Hilary (9/5): Sleepy, peaceful stay in the gorgeous Dimora Delle Balze - We stayed in Clandestini and it was the most magical, beautiful space. The entire property is drop dead gorgeous- including the grounds, amenities, rooms and restaurant. It was so peaceful and the staff were wonderful. It was the beginning of the travel season (we came mid-April) and it was very sleepy. Almost no one in the restaurant or in the hotel at all. Much too quiet for my taste. Also the water in the room was lukewarm. Also the dinner was very pricey which we have learned is not unique to this hotel. But the food and especially the wine was excellent.
Linda (8/5): - Prachtige locatie met een serene rust. Ruim opgezet, mooie kamers en echt een oase. Personeel uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Heerlijk ontbijt. Ik mist een plek om even een koffie of wat de drinken te halen, bijvoorbeeld bij de tuin of ruimtes in het hoofdgebouw. Nu moest je daarvoor naar het restaurant.
Erika Elisa (10/5): Relax, natura e un’accoglienza che ti fa sentire a casa. - La giusta scelta per l’estate Eravamo molto scettici all’idea di viaggiare in questo periodo in Sicilia, tra caldo e confusione, ma scegliere Dimora delle Balze si è rivelata la decisione perfetta. Immerso nella campagna siciliana e a poca distanza da Noto e Siracusa, è il luogo ideale per concedersi una pausa di relax, breve o lunga che sia. Abbiamo trascorso il giorno in hotel, tra piscina, bar, ristorante e spa, godendoci la quiete della natura e l’attenzione ai dettagli in ogni gesto: dal caffè servito in bellissime tazzine al cibo, sano e davvero squisito. La sera, con temperature più gradevoli, abbiamo approfittato per visitare Noto, splendida nella luce del tramonto. Lo staff è stato accogliente e premuroso, sempre pronto a farci sentire ospiti più che clienti, e a proporre esperienze speciali come la cooking class, la degustazione di vini e i picnic all’aperto per rendere il nostro soggiorno ancora più ricco e personalizzato. Torneremo sicuramente!
Paul (10/5): Beautiful property surrounded by picturesque countryside - We loved the gorgeous location of the estate, the beautifully restored buildings and the quiet gardens. The dinner restaurant (Lumia) was excellent - both the menu and the attentive service. The breakfast offering was also very impressive and the setting in the large central building with wide terrace overlooking the valley was memorable. We only stayed a couple of nights - should have stayed longer.

Shelley (10/5): Restful, beautiful property - Everything! The breakfast buffet was amazing, the actual property completely stunning and decorated so beautifully, the staff so helpful. Lazing by the pool looking out over the valley in secluded cabanas was perhaps the most relaxed I've been on this holiday. Location is great, surrounded by wineries, olive properties and close to Noto. A must to go back to! The pool is beautiful but very cold. Refreshing after a day of sightseeing in the sun, but people don't longer in it - shame as it's beautiful.

Sarah (10/5): A rustic oasis in the Sicilian countryside - Unbelievably beautiful, just a half hour from Noto center! As soon as you arrive you feel like you have entered a spa property. There is zen in the air. Beautiful property with a rustic modern desert chic vibe. The staff were so kind and attentive. I also really enjoyed a deep tissue massage. Pool was huge and refreshing with lots of pool chairs and cabanas overlooking the Sicilian countryside. Lots of amenities in the room including nice slippers and bathrobe. The reclaimed wood touches were also delightful. Breakfast was amazing with such a wide spread! We also had dinner in their restaurant and almost everything is sourced locally or even on their farm. AC worked well in the room. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows were top notch. The pool totes were so nice we bought one to bring back as souvenirs. They also have their own brand of perfume. Lots of bugs if you decide to eat outdoors but that’s to be expected anywhere. Also I would recommend the property upgrade their shampoo, conditioner and lotion to a spa brand like Kiehl’s or Le Labo. It didn’t take away from the experience but it’s just a recommendation. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Dont follow the organic theme with a lot of misinformation on allergens etc. In the middle of nowhere. Rooms are tiny and not anywhere close to the price they charge.

Every member of staff was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. And Erica from Lumia restaurant deserves special recognition. She went above and beyond every day, with grace and intuition. Dorian (10/5): A magnificent gem of a hotel - what a stunning place! - A total gem, wow - what a stunning hotel. The attention to detail, perfect design - so peaceful and quiet. Delicious fresh food, friendly wonderful accommodating staff. Loved our stay - an oasis of relaxation and luxury.
Mary (9/5): A beautiful escape in Sicily - Gorgeous hotel, beautiful property. The design and decor were spot on and picture perfect across the property. The rooms were nice, linens were divine. Lovely breakfast on the terrace. Amazing pool with a beautiful view. Convenient to drive to and explore Noto / Syracuse, but I’ll admit that it was hard to decide whether to explore or to just enjoy the beautiful space. Friendly staff. Lunch / dinner were good, but wish there were some simpler options. Room felt a tad small but it’s okay.
Vicki (8/5): interesting historical site with beautiful views and good service - The breakfast was fabulous. The refurbished old buildings were very cool and inspirational. The country setting beautiful Didn't like the dinners. Although the service was exceptional, and the setting gorgeous, not all the dishes were deserving of the high prices, and all portions were tiny. Also, we were a group of 6 and they told us that we had to order the same thing because the chef didn't like to prepare 6 different dishes. This policy that turned us all off.

Chelsea (10/5): Outstanding Hospitality Experience Down to the Finest Detail! - This is capital A architecture! What an incredible renovation/restoration of a historic property, that feels modern while respecting the character and history of the place. The chef is awesome, we did a cooking class with him and it was a must-do. He is amazingly talented and creative and you can see the amount of thought and care that goes into every detail of every dish prepared in the restaurant. This is fine dining in its ideal form! The property beyond the hotel itself is charming and peaceful, with lots to see within a half hour drive (if you can peel yourself away from the hotel - it was hard to leave!). Overall this is an outstanding hospitality experience and the staff are wonderful and genuine. Cannot say enough good things! Hard to complain about anything here!
Rui (10/5): Sweet Honeymoon Destination - We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and honeymoon. It's such a beautiful stay with everything nicely done, while maintaining the nice historical weight to it. It's such a beautiful place that I felt like I was in a movie. The location is about 20-30 min drive from Noto, and It took us about 1.5 hours to drive to Catania airport from there. Convenient location. The staff were super kind and helpful. It was during the eruption of Etna and after knowing our schedule, they kindly offered to follow up for us regarding our flight situation. The room was also super clean with nice amenities. The breakfast was one of the best I've had with hotel breakfast. Nice pool and nice small gym for any workout requirements. We definitely had a great time and would recommend it. Price is of course on the high end but largely due to yen being cheap. Overall really nice place!

Wesley (10/5): Memorable - The entire place is amazing. I felt very welcomed, there was a great choice for breakfast. The staff that served us were always very smiley and happy. Unfortunately me and my husband fell ill during the stay but the staff were very good and informative - gave us directions to the nearest pharmacy and tried to help us as much as possible with what they had in their first aid box. The entire place is peaceful and clean, we were sad to leave. The only thing was - it didn't feel like there was enough water around. We weren't drinking tap water and obviously being in the middle of nowhere meant we also weren't prepared with liters of water. They provided some 500ml cartons of water occasionally but we also had to buy bottled water from the bar which was expensive. The menu in the restaurant can also be a little more expansive.
Lisa (10/5): wonderful - The place was absolutely stunning and even though the weather wasn’t great it was the perfect spot to relax and recharge. The staff there were excellent - especially Rafaela, Santi and Salvi (aka Spider-Man) and the rest of team, they were so profesional and courteous and made our stay so much better. Also you must get a massage!

The proposer has a small umber of rooms (only 11) and great facilities, large pool, diverse seating areas and is very romantic. Food is fantastic, breakfast is amazing, service is excellent. We will be back.
