- Claybone (6/5): AC in Tucson - Not So Cool - Right in the heart of Tucson, the AC has a great location, but the experience fell short overall. The Peloton bikes were out of order, and when I asked about them, I was told the necessary parts had been on backorder for months. There was also a power outage during my stay (not the hotel’s fault), but even after power was restored, some things still didn’t work - most notably the TVs, which remained unusable till I checkout 5 days later. Additionally, my room didn’t feel particularly clean, which was disappointing. On a more positive note, the pool area is nice, though the pool itself is quite small. The bar and lounge area stood out as a highlight and was a much more enjoyable place to spend time than the room. Overall, despite a few positives, I can’t say I had a great experience.

- danahF8262RR (10/5): It's a home away from home! - I stay here each year during one of the Tucson Gem Shows. My stay is usually 2 weeks or longer and I don't get homesick. It’s an amazing hotel surrounded by fun things to do and delicious restaurants. The best part is truly the staff! They make me feel as though I’m a personal guest in their home. Anytime I see a staff member, from maintenance & housekeeping to management, they are always so friendly. I’ve never walked into the lobby without somebody at the front desk to welcome me or to say good morning. Some of the smiling faces at the front desk are Cassey, Len, and Marilyn. The bar usually a small group gathered with fun conversations – 2 of my favorite bartenders are Dominic & Christina. They have a fantastic rooftop pool, and the rooms are always kept clean & impeccable. Because it's surrounded by exciting night life, it can be a little noisy on certain nights, but the hotel manages it well. The rooms are surprisingly quiet, and I get a good night's sleep. The value is unbelievable and I'm already looking forward to my next stay.

First impression here was similarly good - clean, pleasant, centrally located. Was in town for the week for work. Great. Thursday rolled around... some noise from a club nearby. Nothing terrible. But FRIDAY? Pounding bass, dance music circa 2011 that didn't stop til 2am. No warning at check-in but the foam earplugs on the nightstand should have clued me in. (Since read reviews saying the same thing - they are NOT lying.) Boss is asking if we want to book our team here for next year and it'll be a hard pass. I can deal but my boss/superiors? No way. Can't bring them here with this. Really unfortunate.

- Gregory (5/5): The worst experience in a hotel ever! - Nicely decorated. Top notch front desk staff. The hotel is next to a nightclub. From around 10 pm until 2 am the music was incredibly loud. I was on the 6th floor and it was truly unbearable. I stuffed my ears with Kleenex but that wasn’t helpful at all. The reverberation and the bass made it feel t like the building was actually vibrating. Add to that the noise of the people. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the country for over 50 years and this has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had. The City of Tucson needs to have some sort of noise control ordinance. I was going to stay two extra nights but no way would I subject myself to that again. I don’t know how the hotel can even operate with this nightclub next door. I was told when I checked in that there would be some noise from the nightclub but my room was in a quieter area and it should be fine. It is after midnight and I can’t believe that I have been subjected to something like this. It’s as if I am right in the middle of the nightclub!

- bryanhH6921PS (10/5): Did the trick! - Stayed here on a Thursday and Friday night. I chose this hotel in part due to its proximity to the train station (less than a five minute walk.) The gym was roomy, but limited as far as machines go. I used it three times during my stay, and it was never crowded. The gym floor needed cleaning. The buffet breakfast started at 7:00 am, and while offering the usual fare, they also did eggs to order. My room was an accessible room, and the flooring in the bathroom flooring had come up a bit due to previous water damage. My room was clean. , and housekeeping did a good job refreshing my room . Overall, my room was quiet, and early check-in was honored by staff.

- GattoViziato (10/5): Relaxing evening - I had the opportunity to stay here on business and was pleasantly surprised. The hr hotel has a great lobby with outstanding service. My room was spacious and a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. When I saw ear plugs near my bed I was concerned but fortunately I was able to have a great night sleep. Overall good stay

Il y a un bar juste à côté qui fait jouer de la musique forte beaucoup trop tard en semaine (après minuit). À éviter si c’est pour le travail, surtout la chambre #645 sur le coin. Déjeuners trop chers pour ce qu’il en est (21US$) et service ordinaire.

- Renee (10/5): - This property is in a perfect spot to park and car and walk the Streets of Tucson. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The pool area was outstanding located above the city and very clean. We give you a 10 and will definitely return.
- harris (6/5): - Everything was great except the incredibly loud club underneath our room - and we were on the 8th floor - that blasted music until 2am. After it stopped, because I ofc could not fall asleep until it stopped, then cops had to come blaring sirens and yelling on their megaphones telling people to leave. Got no sleep. I should have known that the earplugs next to my bed were a bad omen. Just wish we had been given any advance notice so we would have requested a room on other side. Other than that, I would have given 5 stars. We will not be back…

Everything is near, lots of restaurants and bars around, I just did not give it five stars because they don’t tell you that parking is 25 dollars daily until you get there. Other than that the hotel is perfect and the staff is friendly.

- V2835XZjays (4/5): Nightclub Nightmare - The reviews about the loud music are spot on. I am sitting here in my room on a Saturday night expecting another poor night of sleep as the music thumps away. The responses from management minimize the situation by stating the hotel is just in a vibrant area. The more accurate description of the setting is that the hotel directly abuts a very large rooftop nightclub which is elevated 30+ feet in the air and opens up to the north wall of the hotel. There was no mention of this at check-in. Regardless staying here again is a non-starter.

- NapaLover2023 (10/5): Lovely Stay at AC Hotel Tucson - We loved this hotel! We weren’t sure what to expect but we chose to stay here based on it being part of the Marriott family. I have nothing but good things to say! All staff was helpful and professional, despite my many questions and requests for extra water, coffee, etc. There is a quiet elegance about this hotel. It’s very clean and comfortable. There’s a nice bar on site. Also in walking distance to many restaurants, lounges, and shops. The pool was a godsend on such hot days in early July! The beds were perfect and I love Marriott pillows, no matter what property! Just outside, a little down the street, is a free streetcar and you can get around for shopping or whatever you want. We loved our stay here! Full disclosure: we were here Monday through Thursday so I cannot speak to anything that might happen on the weekend. One tiny suggestion is to include a small breakfast of some kind in the price of the room. Even a breakfast sandwich would work. This doesn’t take away from my rating though, because we loved this hotel.

- FS2003 (2/5): Nightclub noise makes sleeping impossible! - This hotel should have to disclose the blaring open air bar/night club next door with music still pounding at 1:16AM on a weekday. This is ridiculous and I will never stay here again. I’m here on a work trip and need to be at my best tomorrow but here I am at 1:16AM listening to crap music and a variety of sound effects I can’t even describe. I’ve never been this disappointed or had such an awful night sleep at a Marriott. Don’t stay here!

Went downstairs to talk to the hotel desk told them about stink. They said they’ll deal with it. came back about three hours later and still smelled but somewhat dissipated. Left for three more hours came back still smelled. My wife didn’t want to change the room because she doesn’t like to be a complainer and we had good view,so I said OK. Will not return.

- J7051GZchristiana (2/5): POVERTY, LOW-CLASS "MARRIOTT" - AC Hotel can be summed up in one word: disaster. As a Marriott loyalist, this was by far the most disappointing experience I've had. The complete lack of customer service, unprofessionalism, and disorganization was shocking--especially for a Marriott property. Shame on Janelle Espinosa Garcia's leadership for making Anthony Capuano look terrible. When I walked in around 1 am, I was met by a group of staff members who didn't even acknowledge my presence. Their uniforms were disheveled, and they were casually leaning over the front desk like they were lounging on their couch at home. Phones were out, smirking, and the smell of marijuana lingered in the air. I didn't care about the pot, but the staff certainly didn't seem to care about their jobs. I explained my situation and mentioned the available rooms online. The staff member at the front desk responded with, "Man, I don't even work here. I mean, I'm head of security so I guess I do work here." After that, another staff member walked out and was pointed to as "the real guy." Before I could even finish my request for a room, the so-called Head of Security interrupted me with "Oh, yeah, we can't do that. The system is resetting," and just left it at that. No apology, no assistance, and no resolution. I ended up parking my car myself while the valet staff just stood there doing nothing. This hotel has the facilities, but its staff clearly doesn't know how to manage them. Marriott, take note: these men do not deserve their jobs if they can't handle basic hospitality. If AC Hotel hopes to succeed, they need to overhaul their staff training, enforce proper conduct, and emphasize basic professionalism. This hotel is the worst place you could even consider if you expect service, respect, or basic competence. tldr: Poverty, low-class accommodation and "service".
- Alexandra Veronica (2/5): - When we arrived, the key did not work to the room, but after they change the key, it was actually the battery to the door lock. Then when we walked in the TV was not working and the maintenance man had to come in and fix it for about 30 minutes After that people next to our room we’re fighting at three in the morning and you could hear horrible, screaming, and I had to call the police the security came down and took the person who was causing trouble, but it also woke up the kids over all it is a clean place to stay at and the area is right in the middle of downtown and there are clubs surrounding the property, so it is no surprise that it was noisy, but there is a lot of security and there is no way that anyone can go in and hurt you so that is also a plus the coffee was terrible

I worked for the Marriott franchise in the early 2000s and know the training that goes into making the staff and hotel enjoyable. I love that I can just walk downstairs and get whatever I need. Karaoke on Saturday nights is fun and the pool area is peaceful
