The location is fantastic - right opposite the pub, a lovely coffee shop on the corner. Ample street parking. It was a short walk to the marina and wonderful views of the Hawkesbury River. That my car broke down. :(

- Lucas (10/5): - Very comfortable and clean, we had an excellent stay.
- CATE (10/5): Quaint and cheap. - Positioned right across from a pub with good food and live music. Was promised gourmet coffee but there was only sachets of nescafe'. Luckily there was a cafe 30 metres away.
- Mark (8/5): -
- Graham (9/5): - Getting there by train from Sydney was enjoyable. Only a short walk from Hawkesbury River station to Brooklyn Motel. Our unit was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The Anglers Rest Hotel across the road offered great meals, and a friendly country atmosphere. Nothing.
- Leanne (7/5): We had a very enjoyable time in Brooklyn and we would definitely stay at the Brooklyn Motel again. - The location was perfect. It was comfortable and very clean. The decor was a little dated but that was totally fine.

- Leeann (10/5): Excellent value, great location & fantastic staff. - Excellent accommodation,
So clean, comfortable & great location. Tom & Marley are extremely friendly & helpful, we’ve had a wonderful stay. The motel is so homely & relaxed, we highly recommend staying here. Directly opposite a pub with great counter meals & handy to everything. Nothing
- Margie (8/5): Would definitely stay here again, we would ask for a balcony room next time. - Great location, friendly staffs, very comfortable king size bed and excellent spa, big TV in the right spot to watch from bed. Only negative thing was no opening windows, this may have been to block out the train noise as it was very close to station. We didn’t hear them at all. Aircon was wonderful though.
- Helen (8/5): Comfortable stay in Historic accommodation. - Location handy to the River Postman and local Pub. Spacious, well equipped room. Parking at front of property was a bit hit and miss.
- Richard (6/5): - There was no windows that could opened to let fresh air in.
- GIOVANNA (8/5): -
- John (4/5): No need - Doesn’t suit older people needs a good clean access of off the street not good
- Kylie (8/5): -
- Mark (10/5): Lovely town. Real country feel and values. Wourk definitely go back. - Location. Warm and friendly staff. Extremely happy with stay Nothing comes to mind
- Nicola (8/5): - Value for money, quaint feel to the place The Noise. Ground floor room looked on to street and was opposite pub
- leanne (4/5): - Location The bathroom needs a renovation. The air conditioner blows on you in bed. Terrible pillows.
- jane (8/5): Clean, convenient and charming. - A perfect place to stay when catching the riverpost boat the folowing day. All very comfortable, if a liitle dated, but the is part of the charm and character. The dining options were limited particularly on a Monday evening, but the Anglers Arms right opposite served us very well.
- Sue (8/5): - The location Nothing
- Sue (8/5): - The location Nothing
- Susan Carcoar (9/5): Brooklyn byways - Location us good, across the road from the Angler's Rest and next door to the Brooklyn coffee shop Steps from the street to access the motel.
- Gerry (9/5): Good value for money in a great location - Good value for money in a great location
- Margaret (10/5): A very comfortable and relaxed stay in a perfect location - Location was fabulous. Our room was quiet and comfortable and had everything we needed plus the addition of a spa tub Nothing. It was very quaint and the staff were very helpful and kind.
- Leonie (9/5): Great location, we would stay again - The room was spacious and bright, the bed was comfortable. The location was excellent and the room was quiet. The shower door didn't close properly so the bathroom floor became wet.
- Avis (10/5): Great place to stay clean and tidy - Excellent location and room had everything we needed No soap holder in the shower
- Mark (9/5): -
- Peter (9/5): Completely satisfied - Location suited our plans Nothing
- Garry (9/5): very pretty spot - The room was clean and spacious and contained a very large TV. The location was very good being a short walk to the waterfront and hotel was directly opposite for a meal. The walk getting back to the Motel was uphill but was not too steep as being the wrong side of 70 we managed comfortably.
- Vicki (9/5): - Great motel in a great little town. I’ve stayed here twice now and will again.
- Fiona (10/5): Loved it!! - The location was perfect and the room was cute and very comfortable!
We enjoyed our stay so much that we immediately booked for a few days in the new year.
Didnt see any staff other than the lady who gave us the key so cant rate that. A whole bed rather than 2 singles pushed together- but even so the bed was very comfortable!
- Ruth (9/5): Fantastic, cosy rooms. Clean. - Great staff.
Excellent facilities.
Comfy bed.
Good size shower.
So clean. Our ONLY complaint if you could call it that, the lights are not that bright.
- Jane (7/5): Idiosyncratic establishment - Suited our requirements
Warm welcome Dated

- ESZTER (9/5): It was a comfortable, clean hotel. I will stay there again. - Lovely little hotel. Very clean. The room was very spacious and had a lovely big balcony. It also had a spa bath which would have been good if I had more time. It was very comfortable. I highly recommend it! The WiFi was not reliable. It went off at times without notice and was unavailable for hours at a time. Not convenient if you're trying to work.
- Joshua (10/5): -
- Garry (1/5): OKAY . THEY NEED TO DO ROUTINE PLUMBING , NOT UP TO SCRATCH - The room next door had sewrage. There was gurgling noises coming from the bathroom in my room. The staff did not bother to do anything about it. When checking in staff were very rude. I won't stay here again. On leaving you leave the door open with the key on the table inside the room. Bad service.
- Kirsty (10/5): Comfortable and cosy - Nice room in a great location. The room, whilst a little old, was good. It needed a bit of maintenance with some handles and fixtures tightened...
- Heather (10/5): A lovely location and room in a desirable spot near the ferry stop. - The plunger coffee, nice Dilah tea and good biscuits and spa bath.
- Jill (10/5): - Fabulous location, a great spacious room with a great spa bath! Exceptionally clean! A great plane to stay to explore the area… we will be back! Would’ve been great to have a window to open, but really nothing we could dislike!
- JULIE FRITH (8/5): Great location. Everything you need. - Great location.
- Deborah (10/5): Excellent - Clean, close to Marina and eateries. friendly management.
- Susan (7/5): Pleasant place to stay with excellent access to transport and River Boat Mailman wharf. - Excellent location as it’s very close to ferry wharf, train station and opposite The Anglers Rest which has the best pub food. We arrived by car but there is parking close by. The staff is friendly and the owners evidently take great pride in their motel as it is thoughtfully presented and has extra touches such as microwave, toaster, cold water , organic coffee beans with a press and fresh milk in the room. Effective air conditioning in rooms, comfortable king beds and the heated towel rack is an added luxury.
We had two rooms one of which was an upstairs renovated room. The downstairs room had a shower accessed by climbing into a very deep bath which would be unsuitable for anyone with physical problems. Both rooms were very clean and nicely presented with a dining set in each and a lounge in the downstairs room as well. Only downside was the fact that there were no opening windows in either room which made them feel claustrophobic.
- Lyndell (9/5): Love this Quaint little hotel - The quaintness and locality
- Lani (8/5): -
- Kylie (8/5): - We had 2x single beds joined to make a double, which was uncomfortable as a couple.
- Lara Pulgar (10/5): Over my expectations - Furniture and cleanliness Everything was good.
- Eeva (6/5): -
- Tobias (6/5): - Smelly (room, towels). Some might not feel comfortable with it. No real windows to get fresh air.
- Penelope (10/5): -
- stephanie (10/5): A relaxing stay in a lovely, quirky motel, which had all the comforts for an enjoyable stay. - Perfectly located in the centre of Brooklyn village…a short walk to cafes, waterfront, river pool and bush walks…across the road to the pub.. N/A
- Jenni (7/5): -
- Geoffrey (9/5): -
- Arlene (6/5): - Location Rather not say
- Curtis (10/5): -
- Alexander (8/5): The stay wasn’t long enough and I will be going back. - A Nice tidy motel in a great location across the road from an iconic hotel with great food. Nil
