- tiffany (6/5): Great staff & pool. Horrible beds. - All the staff on both shifts, in all areas, were super friendly and awesome to chat with. Everything about the place was great EXCEPT the beds! We have stayed in a lot of hotels and aren't picky. But our rooms beds were so uncomfortable and none of us slept well. Pillows were nice. But the bed itself was thee worst night of sleep ever during travel.

Dove body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, and lotion were provided and smelled really good. The staff was very nice and followed up with a text to make sure that we were happy with our room and that we didn’t need anything else.

- shawnams2023 (2/5): Worse experience tonight Sunday 3/22/26 - We stopped there tonight roughly around 1:30 am, were greeted by a lady who clearly lacks professionalism. Us arriving was a burden to her. We explained we've been traveling with our kids. We saw a price online through Priceline. We were wondering if we could book it in the hotel we are exhausted. We just wanted to get our kids in a room and rest up and she explained to us that she would not honor that rate of the $135. Told us there was nothing she can do and said she had rooms but we would be responsible for the $300+ per night, my husband said we could just pay online and she said she wouldn't let us check in if we booked online until check in time which would be later that same night around 3pm. All we wanted to do was get our babies in a safe place to rest and off the road from other sleepy drivers.

We have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express a number of times and have appreciated the excellent staff. This stay confirmed our previous impressions. Many thanks to Jazz, who found, and turned in, the credit card I left in our room the day of our departure. We were about an hour down the road when the front desk clerk, Alex, called to let me know that I had left my card in the room. Thanks to the quick notification, I was able to cancel my credit card immediately. Jazz and Alex prevented a less than honest person taking the card and using it. Kudos to Keefry, the manager for a clean, comfortable, well run establishment.

My husband travels for work for long periods of time in Elizabethtown, KY, and we’ve always chose to stay here. This place is not just a hotel to us, we think if it as our home away from home. The staff are awesome hardworking individuals. The place is kept immaculate, and service is amazing. We appreciate each and everyone of them, from front desk (Naveyah, Tony, Alex, Angela),kitchen (Sarah, Dorothy, Amber, Jess), Maintenance( Mario & Luigi😊) to cleaning crew (Katherine, Naveah, Kylie, Brittany, Jen, McKenzie, Patrick, Adrian, Edin) These are just a few names, ALL of their employees are courteous, and hard working. I HIGHLY recommend Holiday Inn Express in Elizabethtown, KY for your next stay.😊💕

It is obvious that this hotel is managed very well. The breakfast was very good for this type of hotel and the coffee station had stevia. The bathroom was roomy,clean with a great shower. Best of all the bed was wonderful with a high quality mattress. Well done.

The water pressure in the shower was amazing. Room was clean and well-appointed. Very near a variety of restaurants and walking distance to Culver's if you need a quick meal.
