- Hilde (8/5): Prima locatie buiten het drukke Taormina - De gastvrijheid en mogelijkheid om zowel binnen als buiten te ontbijten met een betoverend uitzicht. De vele tips die we kregen van Alberto maakten ons verblijf compleet. Dichtbij Castelmola. Er lekker gegeten bij Giorgio De hachelijke baan maar dat wisten we eigenlijk toen we een verblijf boekten boven op een berg.

- Sara (9/5): Great views, clean rooms , great choice for car travelers, close to Taormina - The views are fantastic, breakfast was big and diverse choices. The lower rooms do not have a view but are very nice and have a private patio with table and chairs. The tiny pool is clean and refreshing. Owner is responsive to texts and calls and friendly and helpful. Good restaurant on site. Secure parking close to your room. You may want to bring earplugs because on some nights, the onsite cats were quite loud for long periods.

Fix the problem of next door smoke going inside the room - The view from the breakfast is very good Room is comfortable and bathroom is clean and modern Our room neighbor was smokers and for some reason the smell went straight to the bathroom even with all windows closed. It was very annoying and disturbing. The next day when this neighbor was gone the problem was no longer here. Other topic is we had a garden view room : no garden here just the view on a wall cover of pictures to make it less horrible: nice try but doesn’t really make it garden view

Breakfast just outside the room, nice cappuccino with an incredible view of Taormina, the mountains and the sea. The room was just great! The drive to the location from Taormina is dangerous, just drive very slow and with day light and you will be fine.

- Dagmar (6/5): sehr schöne Lage - Die Lage ist wunderbar und das Frühstück fast sehr gut Wir haben gegen Aufpreis ein schöner gelegenes Zimmer gebucht, mit direktem Zugang zur öffentlichen Terrasse. Uns wurde auch gesagt, dass das Restaurant am 2.Abend für eine geschlossene Gesellschaft reserviert ist. Leider hat man uns aber nicht gesagt, dass dabei eine Band direkt neben unserem Zimmer Livemusik bis kurz vor Mitternacht machte. Ich finde, dass man und darauf hätte hinweisen müssen. Vielleicht wären wir dann bei dem günstigeren Zimmer geblieben, das etwas abseits lag. Die Angelegenheit wurde auch am folgenden Tag mit keinem Wort erwähnt.

- DAVIDE (10/5): Ho trascorso una sola notte nel B&b ma ne sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso. Quando sarò in zona spero di poterci - La camera è molto pulita e dotata di diversi comfort, il parcheggio privato interno è estremamente comodo. Il ristorante è eccellente! Alberto è un host veramente gentile e disponibile.

Didn’t get a reply from the host upon our arrival what was important for us (we’d been asking via booking) as we had a problem with another apartment before that one, when we also had not received any check-in information, arrived on spot & the apartment had closed a day before our arrival. Not the best location even with a car, can’t imagine how to get there without a car. So if you arrive same late as we, you will not find any shops or restaurants, but can have a dinner at a restaurant right there, what can be a solution. Prices are alike the average restaurant in Sicily, but the atmosphere is not that pleasant, from our point of view.

- Jean Michel (8/5): Beaucoup de points positifs dans l’accueil et certaines prestations mais l’impression désagréable d’avoir été trompé sur - L’accueil de Roberto, très serviable toujours souriant et à l’écoute pour les petits problèmes. Les petits déjeuners copieux, variés sont servis dans la bonne humeur. Les petites chambres sont le point faible : aménagées sous une terrasse et ouvertes sur une clôture de 3 m de haut toute proche. Elles sont si petites qu’une partie du mobilier est installée à l’extérieur (un placard, la table et les 2 chaises). La présentation faite sur le site n’évoque pas cette réalité : les chambres y sont qualifiées de petites mais le libellé fait comprendre « par rapport aux autres qui sont familiales ». Leur « standing » est de plus très inférieur aux aux autres chambres.

- Katharine (9/5): Very enjoyable. Thank you - Venere B & B was great value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. The terrace was lovely and we really enjoyed the views. The restaurant served a good variety of dishes which were prepared to a high standard. Great to be able to eat there as we didn't want to get back in the car. The breakfast was excellent too. The accommodation is outside Castelmola and quite difficult to find the first time. However, because you can eat a very good dinner there, the location worked well for us.

- Margit (1/5): - Unsere Abreise! Das Zimmer war furchtbar. Wir bekamen statt einem Superior Doppelzimmer mit Ausblick, nur ein Standardzimmer ohne Ausblick mit Gefängnis-Charakter. Sehr beengend und finster. Der Duschkopf im Badezimmer ist schon extrem in die Jahre gekommen, äußerst verkalkt und daher hat man keine Lust zu duschen. Das Frühstück war nichts Außergewöhnliches - wie hier manche schildern. Der Besitzer hat unsere E-Mail Nachricht, dass wir sehr spät anreisen (22:30), an den Mitarbeiter vor Ort nicht weitergeleitet. Bei unserer Abreise hatten wir noch ein sehr nettes Gespräch mit dem Mitarbeiter vor Ort und wir bekamen als Entschuldigung eine Flasche Wein. Das war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Keine Empfehlung von unserer Seite für diese Unterkunft.

- Karla (10/5): The best experience in the hills above Taormina. - Exceptional views, peace, quiet, excellent food in the owner's restaurant. Alberto is a great host, he does his job with all his heart, he is friendly and helpful. We had an early departure planned, so he opened the restaurant for breakfast half an hour earlier. The room was clean and tidy. There is parking available in the yard. We would come again. Nothing.

- Stephan (10/5): Zum Genießen! - Unerwartet! Eine tolle location vor großartigem Szenario. Terrasse mit Meer-und Bergblick. Ruhe und Qualität!! Alberto macht einfach einen tollen Job zusammen mit seiner Familie. Das Zimmer, ästhetisch und zugleich funktionell. Ein Pool, sehr gepflegt. Und das hauseigene Restaurant "Chicherichi". Alle Speisen waren sebstgefertigt. Muscheln und Spaghetti ein Gedicht, das Cannolo mit Ricotta und Pistazien und das Tiramisu jeweils der Hammer!! Dazu der hauseigene saustarke Rotwein Nero d'Avola.Frühstück hervorragend. Das gesamte Konzept oberhalb des nervigen Taorminas geht auf! Einfach eine Macht. Mehr als nur eine Empfehlung!!
- Ellen (8/5): Nice location and staff, be aware of room selection - The location and view is stunning. Having breakfast on the terrace is very nice. The breakfast is ok and coffee very tasty. We booked the small double room and sadly here you don’t get the amazing view as it is located below the terrace in front of a wall - we found this hard to see when making the booking so was a surprise to us. The room was very small and the bathroom had a sewage smell which with the one small window of the room was hard to get out
- Debbie (9/5): Beautiful view and vriendly staff - Beautiful B&B with stunning view. Easy and quiet, ideal to relax. Location is a 20 min walk from the village. Alberto took good care of us. Restaurant on the premises is very convenient.

- Frédéric (7/5): - Le petit déjeuner copieux et varié pris sur la terrasse avec la belle vue. La piscine. La possibilité de manger sur place.C'était très bon. La possibilité de garer la voiture. La propreté de la chambre. Par contre celle-ci était très petite,mal équipée( pas d'armoire,pas de chevets donc éclairage par plafonnier très désagréable),porte de la salle de bain qui frotte ++. La petite taille de la chambre et le manque d'équipements . L'absence de vue depuis la chambre. Même si l'établissement propose des chambres à des tarifs différents je trouve dommage qu'il y ait une telle disparité dans les prestations entre les chambres du haut et celles du bas . L'accès à l'établissement un peu périlleux.

- Iwona (8/5): - Piękny widok na Taormine i morze, ładne pokoje ( górne, bo dolne są czyste ale malutkie i bez widoku),czysto, restauracja na miejscu z przyzwoitą ale nie wybitną kuchnią, klimatyczna z fajnym widokiem. Basen- mały i niezbyt czysty, obiekt jest na uboczu, nie ma gdzie się przejść, daleko od infrastruktury- byliśmy na 1 noc, ale na więcej byłoby ciężko. Śniadanie przeciętne, ale jak na warunki włoskie to można powiedzieć, że nawet urozmaicone. Lepsze pieczywo dużo by zmieniło.

- filip (10/5): Toppie - Alles was zeer netjes . Onze kamer had zicht op de bergen en zee wat zeker een pluspunt is . Het is dicht tegen het historische Taormina wat een leuk is . Hou er wel rekening mee dat je zeker een auto nodig hebt als je deze B&B boekt . En de gastheer was zeer vriendelijk. Toen we de laatste dag een vroege vlucht naar huis hadden hebben ze toch gezorgd dat er een ontbijt voor ons voorzien was . Toppie . Ze zorgen dat je niks tekort komt .
