar la noche. Felicitaciones a este lugar.

• David (8/5): Mezcaleria/Hotel - The people at the Yuu-Lee were very nice, but I did not spend a lot of time at the room, so I only saw them in passing. When I arrived, the girl bought me into the first floor restaurant/store and gave me a welcome shot of Mezcal (they sell Mezcal as well). I was on the second floor, room had a small balcony over the side entrance; no views from the rooms. I did not like that there were no locks on the sliding doors to the balcony and no stick provided to act as a door jam to keep anyone from entering if they climbed up onto the balcony. The bathroom/shower has hot water. Towels, soap and TP are provided. There is a ceiling fan and a Wall A/C unit, but you need to ask for the remote control. There is no screen, so when you open the sliding door, bugs come in. I would have preferred to open the window and let in fresh air, but to avoid the bugs, instead I ran the A/C and ceiling fan. Toilet seat was not comfortable; it was a soft cushion seat that made it difficult to maneuver easily. I asked for bottled water and was given a tiny 100ml bottle. The location is OK. It is a couple blocks off the main road There is a woman who sells empanadas on the corner near the Holiday Inn for 15 pesos each after 18:00. Definitely try these; very tasty!. Also visited a new cafe called Iacoco - short walk from the hotel, A decaf coffee (or chai lattte) and a breakfast burrito will cost approx 110 pesos. I don't know if the hotel serves food, but they serve Mezcal.
• Kerry (10/5): Hidden gem - This is a clean, quiet, affordable hotel kind of on the edge of town. Friendly staff, they only speak Spanish but were very accommodating... they let us check out late. Will stay here again!
• Verified traveler (8/5): overnighter - we took an overnight trip on the bus from puerto escondido. this is a really cute boutique hotel with just a handful of rooms. we had a small balcony. our room was on the small side. a/c is very good. just a short walk to the marina (several nice resturants)..quite and very clean. easy to catch a cab back into town. we rented bikes the area is bike friendly less than 10 min ride to the main square in town.the only drawback was the shower has only 1 valve no temp control its not cold but it is on the brisk side..mgr spesks good english and was very helpful..small bar downstairs specializes in mezcal in fact on the front of the hotel the only sign says mezcallera. the entrance to the hotel is on the small side street. it was a little confusing.we had a grat tme.
• Abraham (8/5): Lugar muy tranquilo. - El lugar es muy bonito, el problema fue que no había señal de televisión y el Internet no servía bien, por lo tanto no teníamos comunicación. La gente muy amable y siempre atentos a nuestras peticiones.
• lorenzo (2/5): Not worth the miney - Here’s a list. No toilet seat on toilet, no mirror in bathroom, since shower was not enclosed the water deposited on bathroom floor. The WiFi was not secure and reception poor to non-existing. Even for the price you can get better accommodations and price in Huatulco Centro. Lots of Hotels in the area of the park. Stay one night if you don’t like, there’s plenty of choices.
• sasha (8/5): Cute small hotel away from town - Nice looking hotel, well maintain. Friendly staff. No laundry service, weak wifi and no drinkable water in the room was a bit annoying for me. But would recommand it anyway for the price. Room #3 has a really nice balcony.

The staff spoke no English and my Spanish is not good. The toilet had no seat, the sink drain pipe was not connected and the shower had very poor water flow. The night man was very friendly and helpful. All in all very poor.
