• Justin (8/5): Excellent value for the money, clean room, cold A/C and close to DT Sarasota. - Excellent value and close to dt Sarasota. Bed was a little soft, perhaps refresh with new mattresses.

• Chaz'nGerry (8/5): Comfortable - affordable - Pretty good location along 41. Adequate parking. Easy check-in. The room was quaint, sorta expected more quaint...but it was good for the price. Cement instead of water in the pool....seems typical for these older lodges in the area but wasn't there to swim with the beaches so close. Some dining options one by, but if you look you'll find gitchier places a bit farther away. Would we stay again? Yes. Overall...a good stay. Family business - no corporate so you get that family touch. Comfortable rooms. Clean and good showers. Easy, convenient location.

• Shawn (8/5): - The rooms were very clean and i'm nice. The rooms were dated and didn't have proper plugs for current electronics. The vending machines were outdated and didn't take cards so I couldn't get anything to drink or a snack. I didn't see an ice machine anywhere.

• Ruth (10/5): - This no frills motel provided just what I wanted, a comfortable bed, very clean, no bad odors, quiet, friendly owner and housekeeper, and conveniently located near the airport. I will return.

• Lawrence (9/5): Very nice hotel surpassed expectations - Very surprised in a good way, the room was very clean good size, don’t be put off by the outside of the motel the sign is gone due to hurricane damage I’m guessing, front desk very nice when checking in made process quick. We had a room on the backside of the building very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

• christopher (10/5): - What I liked most was that the staff were kind and loving.They respected my privacy and allowed me to rehearse uninterrupted.Sometimes I get loud when I rehearse because I am an entertainer.I really dont know if I am going to continue pursuing entertainment.It is fun but all i really want is Love.When people show you love thats the most important thing to me especially from a business.Anyway #Hollywood out

• christopher (10/5): - The sign at the property was broken the door key did not always work 2 fire extinguishers were out of date there were broken bricks everywhere and things such as loose wires its all good it doesnt take much to please me I am happy just having a roof over my head but i could see these things being problems for future customers.
• Hawley (2/5): Bad. Is that short enough? - Room was clean. Ugly, but clean. Every booking service I checked with listed a swimming pool as an amenity - most even had pictures. In reality, the pool has been completely filled in and is now just a mass of concrete. There was no ice available. No ice buckets in the rooms, no ice machine. The AC worked, but was loud enough to interfere with sleep. Parking was minimal. I had to park on ones side of the building and hike around to the other side to get to my room. Lighting was poor - the lamps had 40 watt bulbs and were dim. And all of this still cost $209 per night after taxes!!!

• Allen (7/5): middle priced economy clean motel - Old but well kept. management exceptional. Quality of towels are barley acceptable but I have seen worse. Great location for work, Not beach-front or vacation but if your looking for a basic clean safe place near the Airport This place is good. I would stay here again. I like big soft fluffy Towels.

• Karen (8/5): - Great location for our scuba diving trip to the Blue Heron Bridge. Only complaints were toilet was acting up and water took several minutes to get hot. Oh and the pillows were hard. Would stay again but would bring our own pillows. Great staff. Very friendly.

The two older ladies are racist and very rude people, they treated me very badly, they were very rude to me. They have to be careful with these two people who work at the hotel. They are two ladies, they are the managers of the hotel along with another lady who has a cane. • Jonathan (2/5): - Hotel was full of mole had to call health department on them was sick coughing all night long couldn't sleep had to leave full and this is a health hazard. Hotels.com should close this place down.
• Paula (8/5): Great Basic Room and Location - Overall our stay was fine. The staff member was friendly and worked hard to make sure we had what we needed in the room. There is no pool but that was a non-factor for us. The room was a bit dated but nice and clean and well maintained. The location was great being within driving distance of major area attractions. We would return next time we are in the area.
