Claire (7/5): Chambre à l'austérité oppressante où on n'a pas envie de rester, qui nous a déçus. - La propreté, la gentillesse du personnel, la localisation, et le décor de certaines parties communes. Les pâtisseries du petit-déjeuner. L'austérité du décor de la chambre qui nous a évoqué une cellule de pensionnat religieux. La mauvaise insonorisation vis à vis de la rue où les cris d'un homme en pleine nuit nous ont réveillés. Le sommier en bois sur lequel nous nous sommes cognés plusieurs fois. L'odeur d'ambiance qui nous a dérangée. Le côté glissant de la douche. L'absence de fauteuil dans la chambre où il n'est pas agréable de rester pour faire une pause dans la journée. Le cérémonial du petit-déjeuner qui fait que le moment est forcément long, et avec des interruptions constantes dues au service.

JBCabot (10/5): Live the Palazzo Life - Our travel advisor recommended this beautiful 15th century palazzo turned small hotel and we’re glad she did. It’s a stylish and elegant property in the historic center of Como. From the moment you are greeted in the small reception area and given a lovely, refreshing ginger infused drink, you feel like a guest in someone’s home. Breakfast is a multi course affair with each course more tempting than the next. For wonderful hospitality and a special setting, this is the perfect base for exploring Lake Como area for a few days.

brittaP35 (10/5): Perfection in Como - This boutique hotel with only 10 rooms is a gem, a real a luxury experience in Como. If you want a cookie cutter hotel, this is not for you. Around every turn was a whimsical beautiful surprise. Our room (number 4) was huge, and the decor was breathtaking. Original frescos, claw foot tubs, original oversized window, beautiful tiles, steam shower, and an incredibly comfortable bed. We enjoyed the elaborate breakfast every morning. Come hungry and plan to skip lunch. It was such an indulgence, and treat. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel one evening that was delicious and don't pass on the evening aperitivo. I must mention the staff... they were all, without exception, incredible. I wouldn't change a thing about this hotel. Bravo to them for perfection.

PatriciaS1858 (10/5): Beautiful Hotel - Words cannot describe how beautiful and special this place is. It took me a while to book this stay because it is not the standard cookie cutter hotel, and I am here to say I was blown away. The charm scale was next level, the staff truly engaged, the room and the breakfast were spectacular. If I have to find any fault would be with the guests that feel the need to have their dog(s) with them while eating. This hotel has spent a lot of time making breakfast and dinner at true culinary experience accompanied with a thoughtfully arranged ambience (music, flowers, linens, lighting, etc. ) to create a small blissful oasis only to be disturbed by your dog barking or whimpering for table scraps. This dog will be fine in the room for one hour while humans can enjoy the owners hard work and actually experience an almost meditative space that i am sure was not easy to create and maintain. Thank you for a beautiful experience. I love dogs by the way but I love the few special moments in life more.

uray50 (10/5): Excellent choice for a stay in Como - We had a great stay in our room, La Scrustada. Large bedroom, 2 full beds which were comfortable (wasn't sure if a king room bed would be big enough). Excellent bathroom, one sink but other stands to place toiletries. AC was fine. Quiet, although, our room was on the courtyard, so you hear the clinking of plates at 0700 as they set up for breakfast. You're up, but breakfast doesn't start til 0800. Nice breakfast with some interesting choices. We came on a national holiday and market day, so we couldn't drive to the hotel. We had to park at the municipal parking garage (which you would have to do anyway) and then take our bags to the hotel. Fortunately, it was sunny, because no Uber or taxis were available. After 4 connections and cancellations on Uber/taxi, we decided to walk. After the parking hassle, we had the hotel arrange for a private driver to take us to the dock at 0915, for our 7 hour private boat tour with Lake Como Water Taxi. Cristian met us in a BMW 7, and was great. He met us at 1630 when we returned. Highly recommend using him. Boat tour was great as well. No lines to wait on, faster than a ferry. The room pictures are nice, but the actual room is better than what you see. Our friends stayed in another room and didn't hear the breakfast set up. They really like their room as well.

It is the perfect location if you want to to enjoy Como’s historic center…we walked to the same bar each night and were able to walk to different restaurants within 10 minutes. The hotel itself is stunning…the design elements of the hotel and rooms are totally unique. The service was top notch and each night felt like staying at a very stylish friend’s home. The breakfast each day is amazing and the hotel will take care of any excursions you want to do. The lake is a 10 walk away. Can’t recommend enough.

The quiet elegance of this place is amazing . We were greeted with welcome drinks and snacks by Julie whose personality is wonderful . Cocktails and snacks were provided at 6 pm. The breakfast was amazing and is served in 5 courses . We could not eat again until dinner it was such a sumptuous spread . Rooms were large with nice bathrooms . We will return!
Julia (7/5): Charming setting - A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff for going above and beyond in returning my dressing gown all the way from Italy—they truly made our stay exceptional. The property is not only beautifully designed but also perfectly located in Como, offering a truly unique and memorable experience. The property itself has a lot of charm, but we found the rooms—ours was a Superior—to be somewhat underwhelming. We were expecting something more refined and more in keeping with the character of the Palazzo. The 11:00 AM checkout also felt quite rushed, especially considering check-in isn’t until after 3:00 PM, and we weren’t offered any flexibility for an earlier arrival. As for breakfast, while it’s presented as a five-course experience, it felt quite limited. Charging extra for eggs seemed excessive, and being served tiny spoonfuls of yogurt while others dined from low-quality “buffet-style” platters nearby didn’t quite live up to the promise.

Trip33564484562 (10/5): Wow on every count! - From the second we walked through the entrance we were blown away. The directions to reception were clear and we were warmly greeted by Julie with a blazing fire, drinks and homemade biscuits. We were offered an upgrade and shown the various rooms to choose from and found each room staggeringly beautiful. The hotel has been beautifully renovated and it is clear how much thought went into everything. We had aperitivo in the alcove with the chessboard and the drinks, snacks & service were incredible. The honesty bar was a lovely little addition for a nightcap. The breakfast was an amazing experience. The five courses were delicious and each course was impeccably presented and explained. The staff throughout were amazing and Julie in particular was very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend and we hope to visit again in the Spring/Summer to enjoy the garden.
