• Carola (9/5): Alles in allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt - Sehr schöne Lage, das Zimmer war sehr ruhig gelegen zur Gartenseite. Schöne Altbauvilla im Allgemeinen. Sehr freundliches Personal und Eigentümer, die gern auch zu einer Plauderei bereit sind. Das Frühstück war sehr sehr gut, tolle Qualität und Auswahl. Frisches Obst und Rohkost, sehr gute Eierspeisen! Ebenfalls sehr guter Kaffee und Tee, der Cappuccino war hervorragend! Frühstück kostet jedoch extra! Gute Parkmöglichkeiten im Hof vor der Villa. Die Matratze war etwas weich. Entgegen der Auskunft auf Booking gab es keine Minibar und keinen Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer- das hat mich persönlich sehr gestört, weil es anders angegeben war und mir das bei jeder Buchung sehr wichtig ist. Auch wurde der Frühstücksraum abends abgeschlossen, sodass man keine Möglichkeit hatte, an Besteck zu kommen. Am ersten Abend war meine Essenslieferung daher nur teilweise verzehrbar. Keine Steckdose (oder besser noch Steckdosenleiste) am Schreibtisch. Der Ausstieg aus der Dusch-Badewanne war sehr hoch und ich wäre beinahe gestürzt (sicher nicht aus mangelnder Beweglichkeit). Der Toilettendeckel war schief. Eine Wolldecke auf dem Zimmer wäre schön, denn die Temperatur draußen war kühl und die Bettdecke dünn. Das Zimmer selbst wäre mir den Preis im Nachhinein nicht wert gewesen. Das Frühstück und Personal hat vieles wieder wettgemacht.

• 马军 (8/5): The stay has been pleasant. - The staffs were all very friendly. They can meet almost all your requirements. They even knew who you were when you arrive. That has been an impressive experience to me. On the website, it says that pickup shuttle bus is available. But I did not know how to order. So, it took me about two hours from the airport to arrive. I took the 51 bus, the U-Bahn and finally had to call an Uber which costed me 45 Euro. I have been travelled alone all the time. But this time has been an exhausting one. I am not blaming the hotel. I am just saying that there is something that can be improved.

• Chris (10/5): Lovely accommodation. - Villa Meerbusch is a stately old mansion that feels like you’ve stepped into a bygone era—- in a GOOD way! The rooms are large and well furnished with antiques. The breakfast is massive and well presented, with everything prepared/baked onsite. The owners are genteel and warm. The downtown area is easily walkable. No changes needed.

Tram is very often and visitors should avoid using their cars in the city centre. Staff is vey helpful and provides valuable information for the city and the region.

• Lisa (10/5): It was a great place to stay, the hosts gave us so much info on the local area and tips(cash not cc) - It was was a wonderful spread of homemade breads, jams, chocolate as well as freshly made eggs, bacon and waffles(if you wanted these). The room was like an English Tea house with a lovely decor and piano. Wide selections of breakfast drink selection as well.
