Sapwell (8/5): Disapointed - Location Room door handle requires replacing. We couldn't get in on arrival and required assistance on number of occasions. Notified Holiday Paradise they sent assistance within hour. We were instructed to wriggle handle this way, hold key some other, in fact a difficult two handed operation and then it would after numerous attempts and much frustation open. This did not lead to a very relaxed trip. The door handle needs to be replaced - simple. One other issue, room suitable for 4 adults provided only 2 old mug style cups neither of which fitted under coffee machine. Otherwise good.

Maria (9/5): Great views, spacious apartment and very good location - Apartment is in a fantastic location, sea views, close to the beach, Woolis downstairs, bus stop close by and car park in basement. It was clean, minor things broken that did not affect us (bath tub, floor cracked in bathroom). Kitchen was well equipped, dishwasher was smelly and dirty but got cleaned promptly and also requested an additional blanket for my son. They had to purchase a new one and provided same day. Communication was via text or email only which was slow at times but we had those requests fulfilled when we needed them to be done. Key pick up and drop off was close by and they were happy for me to present ID and credit card at the office prior to our stay. We enjoyed our time there and would book it again. Elevators were slow at times as 1 was out of order.

Kids loved the multiple pools. I loved the gym. It was clean and tidy. The washing machine and dryer came in handy. Nothing I didn't like.

Picking up the key from another location was annoying. Kind of loud at night (Friday night in particular) but this was expected at this location.

Clean but stained. It needs maintenance to repair broken and damaged areas. I think this is more a reflection of the people who manage this room. Rest of the hotel was nice. Check in was also not easy. Not onsite at hotel. Privately managed room.

Fridge was not cooling properly, reached out and a technician attended and supposedly fixed the problem. There was an improvement but still not cooling how you would expect - several of our food (e.g. milk) went off. Basic utensils for cooking were missing (e.g. can opener, peeler, matching lids to pans).

Amanda (6/5): Would look at other options next time - The location was great and it was an ideal size for our large group The accommodation appears to need a good clean and update, the door on one of the bedrooms wouldn’t close/off the tracks. The kitchen seems dirty and bathrooms need some maintenance. We had to buy our own toilet paper, dish clothes, garbage bags as there was none. There wasn’t enough towels for 9 of us so we had to wash them to reuse. The dishwasher tablet dispenser wouldn’t close so couldn’t put the dishwasher on properly. The plates had hair on them which were in the cupboard so not sure if they had been washed properly or just rinsed and put back in the cupboard. For the price, I’m not sure it’s reasonable.

No tea, sugar,milk, salt, pepper. Did not enjoy having to fetch keys from office offsite, then finding right tower, finding where to park - it was exhausting!!

For the price you pay they dont even include any beach/pool towels or one wash worth of washing detergent. Very run down apartment with frayed blinds. No TV in bedroom, no airconditioning in hallways and elivators, stinking hot and smelly. Parking was underground and very confusing. Extremely dissapointing, we stayed one night out of the 4 nights we booked and paid for, ended up leaving ealry and staying at the star in broadbeach instead which was a million times better and half the price we paid to stay in this grubby apartment and they evne included breakfast and $50 dinign credit daily. The location is right in the centre of surfers which might seem great but its not, very busy and chaotic, would not recommend if your looking for a relaxing holiday with some quality. This apartment was expensive and grubby. Even thought we lost our money leaving and had to pay for another hotel it was worth it to stay at the star in broadbeach which was just amazing and saved the remaining days of our holiday.

Right in the heart of surfers paradise and everything you could need is accessible easily either via walking or public transport. Night life around the area is great too. Only gripe was the lockbox location was a bit inconvenient to find and the provided instructions could’ve been clearer.
Richard (10/5): Très bon séjour sur la Gold Coast avec des transports en commun nombreux et peu chers. - L’emplacement idéal (trams et commerces à proximité immédiate), le confort de la literie, l’équipement électroménager, la vue, le Woolworth au pied de la tour ! Le canapé qui mérite un bon nettoyage et l’obligation de récupérer (et déposer) les clefs dans une boîte située dans un passage peu évident à trouver lorsqu’on ne connaît pas la ville, à 4 ou 5 mn de marche de l’appartement. Très peu pratique quand de surcroît, il n’y a pas de gardiennage pour les valises et si l’on doit faire le trajet chargé ! Une boîte à code à l’entrée de l’établissement ou de l’appartement serait l’idéal.
