Front desk is very kind they speak English. They helped us to book taxi from hotel to train station. Will also guide you on tours. Will surely come back again if we come to moscow. - H7411FPnataliak (4/5): What I didn’t like - Hello! I have a long reservation at the Arbat Hotel. Please take my complaint against the parking attendant: 1) once he asked permission to walk with me to the subway. 2) today he called me "you" - in familiar Russian manner and went up with me to the floor in the same elevator without my permission. All this took place in the hotel lobby. No one from the staff made a comment to the parking attendant. Why is the parking attendant in the hotel and says he's doing a tour? They have two type of rooms, old ones and refurnished, I have seen both and chosen the modern, I think 10% difference in price is good for better conditions.

Location of Arbat hotel is really perfect, and it takes just several minutes to get to the metro. besides, by foot we had a perfect walking to the Red Square. The breakfast is good, as we expected, Internet connection is fast and stable.

- from_Quad_Cities (10/5): Off-the-beaten path but excellent - The Arbat Hotel is close to Arbat Street and its attractions but located on a quiet side street. The room was comfortable and cleaned well each day. I was there in March when the hotel didn't seem very busy. Definitely would recommend it.

- Alexey (8/5): Удобный отель для прогулок по центру - Очень удобное местоположение. Метро рядом, погулять по Арбату и вообще по центру в шаговой доступности. Номер очень понравился. Чисто, вид на улицу на МИД. Соседей не слышали. Завтраки могли бы быть и поразнообразнее, но голодными ниразу не остались. Номер просторный. Для нас это было важно, так как проживали всей семьей - 2 взрослых, 2 ребёнка. Единственное, лоханулся со стоянкой. Заплатил 3000 р за двое суток, а оказалось в праздники можно было оставить авто на улице бесплатно. Спрашивал об этом на ресепшене, но сотрудники решили умолчать об этом. Хотя может и сами не знали. Напротив отеля весьма неплохой и недорогой ресторанчик Арбатский базар. Вообщем неплохой отель. рекомендую, если хотите погулять по центру

Das Frühstücksbüffet hatte eine große Auswahl mit diversen warmen und kalten Speisen.Die Lobby ist sehr gut ausgestattet und das Personal war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war sauber und wurde jeden tag gereinigt. Nur die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist etwas veraltet. Wunderschöner Wintergarten:) Klare Hotel Empfehlung!
- ALEXEY (2/5): ПОЛНЫЙ ОТСТОЙ - Заказываю этот отель во второй раз. Первый раз остался доволен поэтому решил заказать во второй раз... и дальше полное разочарование. Проблемы начались еще на стойке регистрации когда мне предложили доплатить 4900 руб. за завтраки для детей мотивируя это тем что якобы они думали что я приеду с совсем маленькими детьми и не учли стоимость завтраков хотя при бронировании я указал возраст детей . После того как я заплатил дополнительные 4900 руб. мне дали номер на втором этаже хотя я просил этаж повыше. Увидев номер с грязным ковром и старой мебелью я еще больше разочаровался . Нужно отдать должное персоналу что через два дня мне предложили переехать в другой номер но посмотрев на варианты предложенные мне я понял что нет смысла менять шило на мыло . Но самое интересное это завтраки. Прихожу в первый день на завтрак а мне говорят "Вы не оплатили", иду на стойку регистрации выяснять , после выяснений говорят "извините,ошибка,ресторан к нам не относится", на второй день тоже самое - прихожу на завтрак - "вы не оплатили", начинаю возмущаться, после нескольких минут выяснений - извиняются. Теперь на счет самого ресторана... Если приходишь не в 7 утра а скажем в 10 - нет ни тарелок ни чашек ни еды, просишь персонал принести - говорят еда закончилась,повар не успевает готовить, один день даже не позавтракал, просидев 20 минут понял что еду уже не принесут вынужден был уйти и завтракать в ближайшем ресторане, на стойке регистрации сказали -"что вы хотите,ресторан к нам не относится"

There are many restaurants and souvenir shop near the Arbat Street and new Arbat Street. The room is very big. However, the bathing tub is too small and I also hit the glass doors when having bath.

- Pavel (6/5): Review. - The hotel is located in the center of the city, near Arbat. It could be the best hotel of this type in Moscow. The breakfasts are excellent, the receptionists are very cultural, especially Nikita and the guy who was standing at the door. Their English is good. What is not high quality? The waiters are not smiling, their stone faces are scary. The shower doesn't have shelves. Besides, our gift to our friend has been stolen, because our suitcases were not locked. The advice: always lock the suitcases. I wish this good hotel all the best. Thank you!

- goodie808 (8/5): Good location and large, clean rooms. - The hotel is in a good location. 10 minutes walk to the (excellent) Metro. Walking distance to The Kremlin and other sights. Good buffet breakfast too. Recommended.
- Georgii (8/5): Рядом с Арбатом - Отель удобно расположен в центре города, рядом с метро Смоленская, недалеко от Арбата. Рядом расположены несколько заведений общественного питания на любой карман и вкус (от Му-му, Мосбурга, Теремка и до восточных ресторанов и ирландских пабов). Отель "пахнет" восьмедисятыми. Чем-то напомнил "Космос", только не такой большой. Двери, паркет, ковры, позолота - все из той эпохи. Итак, номер брался на одну ночь, для командировки, по скидке (4500 вместо 10500 рублей за ночь). Стандартный номер небольшой, с двухспальной кроватью и совмещенным санузлом. Коридор: + Много шкафов, куда можно разместить и вещи и чемоданы. + В шкафу: щетки для обуви и одежды, губка для обуви, тряпочка для обуви, тапочки. - Неработающий холодильник в шкафу Комната: + Бутылка минеральной воды при заезде (Куртуа, 0,5 л) + Удобная двухспальная кровать с нормальным матрасом + Хороший вид из окна + Несколько светильников и торшеров - Старый ЭЛТ-телевизор (20 каналов, часть рябит) Санузел: + Недавно замененная сантехника + Есть биде!!! + В наличии махровый халат, гель для душа, шампунь, кондиционер, мыло, шапочка для головы, гигиенический набор - Четыре разных женских волоса на полу и в душевой кабине - Душевая кабина ровно метр на метр - Вентиляция в санузле не работает Завтрак: + Стоит отметить в сырной тарелке сыр с голубой плесенью, а также наличие в фруктовой тарелке грейпфрута, ананаса + Практически дворцовые интерьеры зала с неплохим видом из панорамных окон.
- Ester (6/5): Good hotel; No WiFi in the rooms - The hotel is in a very good location, two blocks from Arbat Ulitsa. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. The room was clean but we had a free-standing, noisy air conditioning unit on the floor the first night. We requested a room change and one happened to be available with a silent AC. The hotel personnel moved our luggage quickly without a problem. The bathroom in both rooms was clean but you had to climb into the bathtub to shower, which could be a problem for someone with physical issues.. The room had internet connection but no WiFi. That was only in the lobby and dining room. That made the late evening a chore to contact people in the States.The overall experience was good but i would not recommend it to anyone who needs WiFi in the room.
