Naude (6/5): - The property needs a lot of TLC, but the location next to a waterhole teaming with wildlife was amazing.
Katriona (10/5): - I used to work at this property some time ago. The property has deteriorated significantly with lack of attention to detail, shower cubicles not holding to walls for example loose electrical cables and lamps in dangerous condition. The bed itself was very comfortable and equipped with electric blankets which were essential for that time of year. Despite arriving much later than expected and well after dark, fires were lit, water heated and a meal cooked very quickly for us. However, the bar was very limited with only local lager or coke available. It should be noted there was also no menu to choose meals from, you just have what is put in front of you and these were very much in the style of local food cooked the way locals cook it. This is certainly not up to international standards if this is something you expect from such a property. The staff were absolutely wonderful and so eager to please. Nothing was too much, from arranging game drives to having our vehicle washed before departure. Despite the disappointment about the state of disrepair the property was in and the food options, it was still hard to leave.
GILLES (2/5): Surtout à éviter - Ensemble très moyen, mais l’inacceptable est que le matin de notre départ, pas d’eau et pas d’électricité. Donc pas de douche, pas de toilette… Je demande un dédommagement et je ne comprends pas que « hôtels.com » puisse mettre en avant ce genre d’hébergement. Je contacte « hôtels.com » à mon retour de vacances.

Christopher (10/5): - A beautiful spot with a watering hole just in front where elephants, buffalo, baboons and the occasional lion come to drink of an evening (while you dine outside overlooking this view). Game drives can start from the front of the lodge and the staff are hugely accommodating in making arrangements.

Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful tree house with comfy beds and pillows. The animals we saw pass by the watering whole was impressive (porcupine, impala, spring hate, elephants, buffalo, kudu, lion, baboon, monkey, and so many more!!!!) But hands down the best part of our whole vacation was the staff! The smiles, the campfire chats, laps with Ms. Sine, cards with Mr. Danny and we can’t forget the beautiful smile of Ms Tari brining us the yummy food! Teary eyed when we left after our four nights. They do a great job at making you feel special! Totally recommend and if we come back we would no doubt stay again. PS: something we would like to forget but so thankful for all the help with retrieving our lost luggage from the airline! You saved the day and our vacation! Simply wonderful!
