- jonwI6064VK (10/5): The best hotel in Bangkok! - We spent four nights at this incredible hotel from 29 March to 3 April, and it was exceptional from start to finish. We used the hotel’s chauffeur service for our airport transfer — a lovely touch — and were greeted by name on arrival. With our luggage taken care of, we were whisked straight to our room for a seamless, stress‑free check‑in. Our room was stunning, featuring a huge bathroom, a separate WC, a rainfall shower, and a bathtub that was basically a mini swimming pool. The concierge team were consistently helpful, arranging taxis and assisting with anything we needed. On our first night, we dined at Bull & Bear, which offers breathtaking views of the Bangkok skyline. The food was outstanding — some of the best I’ve ever had — and the service was flawless. We felt genuinely well looked after throughout the entire meal. Thank you to everyone at the Waldorf Astoria for another truly memorable stay.
- realGordon (10/5): Fantastic stay at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok - My stay at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok was fantastic, even if I essentially used a luxury hotel as a very fancy hibernation cave. When I first checked in, Ink from the Front Desk gave me a warm welcome, introduced the property, and upgraded me to a massive suite with an amazing view. The service was top-notch the entire trip, right down to Pookie giving me a wonderful send-off at checkout. We also tried the red velvet cake-which the Waldorf actually invented, and it completely blew us away. The only bummer was that the big swimming pool was under maintenance, and the bed was so dangerously comfortable that I slept right through breakfast every single morning. I guess I have the perfect excuse to come back, if only to finally see what the breakfast buffet looks like.
- Inja555 (4/5): Not a Good Value - With a tiny and poorly equipped fitness area, guest rooms with a view of only the building next door 3-meters away, and a cold-as-ice front desk staff, I do not recommend this hotel. Particularly in a city with so many nice hotel options. Waldorf Astoria Bangkok is not a good value. Potential guests should note that in hotel exterior photos, the tall white tower is actually the Magnolias serviced apartments. The Waldorf hotel is the short building in front, blocked on all sides by other buildings. Only a couple rooms on each of the 9 floors catch a glimpse of the green space across the street; and these are the room photos used in the app. If you like going to the gym, you will not like this hotel. The fitness room is by far the smallest and most sparsely equipped I’ve ever seen in Bangkok at this level. I’ve recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Erawan, Intercontinental Ratchaprasong (newly renovated), Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit, as well as the JW Marriott Sukhumvit, and all have much better facilities. The Waldorf gym doesn’t even have a simple cable machine. Completely unacceptable at this price point. I was surprised at some other reviewers’ over-the-top comments on customer service, and suspect the Waldorf might be the only hotel they’ve ever stayed at in Bangkok. The customer service is generally pleasant and nothing more; certainly, an absolute minimum standard for a Waldorf Astoria. You will find the same or better level of service at most any other Bangkok hotel in this tier. An exception to the overall pleasantness mentioned above was the front desk staff. All my interactions with front desk personnel were. . .strange. Check-in, check-out, and general inquiries. Each person I talked to was like a disinterested robot. There was zero warmth or feeling of hospitality; like they were doing me a favor by talking to me. I recommend a full and urgent re-train of the front desk staff. The Waldorf Astoria Bangkok is not worth the price, especially with so many similar hotels close by. I will not stay here again.
- Saysum (10/5): One of the Best Hotel I have stayed in Thailand - Overview: I want to preface this review by saying that we have stayed at multiple five star resorts throughout the world. This one ranks right up there with the best. Location, service, value, and experience was amazing. Location: in the heart of downtown. Very close to shopping and eating. BTS station is only 7-10 min walk. Never took long to get taxi to come. The only issue was that it was a highly congested area with lots of traffic. Hotel/rooms: the overall space was beautiful. Looks very updated and well kept. Set up is different in that lobby is on the 16th floor but rooms are below. I was afraid that meant multiple elevator changes… But this was not the case. There’s an elevator from the front door straight to the lobby. There are also other elevators that takes you directly to your room. The hotel room was very big considering. We had a base room. There was a king bed as well as a couch as well as room for a rollaway. There is a small dining table with two chairs. There is also a mini couch in front of the bed. The bathroom was very large. The only downside was that there was no shower curtain or door separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom.I really appreciated the 2 closets. Lots of room for luggage. We had a connector room and there is a common door that lead to a small common area (that lead to the two rooms). Great place for overflow luggage. The room had multiple outlets. Lighting was great. water pressure was great. There is also a small fridge. Bed was very comfy. Service: Amazing. Check-in was very easy. The only negative was that our rooms were not ready at 2pm even though we have Amex Platinum. Throughout our state, service was exceptional. I loved the fact that there was an app with a chat that I could use to communicate with staff. Responses were prompt. Made life very convenient. Everyone could speak good English. I especially enjoyed the staff and service breakfast buffet. They go out of their way to try to remember you and your preference (table request, coffee request, etc). Amenities: WiFi was pretty strong through out. The pool area was very nice. Great touch to have some loungers directly in the water. There is built in shade over the pool. Breakfast buffet was awesome. One of the best buffets I have had. Great selection with daily changes in items. Very big fruit selection including all peeled and cut. Coffee selection was good and made fresh to order. Loved their pastries (must asked them to warm). Free parking was also a big hit for our guests. Another feature was the Loft lounge/bar. Located at the top of hotel, very nice vibe and fantastic view of city. It’s truly a hidden gem. Great drinks as well. Value: I think it’s a great value for the quality you get. Add the Amex FHR benefits and it makes it over the top. The $100 credit goes a long ways for F&B. I would definitely return to this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Everything from the check it, the turn over service, even the front door men and women were fantastic. Even the ladies who check you in for breakfast remembered my wife and i’s names every morning. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel to anyone and will be 100% coming back in the future. Also perfectly placed next to shopping centers and a 7/11 with in walking distance from hotel. Rooms were more than spacious, we easily could have fit children in our room. And the closet has plenty of space for everyone.

After staying the Waldorf Astoria, I would certainly put this at the time of my list.

Check-in is done seated at a desk, which immediately sets a more relaxed, personalized tone. Afterward, an associate personally walks you to your room and offers a full introduction to the space and its features—something you rarely see even at top-tier hotels. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering incredible views of the Bangkok skyline. Every detail—from the finishes to the amenities—feels intentional and high-end without being overdone. In the morning, you have access to one of the best breakfast buffets in Bangkok. Because the hotel isn’t overly large, the dining area never feels crowded. The food is consistently fresh, with a wide variety of both Western and Asian options, and several dishes rotate daily, so it never feels repetitive. The service throughout the hotel is exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. The staff goes out of their way to make the stay feel personal rather than transactional. The location is another major highlight. Situated in the heart of Bangkok, it’s within walking distance of several high-end shopping destinations like CentralWorld and Siam Paragon making it incredibly convenient whether you’re visiting for leisure or family travel. Overall, this is one of my favorite hotels in the world. It strikes the perfect balance between luxury, comfort, and service, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok—especially couples.

The breakfast exceeded all expectations, and the entire team, from the food and beverage staff to the front desk and the pool and spa staff, is fantastic and made our stay an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much, that made our stay unforgettable. The only thing, the hotel should reconsider the naming of its room categories. If the category description states "Park View," then guests should actually have a park view and not have to go close to the window that they actually can catch a glimpse of a small part of the park to the right. The view should not be the opposite building. This slightly marred our arrival, but it was resolved extremely professionally and courteously. Thank you for that; it demonstrates what makes your hotel truly unique.

The room, and all the spaces around the hotel, was gorgeous and the amenities of very high quality. The breakfast was definitely a highlight and so was the iconic pool. Service was impeccable throughout. We also really enjoyed drinks at the Loft bar with stunning views of the city. We will be back for sure!!

Staff – Friendly but inconsistent execution The team is very friendly and tries to follow up on requests. We received a honeymoon cake, which was a thoughtful gesture and appreciated. Check-in – Not five-star standard The check-in area was extremely crowded and lacked privacy. We were seated directly next to other guests, which did not feel premium. After check-in, we waited 35 minutes for our luggage. It never arrived. We had to call and then wait another 15 minutes. This is not acceptable for a hotel in this category. Room condition – Below expectations The bathroom blinds were clearly broken and were not addressed during turndown service. Only after informing our PA was an engineer sent the next morning. Several elements in the room appear glued and are already coming loose. The toilet remote holder was damaged. These details matter at this price point. Breakfast – Very strong Breakfast is excellent in terms of variety and quality. Mango sticky rice, pastries, fruits, desserts, drinks, and cooked dishes are all very good. However, it is very crowded. Turndown – Inconsistent Snacks were provided only on the first night, not on the second. In a hotel of this level, consistency is expected. Slippers were placed on only one side of the bed despite two guests occupying the room. On the positive side, personal bathroom items were neatly arranged on a white towel, which was a nice touch. Overall While the location and breakfast are strong, hotel room is clean, the operational inconsistencies and room maintenance issues do not match the pricing or five-star positioning. Based on our recent stays at comparable luxury hotels (in Bangkok), this experience falls short and we would probably not go for this Hotel in the future.

I travelled to Bangkok to offer prayers for my late grandmother at the Erawan Shrine, and I chose to spend this night with a brand that has accompanied me through different phases of my life. Even before arrival, coordination was thoughtful and clear. Pornpimol Suksai initiated contact as my assigned Personal Concierge, and Luna Yameera Inban followed through attentively on arrangements, preferences and payment coordination. Mason had also supported earlier communication, all of which reflected structured continuity within the Personal Concierge team. Upon entering my room on Level 14 during the Chinese New Year period, a seasonal welcome arrangement had been elegantly prepared. From the Front Office department, Ink, Emily, Anna and Noble ensured smooth handling of arrival and departure. Pat from the Personal Assistant team kindly confirmed a late check out, allowing my schedule to remain comfortable before my evening flight, and Nun from the same team ensured that any requests were delivered to my room almost instantaneously. The Concierge team, including Beer, Ni, Oil and Sak, were approachable and precise whenever assistance was required. Dining experiences were handled professionally by Mel, Dunk and First. Suriyakon Pasom from the bakery took time to explain the pastry selections and recommend items thoughtfully, making the experience effortless and enjoyable. The Spa experience was coordinated with swiftness by Mesa, together with Suthinee Ketnak and Vilaiporn Buntoonmahattana. My therapist, JJ, delivered the treatment with calm assurance and professionalism. Even when adjustments to appointments were required, communication remained gracious and clear. To me, a Waldorf Astoria experience is defined by emotional intelligence and quiet confidence. It is the ability of a team to understand context, coordinate seamlessly across departments and deliver service with composure. During this stay, I experienced exactly that. My stay took place during a high occupancy festive period, yet the property maintained calm efficiency throughout. I would also like to extend my appreciation to General Manager Mr Sebastien Pisano for leading a high calibre team. Thank you for allowing me to experience a dignified Waldorf Astoria culture. I will certainly return to Waldorf Astoria Bangkok for another meaningful stay.
- bostonss (2/5): Scammed by the Waldorf - This is how a five star hotel scammed us for the equivalent of $50. Just stayed at the Waldorf, 3 nights in Feb 2026. Writing as we leave for the airport to warn you about the scam at the Waldorf. Booked this through Amex’s platinum fine hotels so we had $1000 f&b credit. Our first night, we went to their Loft restaurant and had a light dinner to make sure we utilized the credit. Our bill came and they had given us a 25% discount as guests of the hotel so our dinner bill went from 3600 baht to 2600 baht and we left 500 baht tip so our total was 3100 baht (rounding to make math easier). At check out, they showed our dinner charge as 4500 baht in the itemized bill. The Amex $100 credit in baht was 3100 baht. The numbers don’t add up with the story they gave. Waldorf said they could not apply 2 discounts to the dinner so they removed the 25% discount, and said our dinner bill was 4500 baht even though 3600 baht pre-discount + 500 tip is only 4100 baht…Waldorf somehow got that to add up to 4500 baht…somehow adding 400 baht additional. At no point, until we literally were checking out, did Waldorf tell us that discounts could not be combined. We didn’t even ask or know about the 25% hotel guest discount at the restaurant until they gave it to us. So even though we overall liked the hotel and enjoyed our stay, be aware that Waldorf Bangkok will slip in extra charges to your bill when you leave. Review your itemized bill when you leave and leave enough time at check out so you can dispute any charges. 1400 baht is not much but it is the principle and that you don’t expect this shady practice from a Waldorf. For anyone booking this as an Amex fine hotels booking, also beware that they may “lose” your reservation. When we checked in, they tried to tell us they found our reservation but it was cancelled so we had no reservation. We pre-paid so after 15 minutes and getting on the phone with Amex, it wasn’t until we literally had Amex on the phone that, Waldorf “found” our reservation and everything was fine and we were able to check in. Felt like they were purposely putting us in a bind so that we had to book new rooms and pay again. They just kept shrugging and saying they couldn’t find our reservation. It wasn’t until I got on the phone with Amex that they miraculously “found” the reservation and it was not cancelled and everything was fine for check in. We didn’t get scammed elsewhere in Bangkok only to be scammed by the Waldorf. Stay somewhere else unless you want to be scammed by your own five star hotel.

The pinnacle of luxury hospitality in the most desirable location in Bangkok. Wonderful service, excellent food and drink. It feels as though no luxury is spared. The view from the pool itself is worth the price of admission. I want to mention first and foremost the breakfast server Am, who I started both of my morning at the hotel with at the delicious and spectacular breakfast. Am brought a warmth and care to his service that was heartfelt and genuine. Also housekeeper job, thanks for the wonderful upkeep of my room and your English fluency which helped me solve a self-imposed issue with my room. I’ll be back to this hotel. Thank you to the whole team for providing such a wonderful experience.

The staff from the moment we walked in to the day we left were very kind and helpful. They made us feel like VIP guests! We enjoyed our upgraded room. We celebrated our honeymoon at this property during our last night in Bangkok and it was totally worth it. The food was delicious, especially the steakhouse! Lots of great food selection at the breakfast buffet! We really don't have any complaints. The only thing missing was a hot tub but their pool was spectacular. We enjoyed the sunset city view from the rooftop pool. The in room bathtub was very nice to have and the bathrobes very comfortable! Overall a great 5 star hotel. Amazing hospitality.

The only thing they can think about is the room design which is too weird for me and no space for luggage to put. They put the Wardrobe inside the restroom. I am not sure about is the room that I only stay. Just room itself didn’t give me the wow factor.

- timuro245 (10/5): Exceptional - The Waldorf in Bangkok is a serenity of calm amidst one of the most bustling parts of Thailand. From the moment we entered, it felt like we were the most distinguished guests, which is how the wonderful staff made everyone feel. The room was very thoughtfully laid out, with plenty of well placed charging points, the most comfortable hotel bed I have stayed in and blackout curtains that are controlled by the press of a button. The Aesop toiletries are heaven, alongside a rainfall shower head that has the right amount of pressure. The room was kept spotless, housekeeping did an excellent job and it felt like every time we left the room and came back, it had been cleaned again, yet we never saw housekeeping during our stay. We tried Front Room, Peacock Alley, The Brasserie and The Loft. All the food, drink and service was memorable, with the breakfast spreads being one of the best we've ever tried. The spa and pool were superb too, and each interaction we had was so warm and friendly, with staff always going above and beyond to help. I'm not sure there was an instance in a public area where we had to open a door ourselves as staff were already there ready to do so. There have been some comments/concerns regarding the nearby construction. Whilst it has unfortunately taken some of the sweeping park views away from many of the rooms, it otherwise did not have an impact on our stay. This is an experience that we will not forget and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
- Q6667UTstefank (10/5): A luxurious home away from home - We keep on returning - The Waldorf-Astoria Bangkok, located in Ratchadamri, one of Bangkok's most prestigious and important neighborhoods with endless shopping and dining options, numerous religious sites as well as very convenient walking and public transportation options, is turning into our luxurious home away from home, with Bangkok being our second home anyway. Welcome was excellent, even though the hotel was fully booked, Khun Noble tried his best, and at least secured us as Hilton Diamond members a Suite upgrade on the first and the last night of our five-night stay. Just the next day, our King Deluxe was confirmed for the entire stay. The team undertook all efforts and made us very happy guests, thank you once more for all the trouble you must have had to go through for us! The King Deluxe Suite was simply delightful, with its appealing design, comfortable bed and outrageously good bath tub. The bathroom in general is beautiful and Aesop amenities make sure of a particularly enjoyable bathroom experience. Just the shower, which in itself was great, needs a little refurbishment against traces of mold in the corners and in the silicon. Housekeeping was very friendly and seems to have a good grip on the rooms. Special requests like extra water or extra tea were fulfilled - not only once, but the team kept on anticipating our wishes. One of the highlights was, as always, the exceptional service at the delicious breakfast, with a huge selection of very diverse options, excellent drinks and the most heart-warming team one could imagine, with the highly professional lead of Khun Holm. The level of organisation is rare and impressive. Also, the bar "The Loft" keeps on serving great drinks with a breathtaking view of Bangkok. Even though ambience in public spaces is pretty luxurious and exclusive, some more care for details such as loose wall panels in the aisles would not harm. The late check-out at 1.30 pm went smoothly, even though a prior call revealed that not all team members had been informed. After all and once more, an absolutely wonderful sentiment remained, and we cannot wait to be back!

Sehr sauber, Wasser Handtücher alles wunderbar, aber ein Teil der Geräte ist etwas älter bzw. gehört serviciert und die Raumgröße ist überschaubar. Das kennen wir von Hotels in dieser Kategorie anders.

My experience was soured long before I even arrived; despite my assistant reaching out to the hotel a full month in advance to coordinate my stay, the communication was abysmal. In just a few hours of being here, the property has failed on multiple levels: • Hygiene Issues: Upon entering the room, I was greeted by dirty towels. This is unacceptable for a luxury brand of this caliber. • Deceptive Pricing: The pool bar staff is misleading guests regarding costs. Service charges and taxes are added to the bill despite no mention of them on the menu. • Lack of Integrity: The staff’s overall attitude feels more like an attempt to cheat the guest rather than provide the legendary Waldorf service. I have stayed in the finest properties from Shanghai to St. Petersburg, but this is the first Astoria that has failed so miserably. This review will be updated as my stay continues.

- Hongers (4/5): Cockroach Issue - Great location, hotel opened in 2018 but well maintained. It should be a great stay until second night that I caught a cockroach in my room. I came back from tour outside, as soon as I open the door, saw a cockroach crawled across room to the dining table. I was able to take a video of it, called hotel and they came in and got it. But the fact that there’s a cockroach appeared in the room, meaning there should be more than just one. Hotel offered to change room for me, saying it was upgrade but in reality the room was slightly smaller than original room; and bed side plug didn’t work. Checked out in the morning, they waived the pizza and a glass of wine I ordered by pool side, nice gesture, but still doesn’t justify the pest control/hygiene issues. It’s been almost one week, I still not receiving the e-bill via email as they promised me.

It’s about a 45 minute drive by taxi which cost us 500 baht or around $16 US so not bad at all. The hotel sits in the heart of Bangkok’s famous shopping and cultural district. The hotel has a beautiful but small pool area and has 3 restaurants. One is called the Front Room which serves Thai cuisine but we didn’t eat at this place. Bull & Bear serves steaks which we didn’t try eat and it was terrific. Brasserie which serves a beautiful breakfast buffet and makes eggs, waffles and pancakes to order. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful and have a beautiful bathroom with a big tub and the best shower which you can control the water temperature. It also has a heated toilet with a bidet. The people that work here are amazing and are very helpful so don’t hesitate to ask. We will definitely be back.

Spend five minutes here and you feel amazing. Stay two days and you feel like the most important person on earth because of their attention to detail, superb quality, and the staff’s unmatched hospitality. - Vsosho (6/5): Futsu - I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok in December, and it was kind of a mixed bag. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with really nice rooms and amenities. My room was comfy and well-kept, and I definitely enjoyed the quality of everything. But I did run into a few hiccups. As a Hilton Honors member, I usually get some kind of room upgrade, but when I checked in, they said there were no upgrades available. Later on, I saw in the Hilton app that there were indeed better rooms open, which made me feel like the staff wasn’t being totally transparent. Also, there was this 1,000 Thai Baht credit I was supposed to use at the bar, but when I was checking out, they tried to charge me for it. It took a while to get that sorted out, which was a bit frustrating. All in all, the hotel is definitely beautiful and has great amenities, but the service felt a bit too standard and not as personalized as I experienced at other luxury hotels.
- susantiu (10/5): Luxurious, quiet opulence with unrivalled service and food! Top-notch 5-star!! - The Waldorf Astoria Bangkok remains one of our all time favourite destination hotels (yes, destination hotel, not destination Bangkok lol!) for a quick luxurious getaway. Despite changes to its surroundings (blocked views) resulting in a huge loss of open park views from the south side of the building, affecting many south facing rooms and particularly the rooftop pool, it is one of the most gorgeously furnished hotels balancing quiet, understated luxury with opulence. And to top it all, a level of service that is consistently the highest one can find, from the front desk, to the spa, to the Front Room Thai restaurant and especially to the Brasserie breakfast staff. All delivered with grace, friendliness, efficiency & professionalism. It is well-known that their breakfast is a top draw and rightly so. How many 5-star hotels can boast pate en croute, duck rillettes, freshly shaved Jamon Iberico for breakfast? More importantly, the quality of all the food offering (save for their bacon, perhaps) remains top-notch and unsurpassed. Dinner at the Front Room was equally as enjoyable with dishes excellently executed while service was exemplary. Another highlight is the spa treatment rooms. I love the fact that guests have their very own private room (see photo) to change adjacent to but separate from the treatment room complete not only with standard toilet & shower facilities, but thoughtfully equipped with lens solution & case, Aesop toiletries etc. We opted for a city view Deluxe Room and worked with reservations to make sure there were no surrounding construction noises. The rooms are gorgeously designed, luxurious and furnished impeccably, but despite its 50sqm, there is not a lot of empty spaces in the room itself due to the choice of furniture and placing. A larger, more generous space is dedicated to the bathroom, wardrobe and toilet (Toto!) area instead with options for open and closed wardrobe spaces. I was most happy to discover that they have installed (or does it differ from room to room?) a shower door separating this area with the double sinks and bathtub. In my previous visit, I found that the absence of a door created unwanted loss of heat & steam from the shower since it was an open area all the way to the bedroom itself resulting in chilly showers! There are two suggestions I would like to make with regards to the deluxe room setting to enhance guest user experience. Firstly, since the bathroom area is large, one would have expected a dressing table with mirror at the very least. Right now, there are two mirrors, a large one above the two sinks and vanity & a full length one at the side. In our bathroom at least, there were one too many 'dead spaces' where a dressing table can be put (see photo), like for one to make up or dry ones hair sitting down. Or at least, there should be a stool provided in the bathroom to do this (like in the spa rooms). Although there were a lot of hanging wardrobe spaces, there was also a shortage of drawers for clothes. The ones at the bottom were too shallow and are probably for shoes only. My second suggestion is to also provide some form of sitting by the entrance to the room for guests to wear their shoes (see photo for suggestion). Just a stool will be welcome! We plan to keep returning to Waldorf Astoria Bangkok because our stay experiences are always such a highlight, accented by unrivalled service and the most delectable food!

We booked two King One Bedroom Astoria Suites. We were greated by a couple staffs. The one that stood out the most was Ms. Luna. Her name matches her outer beauty and inner beauty. She was extremely helpful. She took great care of my brother and I. It doesn't matter what we need. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. We did a day trip to our meeting in Vietnam. We both were exhausted and frustrated with getting through customs with both airports. But once we arrived back at the hotel. Ms. Luna greated us with her beautiful smile and hospitality that made our hard day more calm. Even though I had only mentioned Ms. Luna. But all the staffs at Waldorf Astoria Bangkok are amazing. This reflects on great management teams. I had the pleasure of getting helped by Khun Nathana(Jib). She went out of her way to clean the injury that I had from my trip to Luang Prabang. She came up to my suite and cleaned my wound and wrap my arm for me. On behalf of my brother, Dr. VanderPal and I. Thank you so much Ms. Luna, Khun Nathana(Jib), and Waldorf Astoria staffs for your hospitality ka 🙏. We are looking forward to being back to celebrate my birthday at Waldorf Astoria Bangkok on December 14th through the 18th. We had book two One Bedroom Astoria Suites again. I'm looking forward to celebrating my birthday at this beautiful property starting on the 14th of December. If you are looking to experience a true 5 star services. I highly recommend the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Waldorf Astoria Bangkok! - We stayed 4 nights under AmEx FHR program, and as Amex concierge recommended, not only is the location, but is the staff members' hospitality remarkably outstanding. Of course, the room we stayed kept us feel comfortable and cozy, food (breakfast and Bull & Bear) was nice, and if going out for shopping, can go most of the malls by walk and you won't get lost :) If you can stay multiple nights there, I'm sure you will become one of the big fans of this great accommodation.

And Iove the location is very accessible I think they should upgrade the hair dryer to better quality and so is it toiletries. Is a bit meh for the 5-star level. And the toilet paper should be thicker. And the property got a bit of moldy smell at the doorway or outside the lift. These they could definitely improve.

- julansw (10/5): My Favorite Hotel in Bangkok - Great location in Bangkok, with most things reachable either by foot or just a short ride. Always greeted with a personal note in the room and usually upgraded to a room with a better view makes me feel extra welcome each time. One of my favorite hotels in Bangkok with really high staff attentiveness, cleanliness with large rooms, a lot of amenities, and a pool with great views. The breakfast is amazing. Huge assortment, friendly staff, and a Mango Sticky Rice-trolley (this should really be a standard at all hotels) which passes by during breakfast. The rooftop bar (indoors) serves great drinks and snacks. We also had the luck to see a thunderstorm pass during my last visit - really cool. When entering a Waldorf Astoria, I feel calm - with the atmosphere being spacious, luxurious, and modern. The personal touch and detail-oriented approach from all the staff makes the stay memorable.

Understood that the hotel is very stingy to guest regardless of the Hilton status but I was surprised that They required guests to follow the rules, but they avoid following themselves. They asked: 1) switching to a room without standard award availability required a surcharge, I respected 2) No Diamond benefits would be honored, because the primary guest is not Diamond member, I respected 3) No early check in is possible, I respected So I spent my time to arrived at the hotel 1.5 hrs after the standard check-in time, but I was told, "your room is not ready". There is also no other accommodation, or even an apology .The front office manager’s attitude was surprisingly dismissive—as if I needed to simply “understand” their situation or somehow deserved the inconvenience. I ended up waiting another 30 minutes before receiving the room. A total of 2 hour late. After having followed every rule and request from the hotel, this treatment felt unprofessional and DISRESPECTFUL of my time. It is really awful

- GoPlaces275182 (10/5): Luxury staycation - The hotel is stunning from the moment you step into the lobby — truly worthy of being a high-end Hilton property. I love the wave-inspired design and the luxurious stone bathroom. The bathtub fills up quickly and the water temperature is easy to control. Breakfast was delicious, the staff provided excellent service, and the swimming pool is beautiful.

When enjoying the breakfast, we hoped to have the bear picture coffee, Ms. Noon smiled to understand our wishes and finally we got the lovely coffee. The room is nice and very comfortable for 2 days stay. The night bar is also great and can enjoy the relax night and vibe there. Would like to stay this nice hotel again next time.

Wonderful pool and gym and even there is sauna and steamroom with it. Staffs were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superior. Will definitely come back again.
