• Ane (10/5): Excellent accommodation - Very close to everything. A fully furnish house with the bedrooms with Air Cond, ceiling fan and a standup fan. Instructions were clear to get to the property. A clear file folder with all instructions regarding the house rubbish day etc. There were also up to date Tourist brochures which was great and helpful.

• Perry (10/5): Home and Away - Loved the layout of the home free flowing open plan, the pool to cool down during day/night. The washing machine available for use. All amenities, accessories available for use. Well cared for home and will definitely rebook to stay again. 2mins from airport 5ish kins from town.

The rooms were nice and big, the area of the home close to the main township, it had everything we needed and more! Aircon in every room the pool we will definitely book again! Thank you Sela for everything! What's not to like. This place was AMAZING!

• Edwards (10/5): Home away from Home. - The home had everything we needed and it was perfect for our family. There was no reason not to like anything about the venue it is safe, and peaceful and the local roosters are not as annoying as I thought they would be. We had daily visits from the local dogs who are quite friendly.

They explained everything to us in detail, about the accommodation, about the place, recommended services that would be helpful to us... In the accommodation, you have everything you need, and more than you need for a more than pleasant stay.
• Kerrie (8/5): We felt at home and our stay was very comfortable. It was nice to have a dip in the pool at the end of a hot day. - The property is spacious with indoor and outdoor living areas. It is in a quiet location and not in a high tourist area, but only a 10 minute walk down to Black Rock beach. The house is well-equipped and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive. There was plenty of information and clear instructions about the house itself, as well as tourist information. The neighbour’s dogs popped in to visit and local hens and roosters regularly wandered through - it made it feel like home. The only air-conditioner is in the main bedroom - this is nice for whoever sleeps in there, but not very helpful during the day. Having said that, there are plenty of fans - ceiling fans in every room, portable fans and a mobile cooler. Depending on the weather, there are good breezes that come through the windows, which all have screens and security, so can be left open. However, the bedrooms only have sliding doors, no windows, and no screens on the doors, therefore these need to be kept closed and can make the bedrooms warm at night, so that multiple fans need to be on throughout the night.

The cozy ambiance, coupled with the wa - What we loved most about the property was its perfect blend of comfort and location. Nestled in a charming neighborhood, it provided easy access to both the beach and local amenities, making our stay incredibly convenient. The cozy interiors, adorned with thoughtful touches, made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The spacious layout allowed us to relax and unwind, while the outdoor spaces offered a serene retreat to soak up the island vibes. The welcoming atmosphere and prime location made our stay unforgettable, and we truly felt like we had found our home away from home. Highly recommend will definitely come back again and rebook. Although our stay at the Air BnB in Raro was delightful, there were a few minor inconveniences. Early morning wake-up calls by the rooster took some getting used to, but after a while, we found ourselves adapting to the natural alarm clock. Additionally, the local dogs that occasionally made themselves at home reminded us of our own fur babies and made us miss them even more. Despite these small hiccups, the overall experience was still incredibly enjoyable.

Close to town, beaches and airport but off the main rd so nice and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The lounge furniture was a little uncomfortable (sagging) and because it rained the first 3 days, we spent a bit of time gathered in that space.

Beds were comfortable and we couldn't wait to come back and relax after busy days of exploring the island. The outdoor deck area and pool is where we spent most of our time. Kitchen had everything we needed to make ourselves meals. Forgot to take photos 🤦‍♀️🤣 Will definitely be booking again for our next holiday. Nothing! Everything was amazing!

• Georgegina (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful relaxing atmosphere, close to town and the airport. The pool was clean and lovely. The patio area was a great social area for visitors, a big table and plenty of seating. I would without a doubt stay here again and recommend it to others.
• Tania (10/5): Our paradise palace. - We loved absolutely everything! From booking to departure. The home is beautiful with everything we require and plenty of space to cater for our big whānau of 10. The water station is so close, and there's plenty of icecube makers in the freezer. I kept in touch with the wonderful owner, Sela, throughout our stay, who responded quickly. Our 9m granddaughter settled into the new surroundings fabulously. The pool was perfect for everyone, and the beach was so close. It was great having staple pantry needs left in the cupboard from previous guests, and we left what we didn't use for the next guests instead of having to throw away and waste. Basically, when not if we return to Rarotonga, we will return to Eve and Sandy's if Sela would have us back. Kia manuia x Absolutely nothing!!! Ok, I won't lie, maybe the crowing roosters and barking dogs early hours of the morning, but it beats the sound of sirens and hovering helicopters, lol. This is island life, not Eve and Sandys doing. • Mariah (8/5): Sela's exceptional hospitality made my stay in this stunning home more unforgettable. - This beautiful home offered a tranquil and serene escape during our brief visit. Impeccably maintained, it boasted an abundance of towels and featured both electric and ceiling fans throughout. The pristine pool, with its refreshing, crystal-clear waters, overlooked a picturesque mountain vista. We prefer keeping our room doors closed at night for better sleep, but found that 2 out of the 3 rooms lacked windows, causing them to heat up rapidly. However, during the day, the abundant wall-to-wall sliding doors in every room provided excellent ventilation.

The pool and deck were the main highlights for us and the size of the kitchen. Having 2 bathrooms was gold for our crew. Difficulty finding the house initially. Including a map would be super helpful as the address markings and directions weren't very clear.
• Katherine (9/5): Spectacular Home - Location, setting, the most comfortable and cosy home. Close to everything we needed. City, beach, airport cafes etc. It was well ventilated but I did miss air con during some of the hot humid days.
• Tara (9/5): loved it, would stay again. thanks - the price and location the pool got dirty and there were no chemicals available to keep it clean, we couldn’t use it for 2 days until it had been emptied and refilled. the owner did try to fix the problem as soon as we let her know so appreciated that, just really needed the pool in the heat!

• Nixvill (10/5): Absolutely beautiful, centrally located clean and thoroughly enjoyable property - Our stay was exceptional, exactly what we were looking for. We have a disabled son, and the property was perfect for our needs. The swimming pool was an added bonus, together with the frequent visits from Bros (cat) and the 2 dogs. The host was friendly and made contact twice to ensure everything was going well - very much appreciated. Just a couple of small niggles. The directions to reach the property were very detailed, however the street we were supposed to turn on was not signposted. There was a similar named road that was signposted, but we ended up going around in circles for a bit. Took a lot to get used to the roosters and the dog fights - especially at night! The toaster was not working - had to be held down manually. Apologies as I was intending to buy a new toaster for the home but ran out of time.
