• Jane (10/5): I have already enquired to stay next year! That says it all! - Absolutely everything! The room was spotless, all the added extras shower gel, slippers, hair dryer was a nice touch. There was also plenty of clothes hangers which I loved. Fridge was a nice size. My balcony was so big it had sun loungers on it. The infinity pool was gorgeous and looked to the beautiful bay of Turunc. The breakfasts were lovely and staff went out of their way to help, even making omelettes when I asked. It was my 4th time to Turunc and easily my favourite hotel. It has a real charm to it and the staff were phenomenal! Nothing at all.

• Christophe (9/5): Séjour tranquille et reposant, une très belle vue et un accueil chaleureux. - La vue et l'accueil de la famille qui gère cet établissement. La tranquillité du lieu. Un des membres parle Français, un autre Anglais et les autres nous sont appris les mots de base du Turc. Rien. Cela dit il faut préciser qu'une voiture est nécessaire surtout si l'on veut aller à la plage quotidiennement. La distance n'est pas énorme : 2km mais de montagne : le prix à payer pour la vue. ;)
• Bárbara (8/5): Un lugar precioso para disfrutar de la vista al mar y montaña - La pileta con fondo infinita, mi habitacion y la vista al mar y a la montaña, el espacio verde. La amabilidad y simpatia de Daran y sus tios. Que no me dejaran usar la pileta despues de las 18hs en plena temporada de verano (me vinieron a sacar) y que en el desayuno no hubiera pan tostado y que la respuesta cuando lo pedi fue "tenes que pagar extra", y la musica fuerte a las 8 am. Aclaro que la persona que me informo de esto, fue una chica joven que no tuvo respuestas muy amables ni explicativas al respecto, por lo cual esas reglas me sonaron arbitrarias y me generaron cierto disgusto.

• Yagmur (10/5): A peaceful getaway - I’ve been solo travelling for months and decided to treat myself to a hotel and choosing stay here was the best decision I ever made. The room was super spacious and clean and the view from my balcony was gorg. The breakfast each morning was elite, with the staff making different menu items each day. My fav thing about the place was definitely the owners / staff. They’re super welcoming, friendly and open to helping out with whatever you need. Couldn’t recommend the place enough and can’t wait to be back!!

• Baurzhan (10/5): Exceptional - We had a truly lovely stay at Lavanta Butik Hotel. The view from the property is stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect escape for us as a couple. The beach is quite a long walk away, but the serenity of the place more than makes up for it. Ekrem Bey is one of the kindest and most welcoming hosts we’ve ever met. Definitely 10 out of 10!

Even to the extent of me asking if they had particular dessert during the day sitting by the pool and they didn't, but then been told later at night that he has gone out and picked up the dessert especially for us...Truly amazing.. • James (10/5): Astonishingly Great - If you're looking for a place where the Agean meets the Mediterranean, where Mama Mia meets Fawlty Towers and where the view from your room across Turunç Bay is one you'll never forget, then you'll know exactly what you'll be getting from the Lavanta and it is truly wonderful. Lovely clean rooms, comfy beds, kind service, a wonderful breakfast and an innocence that's irresistible in this overly complicated day and age. There's no high tech gadgets or 'form over function' design here, this is just a pure piece of holiday bliss. It's quiet and out of the way, a cab into town is £3. There are a lot of steps in the property but that's fine as it just adds to the character and charm of the place (although it may be a challenge for some guests). Some thing's work really well, other things are just a bit bent out of shape and quirky but that's what makes this place 5*. We absolutely loved it. We've travelled all over the world staying in boutique hotels from Bali to NYC, business hotels from Madrid to Sydney and outposts from South Africa to the Sahara but the Lavanta is just a simple, extremely special place that you can make all your own. Absolutely nothing. Don't criticise the place or the people, change your perspective and you'll love every moment. Take this place for exactly what it is, a really good place to stay that has tried so hard to make your stay wonderful and people that just want to 'give'

• Philipp (10/5): Nice and peaceful hotel with a great view and lovely hosts. - The view was breathtaking. As the hotel is higher than Turunc itself you see the whole bay and can relax like no other by just enjoying it. The rooms as well as the whole area were clean and covered in a Greek way. Ali and the whole crew were very friendly and helpful. They made the stay an even better experience. To get the full experience you need a car. But we rent one anyway when we‘re on vacation. Regardless Ali helped us getting to Turunc and also gave us recommendations.

• Erdal (10/5): Exceptional - My arrival at night was chaotic, but I was made very comfortable from beginning to end by the hotel staff, Mazlum. My compliments to the hotel staff Mazlum and his companion Ali. The concept (at least in my room) was refreshing blue and ecru, as if you were walking the streets of Santorini. The room was clean, spacious, and the shower/toilet were well-maintained. The place is windy in a very positive sense, which is ideal for sitting on the terrace in the evening and enjoying for hours. The surroundings also offer inner peace, something most of us are seeking. Breakfast: It's worth mentioning that they use organic local products like eggs from their poulailler and olives from there garden. The hotel also represents the tranquil spot of Turunç, with its beautiful clear sea, which is definitely worth coming again. All in all, Hotel Lavanta stands out from other Hotels during my trip. For the beach you have to take a car/bus/taxi.

Great breakfast in bar restaurant Though hotel cats kept trying to get some to (and a few wasps) we didn’t use the pool but enjoyed watching a couple of families playing in it. It’s a bit far down to town and beach But taxis and bus are available. Hotel helpful on printing out boarding passes and arranging transport to airport The wasps at breakfast. A couple of mattresses leaning on corridors The road was a bit kacca (untarmaced) The hot sun had killed off grass so lawn looked a bit unkemp

Turunç çok değerli bir bölge benim için bakir koylar açısından muazzam , otel bu bölge için gayet yeterli imkanlara sahip, gün doğumuna uyandığımı şahane bir odamız vardı , biz kullanmadık ama havuz alanı da gayet keyifli görünüyordu.

• Aibek (10/5): Good view - We arrived in mid December when there are few tourists and stayed 3 nights. The hotel is located in the hills and have a wonderful (maybe the best) view to the town and the sea. The hotel owner (the only worker) did our check-in, probably there were no other guests except us and an another couple. It is ok since only few hotels operate in this period in Turunç. The breakfast was nice, especially we enjoyed the local cheese. Also, we were offered a room service but turned it down since we didn’t want it. One (negative) moment, if you do not have a car it will be tricky to go or come back from the town center. It is 2 km distance with steep slides. The owner offered was friendly and served us as taxi. Also, they upgraded our room from a standard to a deluxe (with terrace) free of charge. We are grateful 🙏

• Roshan (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel - Upon arrival, the hotel seemed a bit like in the middle of nowhere on a mountain. But after checking in my perspective slowly changed. The staff was extremely friendly and forthcoming. Furthermore, the room was spacious, clean and had a beautiful view. The breakfast was nothing short of amazing. There is a chef who cooks and serves you breakfast. My girlfriend and I are vegetarian, which was absolutely no problem for them! All and all, exceeded my expectations and would recommend it to anyone visiting Turunç and wanting a relaxing (and just slightly more remote) stay!

We are planning to stay only 2 nights but stay extra 3 nights :) in total 5 nights :) If you like to be alone and if you are happy to feel in hotel like at home - it your choice! For sure during end or out of season (we stay end of September) when hotel not fully booked and you really find time when you alone in pool and have a super silent free days. View is amazing, to town 5 minutes drive (we was on our car). It nice that it cats and chickens live in yard. Everything is so nice and cozy, we just love it. Breakfast was very nice and we order dinner one time and it was delicious as well. Hosts are just great and it really feel like home. thank you very much!
• Liesbeth (8/5): Charming hotel with welcoming staff! - LBO is a great and charming hotel. The staff was immensely flexible and welcoming. They barely spoke English but we made do with Google Translate and the daughter of the owner did speak English and helped us out when necessary. They gave us advice on what to do or see, how crowded things would be etc. We parked our car right next to the hotel. Our room on the first floor had an incredible view. The room and bathroom were spotless. The kids just loved the spacious garden with chicks. It really is a great place to relax. The breakfast was served at the table and very tasty. The hotel offered free beach beds at Turunç's beach and it is just a great base to explore the area (eg. Selimiye). Lovely people, would highly recommend! Our room had a lot of windows with light curtains. Our two kids woke up early because of the light. Breakfast was served rather late and the pool was small but lovely.

• Stephen (8/5): Lovely traditional hotel with great staff - Located just before you get into the town the hotel was ideal for us because we had a hire car and so were able to enjoy the lively bustle of Turunc and then escape to the tranquility of Lavanta Hotel. It was a little tricky to locate - just take the Labranda Hotel turn off. The owners and staff were great (real characters) - not much English spoken but we had fun with smiles, guestures and smartphone translation software. Breakfast on the terrace was traditional Turkish fare and nicely prepared and presented. Room was clean and had a balcony with a great sea view. Be sure to visit nearby Amos Beach.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Turunc experience - The hotel stands on a hill, near Astronomic Observatory, with sea view and silence. Staff is very kind, they might only learn some English. We had dinner there, we ate fresh baked fish (Orada), and one evening grilled chicken with vegetables, in perfect Mardin's style. There is a perfect pool, and the dinner is served close to it in a wonderfull panorama. Perfect service to Port/Airport.

• Yvonne (10/5): Beautiful small hotel in village resort of Turunc - Lavanta is a small family run hotel, its rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped, often with a large terrace giving panoramic views of the sea and coastline. It is perched high above the small village resort of Turunc which boasts many cafes, restaurants and bars along with supermarkets, and a variety of shops as well as a local market on a Monday. It is a 5 minute drive into Turunc, and if you don't have a car, the hotel staff are happy to drive you down. Ekrem, Ozlem and the team work tirelessly to ensure that all of your holiday needs are met. The welcome and hospitality is second to none. They serve a typically Turkish breakfast, including generous portions of bread, olives, cheeses, eggs in a variety of forms including menemen, fruits, butter and local honey. Lunch or evening meals are available from the poolside restaurant and are freshly prepared, examples barbequed fish, chicken with fresh salads. We can't rate this hotel highly enough, staying here was a very relaxing experience. Thank you to Ekrem, Ozlem and the team.
