It was dirty, mould over windows, room had not been cleaned, was a security camera in are bedroom covered with a peice of paper, sheets were stained and had crumbs in, mattress were stained, also was not even proper walls they was boards.

• JoAnne (7/5): Get what you paid for, but atleast clean the shower. - Everything was so simple from booking to ringing & asking for a certain room. It was what you paid for. Me & my partner went for a 40 hrs break from home our son his partner & 2 children live with us, we were after some relaxation with out Grandbabies knocking on our door every 10 minutes. Loved that lidl was across the road & the local park & fields. Plus 100s of buses taking you into the city centre or a nice walk if you're up to it. Hairs in shower, we had to clean the shower before using it. Broken false nail on floor & empty vodka bottle in one of the bedside draws.

• Sharlene (5/5): decent price but reminds me of the phrase you get what you pay for. - Location was really good just a few minutes from the city The mattress on the double bed needed replacing, it was a spring mattress that was not comfortable and you could tell it was old springs made noises when you moved and springs dug into your body, the room although was big enough didn't have a table to put anything on, the wardrobe needed replacing and room needed a refresh then it'd be a lovely room

• mark (1/5): Filthy conditions, mould throughout, unacceptable response from owner - Nothing Unfortunately this stay was completely unacceptable. The hotel was in a seriously unhygienic state. There was visible mould throughout the room, a strong, unpleasant smell, and overall cleanliness was very poor. The bedding and surfaces were so filthy that none of us felt comfortable sleeping in the beds. We had to request a room change due to the condition of the first room, but the second room was not much better and still far below any reasonable standard. I have taken photographs which clearly show the issues. In addition, the property was being used as temporary accommodation for long‑term residents, which was not disclosed at the time of booking. Had we been aware of this, we would not have chosen this hotel. When I raised these concerns with the owner the following morning, his only response was “well you get what you pay for”. This was extremely unprofessional, especially considering we paid £253 for three rooms. I would strongly advise future guests to be cautious. This hotel does not meet basic cleanliness standards, and customer complaints are not taken seriously.

• Glenn (4/5): Disappointing - Friendly staff ,very helpful Ahh, we're to start . The hotel is dilapidated and in serious need of renovation carpets filthy walls stained and marked throughout. The room itself mirrored the rest ,walls all marked skirting boards and doors yellow, but we're originally white just goes to show when it was last painted.. Television plug on wall dint reach the socket, so an extension lead was required to use it . Blind in bathroom falling down Kettle in room full of scum in bottom ,black bits floating in water when boiled Shower is death trap no matt in shower, very slippy . Shower curtain and rail all rusty .. Hard to believe no ones checks these things ,out prior to having guests 😕. Walls made of paper two sleepless nights because of rowdy guests in room above and next door . Overall cheap and not so cheerful 👎

• Lynne (5/5): You get what you pay for! - The staff were pleasant and helpful. Bed was fairly comfortable. Place was old, shabby, but fairly clean. Room was tiny; a double bed was squished in where a single would fit, thus giving no room to squeeze past the bed.
• Denise (2/5): If you want a clean and comfortable stay, do not book this hotel. - The staff was friendly and polite Booked a double room and it was the size of a broom cupboard. I’d dread to think what the small double was like. The bathroom tiles were slippery and all broken with some lifted, the window was so dirty you couldn’t see out. The bed was really uncomfortable and appeared to be like a fold out bed. There was just one tiny hand towel to use between 2 adults. The WiFi did not even show up so I couldn’t even try to connect. It was also very noisy from other guests knocking on doors then slamming them every few minutes all evening. Then women very early by other guests as the walls are so thin. The whole hotel is run down and dirty. Definitely not value for money.

C’était pas en salle de bain, c’était un toilette avec un évier dedans et c’était hyper sale et puis parterre des poils partout et de la poussière car ça n’a pas été lavé depuis deux semaines. Dans la chambre, il y avait un mur de Placo, qui n’avait pas encore été jointoyer. Des taches pour les lit. C’est pas un histoire de petites bêtes, c’est vraiment dégueulasse et cet hôtel devrait fermer. Que c’était sale.

The room was passable for one night but no longer. Bathroom was a bit shabby & the room could have done with a spruce up. It was probably worth £40 per night tops for a one night stay.

When we got back at night there was someone a sleep on the reception couch. The room was disgusting and the bathroom has mold. We could not close our blind as it was broken and we were on the ground floor, so anybody could look in. we struggled to lock the door. you advertised a garden. it looked more like a rubbish dump. there was no parking available.
