- Erin (8/5): - This Onsen is absolutely lovely with indoor and outdoor baths, cold plunges, and saunas. It is a public bath, however, and tattoos are not accepted. The rooms were very spacious, and the futon was comfortable. The rooms were quite loud as the building was slightly older and traffic and weather conditions could be heard quite easily. There were no private showers in the rooms, which was inconvenient as some of our party had large tattoos, and we did not find out about the no tattoo preference until we had arrived.

- Richard (8/5): A nice stay in an authentic onsen, with beautiful tasty and varied breakfast. - Breakfast was extensive, fresh and beautifully presented. The room was small but well designed and of high quality. Air con was set too high for us, but was able to be turned off. There were 3 baths operating, but two others were empty. The “outdoor” bath was enclosed with only some openings to the sky, and had no outdoor view as such.

- David (10/5): Great stay and awesome onsen. Bring a travel fan. - Awesome Onsen - friendly staff members - Excellent breakfast - free shuttle to the train station. The air conditioning is weak. You are not able to set a temperature, only turn a knob to low, medium, or high. We had it on high for two hours and it hardly lowered the temperature. They should have them set to cool since they knew we were coming. It was set to off.

- DemiCL92 (9/5): Kojohama Likeliness - The different heated water level definitely helps with allowing different guests to have appropriate onsen temperatures to their liking. Seafood quality was great as well There wasnt much food around except the 1 restaurant or the seafood market nearby. Of course it isnt due to hotel, but location wise was lacking that.

- DAEIL (8/5): - 노보리베츠 역과 거리가 멀지만 미리 연락하면 도착 시간에 맞춰 데리러 와주셔서 편했어요 외진 곳에 있다 보니 밤산책을 하지 못한게 조금 아쉬웠지만 대신 너무 조용하고 객실도 깨끗해서 좋았어요 온천물도 부드럽고 좋았어요 숙소에서 걸어서 5분 안에 조용한 검은 모래 해변이 있는데 여유롭고 좋았어요 체크인 할 때는 도착에 맞춰 데리러 오시지만 나갈 때는 오전에 한번만 운행을 해서 노보리베츠역으로 나갈 때 버스를 타고 나가야 했고 체크아웃 하는 날도 일찍 나가야 했는데 택시를 불러 주시긴 했지만 불편 했어요

- william tinge (7/5): - Nice onsen. I made a mistake and only booked for one person instead of a couple. Even though the room had 2 beds and breakfast was not included, they wanted to charge me an additional $240 CAD for our 2 night stay. After much arguing, they dropped it to $190 CAD. I had made the same mistake at the previous nights hotel, and it was no problem with no extra charge. I recognize it was my error and they were entitled to some form of compensation, but I felt their charge was completely unreasonable. While the hotel restaurant was good, there are no restaurants nearby. The hotel is situated on the side of the highway, surrounded by parking lots, making it pretty unattractive. Plus, the room was small, even by Japanese standards, but to be fair, that probably due my booking for one person. But there were 2 beds??

- David (7/5): Good for just a one or two night stay - The spa was exactly as expected. Room was a good size with comfortable beds. Good bathroom. Convenient for museum, bear park and hiking trails. The dining room is without atmosphere and there is no lounge for sitting around. The whole hotel is over heated and the "air conditioner" is only for extra heating so the room was too hot. Then with only a quilt on the bed it made sleeping difficult. Not one hook in the bathroom for hanging a towel!
- Dani Oliver (9/5): Absolutely stunning onsen hotel, but not in Noboribetsu central - Everything was extraordinary: good room, excellent staff, great and roomy toilet, and the cherry on top was the fantastic common area and the Onsen. I was sincerely impressed with the cleanliness. And it was all so quiet and peaceful. The location isn't precisely convenient for someone who doesn't drive nor fluent in Japanese. I did struggle to get there by public transport. I wish I'd known there was a free shuttle bus beforehand! The return to Noboribetsu station was great.
- すどう (10/5): - ホテルがきれい。1階のフロント、ロビー、お風呂、レストラン全て明るくて広々ととしていて、清潔感有りでとてもよかったです。客室は畳部屋。古くさい感じは全くなく、とても良い雰囲気のお部屋でした。ベッドじゃないから部屋も広く感じました。(広かったのか⁈笑)お風呂も熱湯、中熱湯、ブクブク、露天風呂と有りゆっくり入れました。サウナは苦手なので入りませんでしたが、水風呂はキンキンでした。 朝食も全部美味しかったです。手作り豆腐は特に美味しかった。心地よくゆっくりできたとても良いホテルでした。また泊まりたいし、友人にもおすすめしたいホテルでした。ありがとうございました。

- Sabine (8/5): Eine tolle Onsen-Hotel-Erfahrung - Wir sind mit unserem Aufenthalt im Kojohama Onsen Hotel sehr zufrieden. Es war ein authentisches japanisches Onsen-Hotel Erlebnis und wir waren die einzigen europäischen Gäste zu dem Zeitpunkt. Von außen ahnt man nicht, was sich Innen für positive Überraschungen verbergen! Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Der junge Mann an der Rezeption half uns mit seinem perfekten Englisch oft weiter und stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir haben uns sehr in die grüne und roséfarbene Onsen-Kleidung verliebt! Wir hätten so gerne ein Exemplar für Zuhause gekauft! :) Wir reisten mit dem Zug an (bis Kojohama Station, von da aus ca. 15 Min zu Fuß). Eine Bushaltestelle mit Verbindung nach Noboribetsu und Noboribetsu Onsen befindet sich direkt vor dem Hotel. Kojohama selbst ist ein sehr ruhiger, einfacher Ort am Meer. Es ist bestimmt einfacher, wenn man ein Auto hat und schneller die Umgebung erkunden kann. Es gibt einen Supermarkt und ein paar kleine Restaurants/Bistros. Wir aßen aber abends immer im Hotel. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Das japanische Frühstück war für uns eher nichts, weshalb wir uns im Supermarkt Croissant besorgten und am Strand frühstückten.

- Verified traveler (8/5): A good pitstop along the coastal area - Quite inconvenient that guests are required to take off shoes upon entering the hotel and store them in shoes locker. The room is spacious and clean.

They wiped the wheels if our luggage upon arrival and stressed use of slippers rather than shies - lockers available with keys once yoh took your shoes off. The breakfast was outstanding.

- Jpapi123 (10/5): Exceptional - Loved our stay, easy to get to the onsen from the station with the free shuttle transfer. The onsen was nice and clean, modern. You'll have to bathe naked but it was quiet which was very nice.

Les chambres de style japonais sont irréprochables, mais rien n’est fait pour encourager à profiter des chambres, essentiellement destinées à passe la nuit. Nous regrettons toutefois amèrement que le restaurant restreigne le menu du soir pour les clients étrangers à un ensemble de plats très convenus et classiques, alors que les client japonais ont eu droit à des menus raffinés et alléchants. Cette discrimination, alors que nous sommes de grand adeptes de cuisine japonaise, nous a paru insultante. Nous avons été hébergés dans d’autres hôtels-onsen de qualité dans lesquels nous avons été traités de la même façon que les autres clients. Une étoile de moins à la noté générale pour cette faute grave.

- RYOTA (10/5): - 2025年6月頭に宿泊しました。畳の部屋で予約したのですが全体的に綺麗で、トイレや水回りも綺麗でした。敷布団のマットがとても良く気に入りました。 温泉練も最近新しくなったみたいでサウナも含めいろんな設備が充実してました。地元の人も入られてるみたいです。 ホテルの周辺徒歩5分にセコマがあります。 レストランは今回素泊まりで食べていないので次回食べてみようかなと思いました。 総評すると全体的に接客から部屋、温泉すべて良かったです。普通にまた泊まりに行きます。

- Hazem (2/5): - Incredibly difficult to deal with when trying to modify reservations, even within the designated “changeable” period. To their credit, Expedia made an effort to negotiate a refund, but the hotel’s management remained rigid and unwilling to accommodate even reasonable requests. Customer service was dismissive, showing little regard for guest satisfaction. It was clear that policies were being enforced with no flexibility or consideration for circumstances. The area around the hotel is desolate and uninteresting, offering little in terms of dining or entertainment options. It lacks the charm or convenience one would expect from a well-located accommodation. I would not recommend this hotel in any way. The only redeeming aspect was its traditional Japanese breakfast, which was well-prepared and authentic. However, a single meal does not make up for the overall poor experience.
- Yasuyuki (8/5): - 朝食付きで2泊しました。すぐ隣にセブンイレブンがあり買い物には困りません。昼食は道路の向かいにある｢たっちゃん食堂｣で地元の鱈の白子やホタテ貝定食など海の幸を楽しむことができました。施設は部屋(トイレ付き)、温泉(鍵付きロッカーあり)ともに新しく綺麗でした。ただ、日帰り入浴のお客さんも多いので、時間帯によっては混みます。朝5:30からの一番風呂は快適でした。
- Xiao (10/5): - The hotel is very Japanese classic, you need to take off your shoes and store it at the entrance. Besides that, it is great! The staffs there are super friendly; The hot spring is definitely top tier, with nature spring hot water in. Room is also Japanese style, room is spacious and cozy. The only thing that need to notice is that the area does not have much public transportation or taxi services, you can ask the front desk to call a taxi for you, but need to prepare additional waiting time.
- hoyoung (10/5): 만족스러운 숙소 - 아주 만족스러운 숙소 처음에 객실에 샤워시설이 없어 놀랐으나, 온천욕장에서 온천과 샤워를 할 수 있어서 매우 만족했습니다. 또한, 아침 일본 가정식 조식은 간단해보이지만 정성스럽게 준비되어 있었고, 음식맛 또한 만족도 높은 식사였습니다. 주변에 번화가를 생각하지않고 노보리베츠 근교에서 휴식을 취하고 싶다면 매우 추천합니다.

It would be helpful for English speaking tourists (or those not familiar with Japanese food) Tim provide an explanation of the breakfast items. Some of the foods I did not know and I was not sure what I was eating. It all tasted very good!

- Wen (10/5): If you love onsen, this hotel is a must - The hotel is amazing. Love the layout and the onsen. There were 3 indoor pool and one outdoor. There are also other amenities for you to relax after dipping in the onsen. The location is pretty far away from jr station. Though they provide free shuttle service back and fro at specific timing

- Huijuan (10/5): - Beautiful, quaint onsen hotel. Peaceful and very clean. 7-11 just outside of the hotel. We did not use the onsen and lounge. Room is very clean and comfortable.
