Guest Reviews
- Sarah (10/5): - Fantastic place! So clean and comfortable.
- Sham (10/5): - Exceptionally clean and comfortable room
- Tanya (10/5): Very nice! - Clean room, friendly staff, everything we needed. Great location.
- Xiangyang (10/5): - Located in a quiet area and we had a good sleep.
- June (10/5): - Staff was very helpful. Room was clean
- Lawrence (10/5): - Pet areas not defined, but lots of grass/woods all around
- Roxann G (8/5): Pet urine smell in room. - The room looks nice, but has a persistent smell of animal urine. My guess is the old carpet has been urinated on by pets many tiimes. If they are going to allow animals, they need to keep some rooms that are pet free. The air conditioner has visible mold in fins, so it was not an option to turn that on to help with foul smell. Staff here was amazingly helpful and other than the animal urine smell, the room and furnishings were nice.
- Fernanda Nena (10/5): - Beautiful quiet setting. Nice walk starts right behind the property.
- Jeremiah (10/5): - Very clean room , excellent staff that was helpful. only comment is that for me at least the signage and entry from the main road was easy to miss..
- Tom (10/5): - C
- Tony (10/5): - We were there only one night, but found the staff to exceptionally friendly, very clean facility. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will be back in the future.

- Ellen (10/5): - The lady in the lobby was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. They allowed pets so that was a big factor in choosing this Inn. It was also very close to the town for shopping and carry out food.
- margaret (10/5): - Loved the whole experience
- Steven (10/5): Excellent stay - The hotel was very nice, pool was very clean and water perfect! The room was nice, neat and clean, perfect setup, will not disappoint. Tucked away in the woods, across from the lake, just a few mins from town, we thought was great!
- DANA (10/5): - The inn was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and it’s only a few minutes away from the local shops and restaurants.

- Della (10/5): - Nice room. Bed hard
- rebecca (8/5): Would recommend it - Reception was great. The room was great. The bed was super comfortable, the only improvement I would suggest is a little added care to the cleanliness when it comes to a few cobwebs and mosquitoes coming in through the window screens. That being said, it was a minor issue however, I would stay here again.
- Shannon (10/5): - We had a great stay!
- Angela (6/5): - This is a very quaint, no frills, rustic place. Outside entrances to rooms, 2 story no elevator. Wall unit ac was noisy. Room and bathroom were clean, small but well appointed. There was an outdoor pool but we didn't use it.

- Ashley (6/5): - Through expedia states 24/7 desk service. No one at desk after 8am. Hotel staff was kind enough to call before closing and leave me a key to access the room

- Brian (10/5): - Book it Now. Room Bathroom brand new-clean. Staff was excellent. Definitely will return.
- carla (8/5): - A very enjoyable hike is accessed right on the property. The woodsy path goes up a small hill with a view of the lake. The room itself was nothing special, a bit pricy for the condition....but that is the going rate for this area. It and other similar properties were sold out. If available, I would suggest getting the top floor as you could hear every footstep of occupants above. The hike after a long drive made it worth it. Also, the woman at he reception was very friendly and welcoming.
- Kailin (10/5): - Check in/out was very quick and easy. Room had 2 beds, full bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, desk, and AC. Was a very quiet area but close to what I needed it for. Only stayed one night but had a good experience :)
- Peter (10/5): - Fantastic place!
- lawrence (10/5): - A very good value for this area, that has limited accommodations. The one reservation was the sound proofing between rooms. We could hear loud talking and a TV after 10 PM next door and opted for cotton balls in our ears.
- Kenneth (6/5): - Ok
- Shannon (10/5): - Absolutely amazing! Definitely stay here again!
- Thomas (10/5): - Great hospitality and a feeling of welcomeness. This property is close to hiking, Moosehead Lake, downtown Greenville and the Katadin.
- Margaret (10/5): Excellent, mid-budget, clean, well maintained - This property was very neatly and thoughtfully kept up. The two owners were themselves working there both in the business end and the housekeeping -- which was reflected in the quality. I hope to have another opportunity to stay here.
- Judith (10/5): Great Hotel in the Moose Lake Area! - Excellent hotel! The room had a cozy outdoor feel and was extremely clean - bed and pillows were comfy. And Brad at the front desk was excellent - so helpful with sharing info on the area (grocery stores, restaurants, etc).
- TJ (10/5): - Facilities were great with snacks and coffee provided in the office.
- Nicole (10/5): - Beautiful place. The rooms are a little dated, but they were clean and served their purpose. The man at the desk was so nice and helpful. Iv will be back.
- David (10/5): - This is a UNIQUE place, unlike the Hilton and Marriott places I usually frequent (I’m very sure that those and similar hotels are NOT in this area!!).
Moosehead Lake is beautiful in that “timeless” way, and this place is a welcome throwback to family vacations in 1950-60’s, and I’m glad to have found it.. and I’ve extended my stay !!
- Anthony (10/5): Amazing place and good location - The staff at the Moose Mountain Inn were amazing!! We enjoyed our stay so much, we asked if we get another night.
- Christopher (4/5): - My room was very dated but it was very clean. The bed mattresses are very old so comfort was great. My biggest issue was the walls are paper this and you can hear everything from your neighbors. I do mean everything.
- Marie (10/5): - Smoke-free
Cleanliness of rooms
- Edythe (10/5): - Good
- Matthew (10/5): - I arrived after office hours, but was still able to reach someone easily to check in. Excellent customer service.
- Allen (10/5): - Beautiful property and area
- Eric (10/5): - Super clean room and friendly service
- Dawn (10/5): - Very clean and close to all the activities around Moosehead Lake
- Matthew (10/5): - We knew we’re going to be late to check in so we called ahead. They were very accommodating with providing the room information. Additionally, this is a GREAT location to go elk & moose searching! 10/10
- Marina (10/5): - Awesome inn! Extremely happy that we chose it.
- Karen (10/5): Perfect room and perfect coffee - Owners were very accommodating and you have to try the free chocolate raspberry coffee!
- Paul (10/5): - The staff is very helpful and pleasant. Beds were comfortable.
- Anastasia (10/5): - Stayed here for the eclipse and the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and polite, great location to restaurants and a good view of moose head lake, definitely going back!

- Scott (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable.
- Kristine (10/5): Snowmobiling - For a place that caters to outdoor enthusiasts, it was in great shape and super clean. Perfect location. Can snowmobile from the parking lot! 😀
- Ketil (10/5): - Perfect place for skiing. Warm and clean. Well located.
- Tracy (10/5): - Friendly staff, easy check in, beautiful place
- Jaime (10/5): - Great stay, very helpful staff!
- Robert (8/5): - Great little hotel to stay. With a beautiful view.
- Brad (10/5): - Staff was welcoming, friendly,
- Keith (10/5): - Matt was friendly upon check in and offered some options for food. Nothing on site which isn’t a huge deal.
- Charlene (10/5): Great place to stay! - Moose Mountain Inn was a great place to stay. Great location and easy to find. Rooms were pretty large and very clean. View was rustic but unable to see Moosehead Lake due to tree coverage. Would definitely recommend.
- Monte (8/5): No Bang for the Buck - We were on a trip for our 35th anniversary. The place gets quite a shine on the internet, but what we were expecting and what was there....this is a 100.00 a night hotel room, not for any reason is it worth $249..The room WAS clean, it IS a nice place to stay, but in no way, shape or form worth what we paid. If you aee a booking offered here for $120 bucks, do it. Anything more than that ? Keep Googling, youll find something
- Victoria (10/5): - This is a property close to the wilds of Maine and they’re all about it. Very moosey and rustic motel but comfortable.
