For service, the staffs were very nice and warm which provided kind assist. The only drawback was the little noise at night due to the railway. However it was small affect to me.

• HAEUN (10/5): 따뜻한 여행을 좋아한다면 꼭 마야를 선택하세요! - 아주 좋은 숙소였다! 라고 이야기 할 수 있을 거 같아요. 고베 시내 중심에서 조금 떨어져 있기 때문에 조용하고 고즈넉한 동네다라는 느낌이 있어요. 하지만 많이 떨어져 있는 것은 아니기 때문에 이동에 불편함은 전혀 없습니다. 무엇보다 스탭들이 모두 친절해요! 한국분도 계셔서 큰 어려움이 생겼을 경우 번역의 괴로움 없이 전달할 수 있을거에요. 하지만 대부분의 스탭분들이 적극적이시고 영어도 잘하셔서 꼭 한국어를 필요로 하지 않고도 대화하는 즐거움이 있습니다. 고베에 가게 된다면, 특히 혼자라면 게스트 하우스 마야를 꼭 추천해요!!

• Myungeun (10/5): 고베의 진정한 묘미를 알게해주는 숙소! - 정말 좋은 숙소였습니다. 많은 친구를 사귀고 싶은 분들도, 조용히 지내고 싶은 분에게도 모두 좋은 곳이었습니다. 혼자 조용히 지내고 싶어 선택하게 되었는데, 청결하고 조용하면서 서로 배려할 수 있는 분위기에 굉장히 편안하게 지냈고, 예상치 않게 함께 하게 된 게스트하우스의 소박한 프로그램으로 마련 된 로컬들만 알 수 있는 시장 투어와 롯코산 아주 짧은 코스의 트레킹 후 야경감상 하는 프로그램까지 정말 즐거운 추억이 되었습니다. 다음엔 여행지 선택으로 마야를 가는게 아니라 마야를 가기위해 또 고베에 가고 싶어졌어요.

• Verified traveler (10/5): たまに泊まるならこんな宿 - 設備の整ったビジネネスホテルやキャビンも本当に良いのですが、一人旅や友達との旅行なら、バックパッカー気分になれるこんな宿もたまにはいいんじゃないでしょうか。 ほかに例えるなら、グランピングのようなオシャレなキャンプ場に合宿で来た感じ。 宿泊者もバックパッカーな外国人が多く、自分が異国に来たのかと思ってしまいます。 もともとコミュニケーションが苦手な私でしたが、海外の方もにこやかに挨拶してくださいましたし、スタッフさんも話しやすい素敵な方々で、こういうところはコミュニケーションとらないとダメなのかなという気持ちがあったのですが見事に払拭されましたね。一人旅だったのでここに泊まれたことが1番の思い出になったかもしれません。 このようなところは初めてで緊張もしていたのですが、気持ちよくチェックアウトできました。 すぐ近くにはおいしいパン屋さんがあるので朝食は焼きたてパンを食べるのもおすすめですよ。 お部屋などについて。 バックパッカー向きなので、基本、パジャマや各種アメニティは用意しましょう。髪と体を洗うアメニティは備えられています。 建物の敷地が狭く縦長なため階段は急ですが、レトロな感じが楽しい。 シャワールームは共用のものと女性専用のものがあり、もちろん着替えスペースもあり鍵もかかるのでシャワールームで心配する必要はありません。 シャワールームを出てからの洗面台でのドライヤーなどは共用です。実際利用してみると、シャワールームは共用でも専用でもなんの心配もないなと思いました。 部屋の中はカーテンで仕切られています。大きめなリュックがふたつ置けるくらいの棚と、そんなに大きくないバックの入るセキュリティボックスが備わっています。コンセントも二口。灯りがランプなのでまるで屋根裏部屋か秘密基地にいるのうな感覚で過ごせます。最近はどこもありますがWi-Fi接続もできます。 キッチンでは外国人の方がいろいろな理由で食材を買い食事を作ることもあるのでしょうね。とにかくキッチンもカフェみたいにオシャレでどの家にもあるようなキッチンまわりの設備に食器類。なんでも作れそうです。

• Laura (8/5): Auberge de jeunesse avec lieu commun - L'hôtel est une auberge de jeunesse où la salle de bain et toilettes sont a partager. La propriété dans toute l'auberge est bonne. Attention toute fois aux escaliers, oui c'est une vieille bâtisse où les escaliers sont extrêmement pentus, le personnel est sympathique et vous propose même de monter ou descendre vos valises. L'auberge est situé à côté de 2 gares, de ce fait c'est bruyant, mais ils ont pensé à tout et vous offre des boules Quies, une petite attention agréable.
• DL (10/5): - My friend and I stayed here for the week after New Years. It was really, really lovely. The other guests were very friendly, and the staff were extremely helpful as well. The guesthouse itself is conveniently located (one train stop away from Sannomiya) and there's a supermarket not far away if you wish to use the guesthouse kitchen. The accommodations and bathrooms were comfortable, with female-only facilities as well. Guesthouse MAYA is a relaxing, chic place to spend your time in Kobe. Perhaps you'll meet some new friends too!

• Candis (10/5): Good place for a nights rest. - It was clean, simple, and exactly what I needed. If you have movement issues, don’t stay here as the stairs are steep and there’s no elevator. But the bed areas were comfortable, showers were big, and owner was helpful and happy.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Budget youth hostel 安く泊まりたい人向け - 元地元の診療所を改装したユース。2階が男性用、3階が女性用。共同シャワーは新しく清潔、お湯もしっかり出た。バスタブが恋しければ東に徒歩20分強、または六甲駅から15分強の銭湯灘温泉がオススメ銭湯なのに温泉の湯で、ツルツルに!　女性相部屋は2段ベッドが3列、身長158センチで中央では普通に座れて、壁によっかかって読書等可。ただ、枕元裸電球なので長時間の作業は目が疲れるかな。床が少しきしむのと、ドアのオートロックの音が静かな中では響く、阪急がすぐそばなので電車の音が気になる人は居るかも。。私はさほど気にならず。階段が急なのと、2段ベッド上ならハシゴで上がるので、脚、膝痛い人はちとしんどいかな？　大きな荷物はチェックインのときオーナーさんが運んでくれました。 Low budget youth hostel, about 4000yen per night, which is 1/4 of the price of common business hotels in Japan. Dorm for women has 3, 2 layer bank bed, where I was able to sit (158cm, middle sized). Shared new shower with hot water. my room mate we're all very quiet, so it was OK with me. 2 convinence stores at Jr Nada St. 1 near the hostel. Jr Nada and Hankyuu Ojikouen is close, less than 5 min walk.

• SEONG MI (8/5): 위치 상관없으시면 좋은 숙소에요 - 전반적으로 나쁘지않았어요 . 좋은편이었습니다. 저는 3층 6인실에 2층 침대를 썼는데 사람들이 걸을때마다 침대가 울립니다. 정도는 들썩 할 정도로 그 점이 제일 불편했습니다.
• Camille (10/5): Très chaleureux ! - L'auberge se situe dans un vieux bâtiment charmant, avec une ambiance accueillante et familiale. Les chambres sont confortables et les douches très modernes, et tout est impeccablement propre. L'hôtel est à deux pas d'une station JR, pratique pour les possesseurs du pass, et permet de rejoindre la plupart des centres d'intérêt en quelques minutes. Mais le gros atout restera le personnel adorable, qui nous fait sentir chez soi !
• jonathan (8/5): Great staff, ok location - Staff were extremely helpful, offering good ideas of things to do and places to eat. Room was clean. Facilities were modern. The location was near NASA station which is useful for the JR visa. Hostel is near a train track so it can be noisy until 00.30. Be careful of charges for late arrival and if you overstay the check out time.
