El servicio fue excepcional, especialmente el de Lina, quien se encarga de los tours con gran dedicación. Sin duda, Cauca Viejo es un verdadero paraíso.” “El restaurante es excesivamente costoso, el desayuno tiene muy poca variedad y no hay reposición constante de los alimentos. Además, el servicio tanto en cocina como por parte de los meseros es demasiado demorado. La atención desde recepción, especialmente vía WhatsApp, también deja mucho que desear. Incluso, al solicitar un jabón, me preguntaron para qué lo necesitaba, lo cual resulta inapropiado. Es un lugar con potencial, pero deben cuidar mucho más los detalles, ya que resulta muy costoso para lo que realmente se recibe.”

• Cesar (10/5): Un viaje familiar - Un muy buen bufete en el desayuno, con ingredientes locales, y muy buen cafe. un lugar tranquilo y mágico, para ir en familia y volver. las alcobas muy cómodas, y su personal muy amable. recomendadisimo. Hay pocos sitios de interes cerca, es un lugar para salir poco, hay poco que hacer en los alrededores.

Es muy rico caminarlo y es muy tranquilo. La arquitectura divina. - El desayuno fué exactamente el mismo durante toda la estadía. Aunque era generoso ni siquiera tenian varidad de frutas (solo piña, papaya y melon todos los días!) - Pobre servicio. Las personas que atendian tenían un NO por delante primero. Ejemplos: La habitación no tenia nevera y cuando solicitamos que nos guardaran en la nevera para enfriar un vino y cerveza nos dijeron que teniamos que pagara descorche... Que tal! Tambien cuando pedimos subir a la habitación un desayuno porque la persona no alzanzaba a llegar nos dijeron que no podia - La factura electronica tuvimos que insisitir para que la hicieran antes de cerrar el año. - Precio de cena de 31 de diciembre excesivamente caro. $195.000 por una simple cena tipo buffet con postres tipicos y una copa de sangría es desproporcionado.

• JUAN (7/5): Lindo Hotel, cosas por mejorar - Hotel moderno y lindo, la piscina es chevere y el desayuno muy rico. El ambiente caluroso y tropical es ideal para descansar y relajarse Si vas de domingo a jueves todo cierra a las 7 pm, asi que ni comida puedes ordenar despues de esa hora. Habia una construccion al lado del hotel, por lo que el ruido empezó desde las 7 am.

• John (6/5): A pleasant location in Cauca Viejo, marred by very poor service. - It's not a bad hotel overall, centrally located in Cauca Viejo, but in comparison with others on our trip, it was disappointing in several respects - see below. The hotel is split over several buildings around the main central gardens of the pueblo. Although you have access to all the buildings in theory, it's a bit uncomfortable - you may need to move buildings for breakfast, or to access the larger pool. Breakfast was a buffet and of poor quality. Towels were torn and stained. Worst aspect was the staff and service. Whilst there were many staff in evidence, they were unattentive, talking amongst themselves and reluctant to help. They made a lot of noise early in the morning (6 am) whilst preparing breakfast. In general they seemed poorly trained, not being aware, for example, of VAT exemptions for non-residents of Colombia, not explaining aircon functioning or wifi etc.etc.

• Natalia Maria (5/5): - En cuanto a ubicación.. es muy lindo el sitio. Sin embargo había exceso de moscas, prácticamente no pudimos almorzar. El personal se esfuerza muchísimo y ello hay que resaltarlo Sentimos que no fuimos tratados igual que a todos los huespedes. Las habitaciones lindas, espaciosas, super limpias. No obstante, en el desayuno, se nos indicó que no podiamos pedir otros huevos. Sin embargo, otra persona a otros huespedes si les ofrecieron esa opción.. Claramente yo hice el reclamo y obvio lo hicieron, pero ello genera incomodidad.

Me gustó mucho el tour que hicimos la persona que lo hizo LINA me hizo enamorar más del pueblo y de querer volver ya que cuenta la historia con una pasión y un amor que le encuentras sentido el porque el Pueblo Cauca viejo. El desayuno muy básico el hotel no especifican en que sede te van a ubicar ya que tiene varias.

• Guillaume (4/5): Médiocre à cause du comportement et de l’hospitalité - La localisation de l’hôtel est top Le village est incroyable, c’est assez unique et cela suspend le temps Les rues et les bâtiments sont magnifiques 211€ la nuit dans une petite chambre au rez de chaussée pour 4 personnes sur la rue. On ne pouvait plus marché une fois tous les lits installés. Ça fait un peu surbooking. Pas d’eau chaude le matin et la réceptionniste le dimanche matin a l’accueil me dit c’est normal « ce sont les panneaux solaires, il a beaucoup plue donc pas d’eau chaude dans l’hôtel ». J’appelle mes amis dans une autre chambre qui eux ont de l’eau chaude… Il répare change une pièce et l’eau revient. La réceptionniste était assez désagréable et de mauvaise foie et a été très impolie au Check out sans aucun au revoir. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel et le restaurant n’était pas bon. Je pense sincèrement qu’on est pas tombé au bon moment.

• Julio (5/5): Beautiful apparent little town, in need of some maintenance, horrible value for your money - This is a recreation of a typical town, it presents beautifully designed houses and cobblestone streets You can’t visit this little “town” without a reservation from any the properties inside or being a guest of someone that lives there; so yes; this is more like a gated community by the river and it has only 2 restaurants with very limited menus options, lack of maintenance in some areas of the property

El punto en contra es que el personal de Recepción es lento, poco flexible y poco calificado para atender turistas. Cualquier solicitud adicional que se hace toma una eternidad atenderla, no me imagino si eso es con un turista local como hacen para atender turistas extranjeros

• Juan (8/5): Unforgettable stay - The customer service is out of this world. Camila, Carolina, Faber, Daniel, and Maria you made our stay unforgettable. The property is beautiful, the beds are soft and comfortable, food is great. That being said, the quality of the people is what makes this place amazing! Bathrooms could have used a scrub. There was mold in the shower area, the wear and tear is noticeable in this area the most.

We enjoyed the stay but did not like being in a - The property was clean, comfortable and pretty We were given a room that was in an empty building. It was low season but all the lights were off and the furniture wasn’t even arrange to use. It would have been helpful if we were offer a different room in one of the buildings that were occupied with more guests.

• Cathrin (8/5): Very good - The house is absolutely beautiful - the whole town is stunning. The staff was friendly and our room was spacious with a private balcony overlooking the square. The pool is beautiful. Our bed was super hard. It seemed like the mattress was pretty old. My parents were luckier and had a newer/more comfy mattress. The bathroom felt a little bit dirty. It’s low season, that’s why there wasn’t a breakfast buffet, so the choice was quite limited.
