Rebecca (4/5): For the amount of money for the night it was very disappointing. I would not recommend staying there - I loved the location and the views. The balcony was great. When I used the jacuzzi tub the water was yellow. Like there was rust in the pipes. Once I turned the jacuzzi on orange foam came out of the jets. So I could not use it and that is the reason I booked the room. The next morning there was no hot water in the shower or sinks.

Shelley (9/5): Wonderful - I will Return! - This location is spectacular. The booking and check-in process were very easy, and I got an actual phone call from the management just prior to my arrival, welcoming me. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. To clarify 'comfortable' - this building is literally over 100 years old; the floors creak, among other characteristics of its rich history. The large-screen smart television is situated for viewing whether seated at the kitchen counter or relaxing on the very comfortable bed (furnished with soft linens, plush comforter and pillows), the balcony is roomy and offers an amazing view. Fridge, microwave, Wi-Fi? Yes! My room also had a jacuzzi! If you are seeking a relaxing, comfortable and peaceful retreat, with genuinely friendly staff - BOOM! - The Lodge is the spot! Honestly, there is nothing I didn't like, but I will advise that if you are looking for sleek, high-end luxury, this is not your spot. This is an old mountain sanctuary, hosting people who are looking for quiet comfort and great service.

Mia (9/5): Lovely little home away from home. - LOVED the place and the facilities manager who helped answer my booking questions. I loved how clean the room and grounds were. I loved the balcony and the woodsy feeling of everything. Very lovely place to stay. Neighbors were quiet. We even loved the little kitchenette next to the bed for late night snacks! Loved walking outside to trails and deer roaming around. It was the perfect getaway. We kept stubbing our shins/ toes on the bed frame. The air conditioning was a little loud. Other than that, I can't think of any other complaints. :)

Margaret (6/5): - Our "up grade to a condo didn't feel like an upgrade. The building felt grungy, although the room was clean. Didn't love that in wasn't right in town, walking distance.

Michael (6/5): - I was not aware while booking the reservation that the hotel lobby was under renovation and that I would not be able to speak with anyone in person while checking in. After calling someone and reading the full and very long email, getting into my room was easy. The building is older but still in good condition however it has very squeaky floors, which made it difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep when you are on the middle floor with people walking around on the floor above you. The room I had was updated thought, with a very nice bathroom and comfortable bed. The balcony on the room was the highlight, in addition to the easy walk to the near by restaurants and shopping. Once the lobby renovation is complete I would stay here again but would want to get a room on the top floor due to the squeaky floors.

Greg (9/5): Wonderful mountain lodge - Wonderful location in a small mountain town. Great outdoor hot tub and deck with beautiful views. Room was clean and functional. As an older lodge building, some minor quirks are expected. The floors are very squeaky and if you have an guest upstairs who likes to walk around all night, it can get quite noisy. There isn't any staff on site so you need to call if you have any questions or issues but they responded quickly.
LeAnn (6/5): - Kudos to Caleb! The room itself was very clean inside with the exception of under the bed. Do not look under the bed! There is a small space heater for heat (as this is a historic hotel but not upgraded to include a furnace). The smoke detector was missing with wires hanging from the ceiling. The staff we encountered were very friendly. However , we did not have any hot water for one whole day. I called in the morning about the hot water issue but did not get a call back as promised. Later that afternoon I called back again. This time the maintenance man came to the room to evaluate the situation and was able to fix the problem. He was extremely kind. The tv was very large and is set only to Hulu unless you subscribe to something else. The mattress was not comfortable at all, but the sheets were very nice. There is a sweet little kitchenette with a big microwave and very nice coffeemaker; you'll need to bring your own grounds. If you are handicapped, this is probably not the best choice for you with many stairs. There's an option to load and unload from a walkway on the second level. This option is steep with gravel. We didn't have some of this important info until we received a welcome email and by then it was too late as the reservation was non refundable and this was during leaf peeping time. This email also stated that weed smoking was allowed in the rooms. My husband was worried it would smell, but it didn't at all. The nearby park and diner are exquisite.

Kera (10/5): Great place to stay! - This place is great! We had an amazing time and awesome view. The room was clean and large. We were upgraded to the room with the Mountain View from the inside the room jacuzzi tub. Owners are friendly and generous! There are stairs to get to your rooms but not bad. The rustic wood balconies give this place an extra IT factor. We would definitely stay here again. We were here as just a couple for a romantic get away but totally see the advantages of this place with a multi-family stay or a couples get together retreat. This unique set up is great for anything.

The next morning they brought us some breakfast snacks and made sure we didn't have to move rooms the next evening. Its a great location, lots of elk, cute little lake nearby with walking path.

The only problem we encountered was how thin the walls are, we could hear the people walking upstairs and you can hear people’s conversation from the balcony. Otherwise it a nice place to stay!

The owners are doing a great job of keeping it modern but with a mountain lodge vibe. The caretaker Rick is top notch, he makes you feel right at home. The owner Tim was easy to get a hold of for check-in and questions.

Mindy (3/5): Disappointing. - The bed was comfortable. The overall condition of the lodge was shoddy. In our unit, the bathroom door didn’t close, there were tiles missing from the jacuzzi, which looked like a relic from the 80s and there were only screens on one window. Outside in the common area there was trash and cleaning supplies lying around and it was really uninviting.
Nathan (10/5): Cutest lodge in the cutest town - Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a week, it was such a perfect spot for a getaway! 15 minutes away from Colorado Springs in-between the mountains. Whenever we needed something, the handy man looking over the property took care of it immediately. With the cutest dog “rascal” wandering around not too far! Will recommend any family member or friend here, definitely will be back!!

Don (4/5): - The entire property is in need of renovation. The room was very small with the bed frame sticking out in the main walkway. The parking is tight for large vehicles. There is no office to help you get checked in but they do provide good check in instructions.

Ward (5/5): Passable - The view and location and sitting on the deck to see the mountains. Plenty of comfy big towels for the bathroom. The bedding was comfy. Rate a 5 for the place but the view is 8 if you're looking at the mountains. The hot tub didn't work, the coffee pot did not fit to brew the coffee, 1 coffee cup, and it was very limited on dishes and silverware. No drying rack to put the dishes on or a towel since you have to wash them by hand. Will have to use bathroom towels since there weren't any kitchen towels. The bed I felt like I was sinking into the mattress. Rustic place and needs updating. Not to mention it was missing a smoke detector only had wires. The tub has stains and is chipped. Really need a bar to hold onto to get out of the tub/shower so you don't fall. The website does not show the "reality". The price is not worth it. Was room 3 so I can't speak for the other rooms.

Tucked away in a quiet mountain town, this place is perfect for anyone wanting to unplug from the noise and reconnect with nature. We saw deer right outside our room and woke up each morning to the sound of birds and the crisp mountain air. Do yourself a favor and splurge on the best room with the jetted hot tub in the room—you will not be disappointed. The room was absolutely incredible: spacious, beautifully decorated, and the private hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. But the real showstopper? The views. We had a massive back patio all to ourselves with panoramic mountain scenery that looked like something out of a postcard. A special shoutout to Tim, the manager, who was so welcoming and helpful during our stay. You can tell he really cares about making sure guests have a great experience. We’ll definitely be back—this lodge is truly something special.
Sharon (4/5): - The room was clean but nothing like the pictures on their website...too small for the bed, no extra seating. Mainly, there was little to no hot water. Room had jacuzzi tub with overhead shower. Difficult for seniors as you are standing in the tub. Okay for overnight.

I stayed here for me and my wife honeymoon and we both were very pleased, we saw deers everywhere haha pretty cool and even saw some chipmunks! Local restaurants was awesome the food was amazing and great quality. Worth the trip!!

Janice (2/5): - I arrived late evening and I couldn’t see anything there where no lights to show you that the parking area is in top of the hill no signs saying things the entrance i seriously just walk in I always stay in green mountain falls in Airbnb fox den cabin on top pass little beaver inn but they were sold out of rooms and i decided to stay in town still but this was my first and last time it was my 5th time returning the pictures need to be updated the hot tub was not open I don’t even know if it worked or not I was just not satisfied with my 5 day stay needs a lot more work and to be cleaned properly there was hair all over the bed when I arrived then looked up and the ceiling fan was just horrible dirty

My son immediately texted photos saying that they love it! Photos looked great! This afternoon they asked for another night but it was too late... Sold out for tonight so I booked a 2 star, Eagle Motel.

There was no staff or anyone on sight to talk to.When this was booked it was completely misrepresented as a hotel and the pictures were not what we expected. All we received was a confirmation email with a room number and a door code. We will not recommend the Green Mountain Lodge to anyone. There were no signs on the property to let us know were at the right place.

Laurie (10/5): Relaxing Mountain Respite - It was a great stay. The location and view from the balcony were lovely. The checkin was simple. Unfortunately the only sink is in the kitchenette in the main room with no hand soap and no hair dryer. It just made washing hands inconvenient. Otherwise it was a comfortable relaxing getaway to the mountains.
Jan (10/5): Love this Lodge - Our stay was amazing! Wonderful room with a kitchenette and large balcony! We were travelling with our pup and they were so accommodating of her. The caretaker was so kind and such a joy to visit with. The location is perfect and the view was beautiful. Just a short walk to the tiny town and the stream runs from the lodge to the lake. I will certainly stay again!

Amanda (1/5): Bad - The scenery was nice We walked into our room and found dirty silverware and plates in the sink, coffee still on the coffee maker, food split on the floor, hair in the bathroom drain, no trash bags, dirty sheets, cold no thermostat. Told staff changed us to a different room and they had to re clean that room as well while we were moving our stuff. Still had pubic hair on the spa tub. ALSO DON'T GO HERE IF YOU WANT A HOT TUB OR POOL, THEY DON'T HAVE EITHER. When we confronted staff about this and it playing a part in why we booked there, staff told us at 8pm if we're dissatisfied after having to prove to him that indeed they do advertise both of these for there location on booking.com, he told us we could pack our bags and go somewhere else if we didn't like it. His daughter finally had to get involved and explain that's not how business is done and said they would refund our stay to try to make it better. ALSO NOT KID FRIENDLY AS THEY ARE DOING CONSTRUCTION AND LEAVE WOOD AND TRASH EVERYWHERE FOR KIDS TO FALL ON. THE POOL IS ACROSS STREET AND COMMUNITY POOL BUT NOT OPEN EVER. THIS WAS THE WORST STAY AT ANY LOCATION MY HUSBAND AND I HAD IN OUR LIVES!!! MAYBE IF HEAD STAFF GUY WASN'T SO RUDE AND OFFERED TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT FOR FALSE ADVERTISEMENT WITH HOT TUB AND POOL IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER AND HOW DO YOU BOOK A DIRTY ROOM TO SOMEONE WHEN WE WERE THE ONLY GUESTS STAYING THERE?
