• Tina (3/5): Disappointing - The bed itself was comfortable, except for the waifer thin pillows We booked online, knowing we would not arrive until late in the afternoon. When we arrived, we were told our room had been given to someone else and they had to put us in the last room down the end. Room 25. The floors were cobbled together and a trip hazard where the tiles met the very scuffed floor. The bed kept rolling away from the wall, making it difficult to sit on, as there were no chairs in the room. The curtains wouldn't close to block out the bright lights and weren't wide enough to do so. The bathroom had a tiny corner shower with the drain on the outside, so water had to drain out through a hole in the base, directed with some poorly applied silicone, and resulted in flooding the bathroom floor and anything unfortunate enough to be on it. It did have great water pressure, though. It was an extremely disappointing experience, and this particular room should not be available to guests without much needed improvements. For those wishing to have breakfast, there was a good variety of bread, cereals, and spreads available and the breakfast room.

• Teresa (3/5): No stars. Won't stay again. - The bed was good, location was okay, aircon heated the room. The drain in the bathroom emitted a bad smell that just wouldn't go away. The toilet wasn't secured - it rocked when you sat on it. Also, there was no hot water. There was a sign telling the guest to be patient - but it took 20 minutes before the water hit just above tepid.

• Chanelle (6/5): Comfy and quiet. You get what you pay for. - Staff were friendly. Check in was easy. Bed was comfy. Everything you need for just being in the room to sleep. Shower was either piping hot or freezing cold. The room was so tiny you hit your knees on the bed when you walk in the front door.
• Rebekah (2/5): Not enjoyable at all. - The room looks nothing like the photos, I honestly don’t know how the shower is compliant, the drain half in the shower and half out which causes it to leak all throughout the bathroom, they have used silicone to try and get the water into the drain but it doesn’t work. The tap on the basin was loose and unsafe, under the bed was filthy. I guess you get what you pay for.

• Lee (4/5): Very average - Location for the places we needed to travel to. Room stunk of cigarette smoke. Air conditioner didn’t work. Half the Tv remote buttons wouldn’t work. Rooms were so tiny we barely had room to put our suitcase down. Curtains didn’t open either to let light in, they were stuck. Breakfast was included, toast or cereal was the only option. Made a cup of coffee from the urn & and it tasted like plastic.

• Meg (3/5): Couldn’t wait to leave. - Small grotty room. The shower drain was weirdly half in half out of the shower and as a result the shower drained into the bathroom flooding it and the room entrance area. The room smelled damp and musty. Poorly appointed. Nowhere to sit. Run down motel.

• Kristy (3/5): I would not recommend staying here. - The person behind the front desk was polite. The location was great. The room needs a good deep clean. Under the beds are terrible and there was someone's left behind sock. The skirting boards are disgusting and I'm one place, on the wall where the single bed is, there has been something spilled and not cleaned. The shower needs a good clean. The scum at the bottom is gross. The air conditioner didn't work. There are no screens on the windows so can't keep the bugs out. The fridge froze everything we put in the fridge. It was only on 2/6. Lastly, there were cockroaches in the room. The price of the room definitely did not match what was expected.

• Jennifer (7/5): Basic. Clean. Good location. - Good value for money. Located between the Big Golden Guitar and Peel Street (main shopping street). Clean, basic, had a continental breakfast included. It’s a little bit tired & could do with an update……but nothing that would make you complain.

• Gregory (1/5): We mulled over the property for an hour before deciding to simply leave and seek other accommodation - There was nothing about this property that was worth being positive about. The location of the property was "outskirts" of Tamworth. The "continental breakfast" was dried and stale cheap breakfast cereal contained in greasy plastic containers and the dining hall smelled "musty". The buildings were rundown. Reception conveniently did not seem to have a grasp of English at certain points. The property seems to be also used for emergency accommodation for those less fortunate; which is fine, but not what you expect at a hotel. The advertising pictures of the property on b.com do not match anything that is real. If all the above is your "scene" and you like a "No Country for Old Men" vibe, I recommend you stay here.

• Kimberly (1/5): Travelling with my husband and 9yo daughter. Now we have stayed in some rough places. We pulled in and I took a deep bre - Nothing. The property looks nothing like what is advertised. Extremely small. Outdated. There was a smell in the reception area. Broken a/c vents. Something splattered over the ceiling - was trying to pass off as paint. Completely unsatisfactory!

Smell in the room 18 , we stayed in room 19 the night before and that was fine . Paid $170 for 4 people in family room 19 on Thur . Then paid almost $300 for 2 people on Friday & sat night room smelled big wet patch on the middle of the floor , walked in it was sticky & discusting 🤢. Needs renovation curtains don't close properly, very basic nothing like the pictures, breakfast continental toast , cereal juice nothing exciting in a unloved room .

• Denise (5/5): Cheap and nasty really. Won’t be back - The staff were nice but that was about it Some shoddy work on the plumbing. The bed squeaks every time you moved. I felt itchy but that might be just me. It said online that there was a bar but the bar was empty 🤷‍♀️

• ronnyd (4/5): Ordinary at best - Firm bed and close to food places The shower curtain stuck to you , the bathroom sink didn't drain and the carpet was full of bindies sticking into our feet . The toilet tap had been turned off so it didn't flush until we worked that out

Otherwise disappointing. - The location was great for our needs You had to turn the water on in the shower at least 5 minutes before you wanted a shower. The bathroom sink didn’t get hot water unless the shower was running hot. The bed was so close to the wall on one side you had to crawl in from the bottom. There was one chair for two people.

The pictures make the room look modern, but - It was clean and you got complementary arnotts biscuits It is very old. The bathroom is very dated. The sink looked like it was coming off the wall and the frame of the shower ran over the top of the drain. The taps leaked. The beds are double beds not queen.
