Showers located on the first floor (which was beyond awkward), the shared bathroom had no soap, the matters was so thin that I basically slept on the floor, the pillow was waaay too hard. - xolalpa (7/5): Good if u are going to sleep there and spend the full day outside - The place is nice, old but with all the necessary stuff. That they don’t give u a towel, and depending on where is ur room, it can be very difficult to sleep because of the noises of the metro next to the hotel.

- Lili (8/5): I'd recommend it, I probably would go back again too. - For the price as a solo traveler it's a nice place. I'm a woman also and had no issues. The bed is small but just has enough to sleep and be comfortable alone. It was clean and comfortable, but nothing fancy of course. The place of the hotel was also very close to dotonbori, with the train station being right outside even, so it was in a good place. I didn't spend much time in the hotel besides sleeping and resting and taking a shower, so there wasnt anything particularly bad.

- Eusebiu (5/5): Decent place to crash in for a few days, not recommended for a long stay. - Very good location in between Shin-Imamiya and Dobutsuenmae stations which gives you access to JR lines, metro and airport express. Free water refills and kitchenette. At least one of the receptionists was fluent in english (I tried my best in japanese with the others), the stay was cheap. Towels are tiny, bring your own. The laundry room just isn't good, I had my clothes for two hours in the dryer (paid 100 yen every 30 minutes) and they were still damp by the end of it. Rooms also lack adequate soundproofing, if you get someone that snores loudly on your floor, well, good luck.

Ang the staffs are approachable and is quick to assist with the needs of their guests. You get what you pay for. It is a decent place to stay in but if you are someone who is particular and sensitive when it comes to sharing spaces this might get you uncomfortable with the setup.
