• RAOWDY (5/5): - Location was the only thing 😕 It's classed as a five star but nothing like a five star hotel location was okay however since transportation is cheap you're better to stay one of the recognized resorts instead which is 10-15 away facilities was average nothing seemed like a five star even the breakfast was cooked for the sake of everyday. Hotel is rundown needs a major revamp to make it a five-star the feel like a five star.

• Marion (10/5): Parfait ! - Un de mes plus beaux souvenirs au Vietnam. J’ai adoré cet hôtel et Phu Quoc. La chambre était magnifique et l’hôtel aussi. La piscine à débordement est incroyable, la vue est magique pour observer les couchers de soleil. La petite plage au pied du Seashell est très appréciable ! L’hôtel est très bien situé, près de supérettes, du night market et du centre. Le personnel du restaurant, cleaning & piscine est adorable! La réception un peu plus froide car très occupée vu le nombre de touristes au moment où j’y étais. Le petit-déjeuner a un énorme choix de produits. Bref j’en garde un très bon souvenir de vacances.

• Hang (10/5): Great stay and great service - Everything (room, standards, services) is adequate to the price you pay. We had a nice time and will return if given the chance. There is a laundry service that is a rip-off. There is no other word to it. We made 2 mistakes: we did not read the sheet for the laundry service carefully. I am vietnamese and talked to the clerk while signing it in a hurry for him. I had no glasses on me. Opposed to other hotels in Vietnam you get not charged by weight of laundry but for every garment on a long price list. We maybe had 2 kilograms of clothing and the price came to 1.400.000 VND after taxes. The staff informed me husband (not Vietnamese speaking, in English) about the price and asked if he wanted to cancel. He declined because we needed the fresh clothes and were not familiar with other services in town. That was the second mistake. Yes, we had 2 chances to not book this service. Given that we do not consider this incident in our rating (10/10). But nevertheless this is a rip-off if you rethink this. We had Dinner at the hotel restaurant for 3 people and paid around 1.100.000 VND. Put it in perspective: who deserves and actually earns more money: the maestro chef (they are truely great...) in the kitchen or the staff that puts my laundry in the washing mashine and irons it after drying? This is the first perspective. The second one is the pricing in Vietnam as a whole. We never paid so much for laundry and we visited many hotels. The next day we went outside and saw a laundry service right across the street. Later in the week they washed our clothes (this time 4 kilograms) for 60.000 VND in 5 hours... I really do not understand why this hotel needs this practice for their good hotel when everything else is so great. Why would they want to make money in such a miserable way?

The said it was fully booked. arrive at the hotel via taxi. there were 2 empty buses parked outside the hotel. The service was none existent. Breakfast was a free fo all. Had to find a table & ask someone to clean it. The noise people shouting at 5.30am which carried on for about 2 hours. The staff did absolutely nothing. Place is more like a hostel than hotel.

Das Hotel hatte ein Spielzimmer für Kinder welches gepolstert (auch an den Wänden) war und zudem echt alles denkbare an Spielzeug hatte. Also für eine Reise mit Baby ist dieses Hotel wirklich zu empfehlen! Es gab zu wenige Liegen am Pool

• Dhaivat (1/5): Definitely not a 5 star. - The hotel room was clean and situated at a city center. If you want to be near to Duong Dong night market it is walking distance however it is hard to find good quality cafes, shops and very few restaurants nearby. The breakfast area is extremely busy area and caters mostly to meat eaters. The quality of food was very basic not what a five star generally offers. While checking out of the hotel, Security guard at luggage handling was so rude. Even at reception few guys are very rude not polite at all & do not speak english. Please note if want a 5 star experience this hotel is nowhere close to that. It is like a 3 star hotel. We were with family of four and I wish I had booked a resort as resorts were available in nearly same price near King Kong mart. That is the best area to stay with lots of Quality cafes, shopping and eateries nearby. Be Careful Prior to check out - we are in situation where they have deducted money from deposited and notify us that item is missing. after two days when i have sent an email for deposit not been returned. Security Guard at Reception was very rude we have notified to management.

• She Ting (7/5): A comfortable and convenient stay with acceptable service, though a few basic aspects could be improved to better match - Overall, it was a satisfactory stay. The hotel’s location is convenient, and the complimentary airport shuttle adds to its practicality. Service was decent and met expectations for a 4 to 5 star property, though it didn’t particularly stand out. In comparison, my previous stay at Sunset Town at a different hotel left a stronger impression, with more attentive and memorable service. Breakfast was acceptable but fairly average, with nothing particularly memorable in terms of quality or variety. It was also quite crowded during peak hours. One downside was the limited provision of drinking water. Only two small complimentary bottles were provided, and additional requests were declined. Given the room rates of a 4 to 5 star hotel, offering more flexibility with basic amenities like drinking water would be a reasonable improvement.
• Selma (8/5): Bien mais peut être mieux pour un 5 étoile au vu du tarif. - Bel établissement, très bon petit déjeuné. Bel piscine, plage privée bof. Pour avoir fait d’autre hôtel 5 étoiles, comme le shells, la même chaîne d’hôtel j’ai préféré le shells. Déjà on vous demande 50€ de caution, on a fait plus de 8 hôtels 5 étoiles au Vietnam, aucune caution nous a été demander. Je suis venue séjourner avec mon mari et mon enfant de 20 mois, malheureusement mon bébé a cassé le goulot d’un savon posé dans la douche. Cela nous a être facturé 35€. Or que je pense qu’un pot comme ça doit coûter pas plus de 5€. Donc très déçu de cet hôtel, ça a enlevé tout leur charme, et donne l’impression qu’ils sont à l’affût de la moindre casse pour vous facturer. C’est inadmissible or qu’on a expliqué que c’est notre bébé qui a cassé sans faire exprès.

Great selection for breakfast The hotel must accommodate 800 guests but only have 45 sunloungers and only half of them have shade. You have to get up at 6am if you want a sunlounger with shade. People get up in the middle of the night put towels on then go back to bed. Should be told if you put a towel on you have to lay on it.

• Hennesy (9/5): - Seashells in Phu Quoc is a truly beautiful hotel that impressed me in many ways. The entire property is clean and well-maintained, and the location is ideal—just a few minutes away from the night market. A highlight is definitely the stunning infinity pool with a great view, as well as the clean and well-kept beach area. The service was excellent throughout, and everything met my expectations perfectly. I was even welcomed with a complimentary tea at check-in, which made for a very nice first impression. Another great perk was the free shuttle service to and from the airport. I especially appreciated that I received an official notice one day before my departure with clear details about the pick-up time and location, which made the whole process very smooth and well organized—overall a truly excellent service. One small downside is the noise level if your room faces the street. In the evenings, it can get quite loud due to passing cars and motorbikes. Additionally, upon my arrival, I asked for a bottle opener to open my soda bottles, but unfortunately, I never received one throughout my entire stay, which was a bit disappointing. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and more than sufficient, but I did miss having freshly squeezed orange juice. Especially for guests like me who are not big on breakfast and may skip it altogether, it would be nice to at least have access to a good coffee and a fresh orange juice. Instead, there was only a very sweet passion fruit juice and watermelon available. Another point I would like to mention is the deposit handling. The deposit amount that was authorized or charged at check-in has still not been released or refunded, even three days after my check-out. This is something that could definitely be improved, as a quicker release of the deposit would be more reassuring for guests. Aside from these points, everything else was to my full satisfaction.

• Rebecca Welsh (8/5): - Great location, large spacious room. Given the size of the hotel, there are not many pool loungers to go around, there are quite a few selfish guests (not hotels fault) that like to save the loungers but not actually use them. Beds are on the harder side.

Завтрак очень разнообразный, большой выбор блюд. Плохо работал телевизор, начинал зависать через 10 минут и так постоянно.

Aantal ligbedden is beperkt en niet voldoende om alle gasten te accommoderen. Hotel voldoet niet altijd aan 5 sterren standaard: 1e dag bij lunch: sorry de witte wijn die we schenken per glas is op. U kunt een andere fles witte wijn nemen of een glas rood. Op dag 3 was er nog steeds geen witte wijn die per glas geschonken werd.

This is a beach hotel, how else do you expect guests to dry their swimwear?

• Rennie13 (10/5): Amazing stay with an incredible sea & sunset view - We had a great time at Seashells Phu Quoc! The service was super friendly and professional, and we were so happy to receive a fantastic upgrade to a sea-view apartment! The view was absolutely amazing and made our stay extra special. The location is perfect—very chill and relaxing, yet just a short walk away from the Night Market, which was so convenient for evening strolls and local food. Our only recommendation for improvement would be to provide more sunloungers and umbrellas on the beach. There weren't quite enough for everyone during t he day. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phu Quoc!
• IRWIN (6/5): Central and a very good experience. Well done Seashells. - Central, near the night market which was definitely a plus point. I would stay there again. Rooms had spectecular view if you face the sea. Breakfast which was a buffet was very good and the range was impressive. Also, we had tweaks to the buffet which was positive. Gym can do with better equipment but was adequate. My rooms came with daily massage which was pretty unique. Spa was okay but the massages clearly not as good as those in Thailand. Pool and the proximity to the sea was special and clearly a plus point. Staff could have been friendlier but were generally very accommodating for early check in and late check out. Well done Seashells. I stayed in a suite with the family but the room configuration wasnt very sensible. As a frequent traveller, you are used to having powerpoints to charge your devices and working laptops but the powerpoint sockets were only at the bedside table on the opposite side of the bed and work table. So didnt really make sense. The walk-in wardrobe was really too dim to see anything and when we gave feedback, they change the entire LED bulb to a much larger one which was good….but how come no one gave feedback earlier? I didnt like the Seafood BBQ and the a bit worried about the freshness of the raw sashimi.

Loved the fruit platter we got in the room and the special touch of a birthday cake on my husband’s birthday. Right on the beach and great view of the fishing boats and nice pool. ‘Fridge’ is a cooler - if you need to keep things cold you need to ask for ice. Shower door missing the plastic guard so water goes everywhere in bathroom. Only 2 bottles of water per day - not enough when it’s advised not to drink the tap water.
