- Fazli36luv (10/5): Enveloping comfort, great for couples - #clean #hugeroom #personal hotspring #nice breakfast. Wonderful retreat in beitou. A short 7 mins walk from xinbeitou metro station that is picturesque and scenic. As it is tucked away, there is a sense of exclusivity while still remaining accessible to main eating/ shopping areas. Hot tub is clean with sulphur rich spring water cascading down a waterfall-like water-feature. U can see yourself in the reflection making it an all round casual lux experience. Breakfast is ladened with a touch of taiwanese heritage, unassuming and humble.

- Ana (6/5): 煙味超級重 - 我有挑選無菸房~也有備註容易過敏~對煙味敏感~ 結果ㄧ進去房間~煙味非常非常非常重(連對煙味不敏感的友人都能聞到)~我快要不能呼吸~於是打開冷氣~開到最強~沒想到冷氣越強煙味越重...看來中央空調管線裡面整個都是煙味~可能許久沒有清理了~整個晚上呼吸困難~需要開門開窗睡覺...而且景觀部分與照片不符...是被遮住的...照片裡面可以清晰看到整個穿外景象...實際上不是這樣...如果沒有煙味~房間應該算是很大很舒適~服務人員態度也非常良好..

- Verified traveler (4/5): - 我是到台北五天遊，臨時訂這溫泉酒店一晚，因為以為6點入住，3點幾到了洒店，己給職員看護照，但職員沒有查看記錄，只是把行李放在一邊，叫我們18:00回來Check-in，所以我在附近行吓食吓野等到18:00再回酒店才知道要23:00才可以入住，如果職員早時查看我的訂房記錄，我就不用白費時間等。 還有22:45我們再次回到酒店取房間，職員看護照又話沒有記錄，又話要我出示網上訂購記錄，好似要拖延時間， 最後找到紀錄了，又話差5分鐘才到23:00，我坐在大堂前面等他通知取房間，在櫃檯大堂是很細小地方，所以一直都面對着職員，可是到了23:05我再問有房未，另外一位職員竟然又要看我的護照，才有房間給我入住。 取了房間，第一件事就係放水浸溫泉喇， 我兒子去了一次大便，廁所就塞了。這酒店令我覺得不爽。
- TinaChan0325 (10/5): Perfectly located. - Perfectly located. It's close to Xinbeitou MRT station (about 7 min walk). Close to Beitou Library, Thermal Valley and Beitou Hot Spring Museum. The hotel is modern, clean and has a friendly staff.Offering breakfast buffet, Will definitely recommend this hotel.

- AiLingH11 (6/5): Note the fine prints when you book this hotel - It’s a great hotel, room is big and nice and comes with a hot spring tub. Location is near eateries. Good breakfast spread too. However, after booking, do read the booking confirmation carefully. We didn’t even know we supposedly got a good deal of getting the room at almost TWD4000 a night for a deluxe room but the catch was, we had to check in at 11pm!! We reached the hotel at 6pm and was told, we can opt to check in at 7.30pm earliest if we top up another close to TWD1000! We didn’t have other options but felt kind of cornered to top up in order to check in ( and it’s not even early ) at 7.30pm when most hotels allow guests to check in after 2 or 3pm!

- debchansy (8/5): Private Hotspring - Came here for a night stay at New Beitou. Was told that hotel check in timing was 7pm, we reached early afternoon so had to hang around before check in. Hotel is small and cosy there were local tourists from Taiwan that stays there too. Location is about 10mins walk from the New Beitou station. We stayed in the Deluxe Double room. Hotel room lighting is too dim, only have a few spot lights around. Can be uncomfortable staying a room which was too dim as you can't see things properly. Room is clean. The room is huge with a huge toilet accommodating a private hotspring tub. Hotspring was nice to soak in. The bed was comfortable. However the design of the hotel room is questionable. A decent hairdryer of 1000w is provided for. 2 bottles of drinking water + a safe for your valuables. Overall it's a comfortable stay.

- Goh777 (4/5): Will NOT go back - Booked modern suite 2 nights for 2 separate beds, 3 months in advance. I was informed that check-in time was 6 pm. On arrival date we checked in at 6:30 pm and have to wait for 10-15 minutes in order to separate the beds. After 15 minutes wait, we had to ask the reception if our room was ready ( instead of she informing us). Receptionist knew that we were unhappy and helped us bring luggage into lift. After pressing level 3 button she stepped out of lift and informed us that our room was on the right side after lift opened at level 3. Lift lobby and corridor at level 3 was very dark. My elderly mum (using walking stick) has to juggle her luggage and walking, was afraid that she could not see well and might trip and fall. Whereas i was managing my own luggage and our shopping stuffs. (Why didn't the receptionist help us all the way to the room?) Bathroom was very dim too. We couldn't enjoy the hotspring as there were noises from outside window and water drainage sound for pipe from neighbours for draining their hotspring tub. There was instruction written in Chinese in the bathroom advising us to cover drainage holes before sleep, to prevent noises. I followed the instruction and could still hear very loud water draining sound from our bathroom, numerous times middle of the night. Which means we did not have quality sleep for both nights. The next day we had a long day, looked forward to go back hotel to rest. However room was not cleaned up. As our tissue paper was running out and towels were wet, I tried to call the reception for replenishment. Phone was not working and i had to take lift down to inform reception. Cleaner turned up in 5 minutes with the necessities, i received them from her at our door. She did not leave immediately and however findng excuses to "value add" her service so that she could stay a little bit longer (seemed to be waiting for tips). We rejected her offer and ask her to leave. Buffet breakfast was not fantastic but staffs were polite. We do NOT recommend this hotel. No way that we will be back.

- KIT LING (4/5): Misleading check in time - When make a booking, you can have any information that the check in time is crazily set at 11:99 pm. Even the confirmation notification shows at the beginning of the page that the check in time is between 15:00 to 23:00', there is another insignificant information showing that the check in time is at 23:00. It is crazy and contradictory. It wasted me lots of time to argue with the hotel staff and my holiday mood has been ruined.
- half-life2 (8/5): Would stay here again - Daily breakfast was nice and convenient. They have several types of rooms ranging from small with no windows to bigger room with large windows. We stayed in 2 different rooms and both bathroom/thermal bath setup were great. This hotel also offers rooms by the hour. Location also convenient, close to different restaurants/shops and MRT.

- Angelo Michele (6/5): Deludente! - Ho scelto questo albergo per fare hotspring, ma al mio arrivo in camera ho notato che la stanza era un po’ datata, e sopratutto non corrispondeva alla foto di quando avevo prenotato. La colazione è basata solo per turisti orientali, ma 2 cose per noi europei le potete anche preparare. La cosa più grave che ha rovinato la mia breve permanenza è stato il fatto che ho trovato la federa del cuscino sporca di strisce nere, ma anche il lenzuolo aveva degli aloni. Di positivo il personale dell’hotel molto cortese, infatti mi hanno portato 2 cuscini con federe pulite anche se era notte inoltrata.

- trvlnsandy (10/5): Convenient location and friendly staff - I enjoyed my stay at the Golden Hot Spring. Unfortunately, it was extremely hot while we were there so difficult to explore. There seemed to be always someone on duty who spoke reasonably good English. Convenient walk from the historic Beitou (not regular) Train station and the tourist information person walked out with us to point the way. Breakfast pleasant, although pretty much the same every day. My only complaint with the hotel itself would be regarding internet reception - not very good in our room, I sat in the lobby to use it. Recognize that Beitou is an hour from Taipei center (it looked closer on the map to me). Very convenient to go to National Palace Museum - one stop from Beitou (regular, not historic) toward Taipei, and take the bus from the station. Hot spring bath was lovely, although would have been more enjoyable had temps been cooler. Something which surprised me was a lack of local knowledge. We stayed at a Doubletree in Taipei and experienced the same. Asked at both places for dinner recommendations (speaking of - closing times for restaurants mean closed. Last orders taken 1/2 to 1 hour before) and drew blanks. Was sent to a museum from one which was obviously undergoing renovations. So do your own research for things to do.
- NICK (6/5): - 房間内的溫泉池非常满意，十分大和舒服，窗外的欄柵能令房外不容易看到房内情況，可以在房內看著，外出北投公園的環境浸浴，提供私隱。 但房内近書枱的牆壁、書枱和雪櫃頂的bar枱面有很多小螞蟻，這點就不能接受！要加强清潔滅蟲工作。
- BK (10/5): 員工很有禮友善，早餐食物美味，溫泉水夠熱 - 在新北投站走路約7-10分鐘，沿北投公園邊走便到。無論check in 員工，餐廳員工，拍車員工們都是有禮友善，令客人舒服感覺。早餐選擇雖然不多，但食物美味，烤地瓜更是甜美。有溫泉蛋提供。豪華房間有私人溫泉，溫泉水很熱。留意有個水制才是放溫泉水啊！
- 988seungminl (10/5): Great Spring - Experienced a 90-min private spring with Hinoki bathtub. The quality of the spring water was excellent and the provided 90 minutes was enough for a good afternoon break for our couple. The staffs were all very kind and welcoming.

A little disappointed. Onsen Comfortable and fun. Location Convenient. A short walk to 7 eleven, welcome supermarket and restaurants.
- Anunt (10/5): - Only 5 minutes walk from xinbeitou train station. The downside is when its a rainy day because they don’t have fetch services. The room is very spacious. It’s very suitable for the couple and for honeymoon place.The onsen is big enough for 4person. The complimentary for breakfast was amazing too. There have many choice for you such as soup, porridge, dim sum, cereal, dessert, yogurt, coffee and so on. The breakfast start from 7am-10am. Overall we are very satisfied with the room and their service.

Me and my bf both were satisfied to the max with our stay. The complimentary breakfast was amazing too, with so many yummy choices. (Dimsum, porridge, soup, stir fried, cereal, fruits, desserts, coffee/tea...) The staffs were so attentive with 100% service. Everyone bow with greeting when encountered. We will definitely come back to this hotel again the next time we visit Beitou. Thank you for your services.
- HUI (2/5): 有被欺騙的感覺 - 訂的是特大豪華房（3999台幣加服務費558） 實際上入住時竟然成了普通房.. 訂時顯示飯店入住時間為15:00～23:30 入住時竟然說我訂的是23:00才能入住 帶了兩個小孩，天氣炎熱，當下為了三點入住好讓孩子休息，竟然額外又付了881元.. 前後花了接近六千塊台幣，錢花了卻並沒有得到絲毫相對的價值，下次再也不會去了！

- hnlchan (10/5): Spacious room and excellent location. - Travelled with family for a short holidays, we spent 2 nights in this hotspring hotel. Very well located hotl. Just few minutes walk, we can reach the heart of Beitou District and train station. Well known tourist spots such as Hotspring Museum and the Thermal Valley are both within walking distance. Our family room is spacious which I believe is well over 30 sq.m plus an in-room hotspring area. Besides wifi is free everywhere. My first choice hotel accommodation for my next visit to Beitou again.

- amyc588 (10/5): Amy C - We took a day trip and booked the triple room through Agoda. The room was spacious and quite. Room also came with snacks and bottle water. Our room was on the top floor. We enjoyed soaking in the hot spring inside the bath tub. It was very relaxing and I enjoyed the privacy too. Staffs were attentive and helpful. The room rate included buffet breakfast for three. Besides, the normal American breakfast, congee and rice were served too. Location was good. A hot spring park across the hotel and the hotel is 10 minutes walk from the train station. I will like to come back but need a room with window in the bathroom.

- pams1122014 (8/5): Pleasant Stay - The room is decent, and I particularly like the private bath, it's similar with the Japanese style. Though the breakfast is soso, the soy bean milk was quite good in which they claim it's from some award wining Japanese soy bean milk.Indeed, it's better than the most stores around the city. It's a walking distance to some small shops in town. A side note: I took a taxi from hotel to Yangmingshan, the lobby told me is about NT$ 300, but the taxi did not put the meter and charged me NT500, so please be aware that there can be some dishonest taxi drivers out there.
- HS (2/5): - It was definitely not stated clearly up-front during booking, but the check in time was 11PM. I urge either the hotel or Expedia to look into making this much more clearly stated up-front. I had to top up and extra TWD1000 there to check in at 3pm. The room cleanliness and condition was also terrible. The safe was not working,the room door knob was jammed, there was still a half drank water bottle on the dresser table and the room was dusty.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Late check-in. Garden view not worth the price. - Check your check-in time, mine was 2300, not 1100. My fault for overlooking, I paid extra US$50 to get in at 2pm. Big mistake. I found that other places offer normal check-in hours just for $7 more. Garden view is short of expectation, tall buildings around your window. The bedsheet has some smoke smell. Only two small sleep pillows for a queen bed. The breakfast is very good though. The spring water tub is big enough to stretch your legs. If I could choose again, I would have chosen a cheaper hotel near MTR. Walking from xinbeitou MTR(~8min walk on cobbled stone sidewalk, difficult to pull your luggage) should use opposite sidewalk, then cross the road. Sidewalk on the hotel side discontinues in the middle.
- TiNgTiNg (8/5): Personal hotspring hotel room - first time having your own hotspring in the room~ you get to soak in it whenever you wish to~ however the cleanliness of the room is not that good~ ants on the sofa and pillow cover is dusty and old
- TracyT312 (8/5): good room for onsen. - Only go for the onsen for 90mins on the Sat morning. Go Big room as receptionist say no more small room. Good amenities and location. I chose the hotel as it was written that the onsen room with window. I like that so that it will not be so stuffy when you soak with in hot tub. I wouldnt say the receptionist is good as the one that serve us , speak very fast and do not bother to explain again even though we gave a blur look. Overall pleasant experience.
- YeohJ31 (10/5): Awesome - Convenient location,the counter service is very friendly,the room was even more beautiful than the photos,the spa poor is very large and very comfortable,while in the the hot springs you can enjoy the outside landscape,listening to the sounds of birds in the stream,what the way to relax.the room is modem and stylish,I really like to sleep very comfortable,I want to go in the hot springs again before leaving!feel very relaxed!

- DavidASU (10/5): My favorite Hot Spring - We came quite a lot, so we applied a membership to have a small discount. This hot spring Hotel is located in Beitou and is quite well known. It’s clean, cozy but very comfortable to have a big hot spring bath tub to fully enjoy soaking bath. The location is great and the price is reasonable. We really enjoyed our every visit and surely will return soon.
- nannahachisan (10/5): Outstanding, relaxing - We were very tired when we arrived at the hotel. We were greeted by two very polite & friendly doormen. The hotel staff a genuinely polite too, very nice. The hotel was much more than expected; very modern, very artistic, very clean & stylish. Our room was very large, the bed appeared to by much larger than a king sized bed. The room overlooked the curving road alongside the rambling brook. The hot springs tub was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing experiences of my life. We soaked and soaked. The bed was very warm and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was very nice. We hated to leave. But when we left, we were very relaxed, very content. As we left, we were again greeted by the nice doormen. We will be back!

- Zita28 (10/5): value for money for hot spring - this hotel offer value for money per hour booking for hot spring. i request for one of the bigger room which is nice and big. hotel is close to subway station. granite tub offer better hot spring experience. the room comes with window overlooking a park.

- md3388 (10/5): Great place for family to chill out together - We came to hotel enquiring about a private hotspring room as we werr travelling with 2 kids (7&6yo). The ladies at reception were helpful and friendly and were courteous in explaining to us the different room types and charges. We ended up with a family room with private hotspring tub as recommended by the receptionist. The room is great and not expensive at all! We were all very happy. My boys were very excited and very happy with their hotspring time together as a family. (They can even watch tv while sitting in the onsen).
