Guest Reviews
- Carl (8/5): - Owners were great. Facility was older but clean and quiet
- Dan (8/5): -
- Pavlo (5/5): Hotel needs improvements, doubt I will stay there again - Location is great; the mattress is the most stiff out of every hotel I’ve been to, almost as stiff as my home one; really quiet; was the second cheapest for my dates - Dirty: starting from sheets(I was sleeping dressed because I wasn’t sure they were cleaned), to towels(found just two to be clean), to floor (just dirty overall)
- broken: floors were wavy a lot, moving like 2-4 inches when I was stepping; there were nails heads sticking (I ripped one wool sock); sink was clogged
- Felipe (3/5): The rooms don’t look the same as in the pictures -
- Robert (8/5): -
- Robert (8/5): -
- Hill (4/5): Meh - Staff was great The rooms needs more work. Floors need leveled showers did not have hot water and the room seemed like it was still under construction. The staff was great and helpfull this place could be great spot to stay for a night but needs more work for the price.
- Esperanza (1/5): - It’s was nasty. The nasty motel I have ever seen There was bugs everywhere
- Goates (5/5): It was okay - Close to places There was a humming sound in room 11
- Randall (6/5): - It was quiet, nobody knocking every day. The toilet is broken and the bathtub is bad
- Robert (1/5): - Absolutely nothing. Our car audio said that we had entered a dangerous zone when we pulled into the parking lot!
- Gloria (10/5): -
- Josh (1/5): - Was in a decent location Place was run down and gross.
- Randall (3/5): -
- Earl (5/5): Probably would not stay there again - No breakfast location was good room was clean but needed updating Shower valve was loose in wall water was nice and hot
- evelyn (5/5): It was o.k. for just passing thru. - Don't think there was a breakfast. A little run down.
- Patrick (7/5): It was comfortable and served its purpose. Not a place if you want perfection. - Quiet. Needs some updating.
- Pamela (4/5): Place was fine. Staff was rude. - Breakfast was not included. Mike the manager claimed we had made two reservations and that we needed to call booking to cancel one. Ariana at booking said she only say one booking and was very helpful. All in all the staff did not have good customer service. Almost to the point of being rude.
- Douglas (3/5): For the price it was okay - For starters ice machine didnt work. Next if you stay more than one night they don't clean the room or give new towels. Over all our stay was okay. No one bothered us.
- Beth (8/5): -
- Ed (10/5): - The staff was great. Large comfortable room None
- Bernard (3/5): -
- Rebecca (6/5): This motel does not present itself very well, but in fact is clean and has all the basic services. - The best feature was that despite the motel being almost totally full the room was very quiet all night. The room was clean and everything there was in working order, though you had to fiddle with the toilet handle to keep it from running. There was also a really nice breakfast place just a few blocks away. I did not like the rather tacky condition of the ceiling and walls (large crack between and semi unfinished look as well as messy paint job).
- Nancy (10/5): sweet quiet place in beautiful country, extra helpful front desk person. - Sweet quiet place - front desk staff went beyond in helping me and was so friendly and happy to help.

- Garry (6/5): - Bathroom
- Barry (9/5): One nice day for the county fair great price for the room and very comfortable bed - Central location to town and fantastic price outdated bathroom
- Peter (8/5): - The water in this town is awful. Not the motels fault.
- Timothy (9/5): The staff was super helpful and friendly. Suggested a place where I could park my motorbike out of the rain & dew. - Friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The property out by the street is a little rundown.
- James (4/5): - Dirty room and aging facility
- MATTHEW (2/5): - Absolutely do not stay here even as the last resort. Terrible service terrible hotel.
- Edwin (10/5): - I got in late after the office closed w/o making arrangements. The office had a key waiting for me in the key drop box, good service.
- Mandy (8/5): - All was good 😊
- James (6/5): Relatively affordable stay that doesn't stand out, but isn't bad. - The check in guy was super nice. The room was quaint, but had some rough edges. I had a doorway to a water heater closet in my room. It wasn't terrible, just surprising. Overall, the room was fine. On my first night, there was no TV service. It was working on the second night. Really close to the grocery store and some restaurants. The room had a mini fridge and a microwave. The bathtub had some wear in the tub that looks like it's pretty old. It looked dirty, but it was just discolored. There was a part of the wall that was repaired and wasn't painted. No big deal. The most annoying thing about staying here was the wifi. It worked, and then it didn't. It would work for a little while, then completely lose signal. It was free and shared with all the rooms so that's probably why it was so bad.
- Urrusuno (4/5): Other than my fall was great - I like the staff in the office nice and friendly. I also like that it's quiet. In my room the bath tub faucet was broken and there was no handrail or rubber mat on bottom of the tub. I slipped and fell hurt my ribs and my leg pretty bad. I tried to speak with the people in the office in the morning and the office was closed but it said it was open from 8:00 to 10:00 and it was not so I didn't get to speak to anybody before I had to leave.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean older property. Friendly staff.
- Debra (2/5): - View amazing ......but floors were filthy looked like dirt was sprinkled on sheets musty smell ceiling coming down
- John E (10/5): Our late arrival - We were late in arriving but the extremely kind Manager stayed and was very accommodating. Thank You.
- James (10/5): - A
- Alfredo (10/5): -
- Sandro Kunz (9/5): Modest but clean hotel with very helpful staff. Good value fow money. - Staff was exceptionally friendly & helpful. No complaints whatsoever.
- Nancy (6/5): -
- Dorothy (8/5): - Modest…. But room was clean and comfortable and had everything necessary
- Cristine (8/5): In and out with no problems - We arrived late, the front desk guy left our key outside the door in an envelope.
Got to the room, look cleaned to me, crashed out, left early.
- Terry Larson (7/5): - The owner made adjustments and worked with us to changes. TV kept cutting out due to connection.
- jacquelyno677 (2/5): Filthy, don't stay here! - The dirtiest motel we've ever stayed in (see attached pictures), and more expensive than several others we stayed in on this trip. The shower curtain, beyond being filthy, had been pushed open for some time. When we pulled it across the shower stall we found spiders had made their home in the creases. Add to this the dead bugs and the disgusting coffee pot (see pictures) - really gross.
- Robert (4/5): Well, I've Seen Worse - I will not say the room was 'filthy,' but it is 'dilapidated' at best. The young fella at the desk was very kind. The town is under a water warning. The hotel is in serious need of a rebuild (it's a dive). I would never revisit the place.
- Lynda (8/5): - The room was comfortable with fridge, microwave, coffee, TV and the service was very good
- Marilyn (6/5): It was good. Thank you - Location was good Small bathroom
- John (10/5): - I want to thank the manager of the motel. I left my iPad on a countertop in my room. It was dark when I left. He called me within a few hours, and it was in the mail back to me by the end of the day. Thanks so much again.
- Mandy L (2/5): - We did check in late and the entire region was lacking cellular service from a forest fire. Mike was very helpful, although obviously flustered with trying to handle things with no internet. The condition of our room was terrible. I never make reviews and have a high tolerance for affordable hotels and their potential issues. This hotel needs a serious upgrade. It looked like bare earth between the main room and the bathroom. Shower surround was very old and stained. We did not use it.
- Michael (6/5): - Most importantly the check-in was great, staff super nice and the room was clean. It is a dated facility and looks like it is in the process of slowly being updated. It is perfect for a quick overnight stay. Yes, I would stay there again.
- Francois (1/5): I would NEVER recommend or stay here EVER again. - Absolutely nothing, came in felt/smelt dirty, fridge smelt rotten, microwave turn table broken, toilet only flushed 20% of the time, tube was slimy and water was either boiling hot or ice cold no in between, the tube faucet was broken off the wall, fire alarm was missing and wires sticking out of the ceiling. Bed was super uncomfortable and pillows were super flat. Bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way no fan in bathroom at all. Employees were rude when asking for extra towels and hardly spoke English. “Clean” towels smelt like mold. Deadbolt wouldn’t close not turn or lock all the way. All in all would NEVER recommend this place. And expensive for what we had to deal with. - Jeff (6/5): Pleasant -
- Verified traveler (6/5): Tired and patched. - This hotel is dated. The pictures online make it look much better than it really is. It was quiet. Felt like it was clean. But just needs an update.
- Jim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (2/5): - Guy at the desk was cool. The hotel is a total dump. Don't stay there. Unless you like ants and a shower that's never been cleaned. The water out of the tap smells rotten.
- jose (6/5): - Is ok
- Andy (8/5): Very good -
- Villa (9/5): Superb -
- Johnnie (6/5): Pleasant - The staff The bathroom was not clean
- Jim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joyce (1/5): We left a night early because of how dirty the room was, we couldn’t stay there after we realized they hadn’t changed th - Convent location. Blood on sheets and blankets, got fresh sheets from the owner. Spatter on the mirrors, bathroom had toothpaste spatters. Floor was dirty and gritty. Looked like vomit on the walls near the bed.
- Head (2/5): Very poor - Staff was super friendly I found blood stains on the duvet and I don't know what the stain was on the fitted sheets. The TV wasn't working properly and they said it was the wind but yet everyone tv was working fine. It didn't work properly even when the wind wasn't blowing.
- Patrick (2/5): - We paid for the room , but didn’t stay. Don’t trust the pictures. The rooms are in need of a total gut job.
- Evaristo (3/5): Just don't lie about the sight, show the real deal your getting, paid 107.00? For nothing but bad, - Nothing was more like a 1.0 over all The picture they post it truly not ok to show! Tell the truth, it nasty, old, smelly bed is like sleeping on springs, not enough pillows, towels, bedding smells, tv, bad 👎
- Michael (9/5): Superb - The owner was VERY accommodating The location
- Jennifer (8/5): Beautiful area, nice people, clean rooms - Kind staff, accommodating. Felt safe The couch bed was tiny and I have teens that didn't fit
- Lacy (6/5): Pleasant - The staff was very friendly and helpful. No bathtub, just a shower.
- Roger (6/5): Pleasant -
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant -
- keith (4/5): - Pretty rundown property for the price.Chechin guy was friendly
- Guy (6/5): - Nice man at front desk. TV often didn’t work, light out in bathroom, poor drainage in sink.
- Or (1/5): Stay away - Stinky place, towels were yellow, bedding were dirty. If I had a different option I would not even stay that night. Really nasty.
- Therese (10/5): - Mike in the reception area was so accommodating and friendly. Room was large and clean. Nice shower. The area was easy to walk my dog. Quiet and close to everything.
- John (1/5): More than a little disgusting - If you like low water pressure and lukewarm showers Lakeview as you covered
toilet was patched with some kind of blue tape, bowl water ring could not be removed.
Sheet was stained
Coffee pot not cleaned.
Food left in the refrigerator.
Bad TV reception for that NBA playoffs
- Hudson (5/5): Passable -
- Ingram (3/5): Not impressed - Toilet seat is broken when you sit it pinches your thigh. shower pan has been patched and has still has cracks, afraid to use for fear of breaking through and getting hurt, so 2 days no showers for us! Lighting sucks no switch, near the door, and you have to go across the room before you find a switch. Wash clothes turned brown when wet - got bleach! I know Lakeview water can be nasty but yuck.
- Cousyn (7/5): Good -
- Jeff (6/5): Pleasant -
- Garth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (2/5): - Staff was very welcoming and nice. Facility was dirty. Water is brown with chunks of black stuff coming out when on. Tv/ cable not working. One of our two rooms didn’t even have all the furniture. Beds are very firm.
- Lorie (5/5): The staff is very friendly, but the rooms need maintenance and updates. - The location is good as far as walking distance to groceries, restaurants etc.... Bathroom is due for an update, faucet is hard to adjust water in the shower. The microwave plate doesn't turn at all.
- Rachel (3/5): It was okay. Won’t do it again. - It was quiet at night It wasn’t super clean. Sketchy location and staff . Online said $69 I booked it. Get there and have to pay $104.
- Barbara (4/5): - The manager was so kind, anxious to make our stay good. The property itself is poor quality. But it was quiet and clean, a good value
- Larry (10/5): I will use again when in the area. - I really enjoyed my stay. The TV was a little wonky, but settled down after a few minutes. I suspect it was the Network because of the weather. The room was well appointed and very clean.
- Joanne (10/5): - Spotty grass for dog. Will stay again and have reservation for May 25 but would like to be closer to dog potty area.
- Wendy (10/5): Excellant - Great customer service every time I have stayed there. Everything met my needs, I enjoyed my stay.
- James (1/5): Bad - It had a room available there were no others Smell, bathroom was so bad I couldn't use the shower
- Cedric (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (7/5): This is a no frills value motel that is good for what it is. - Very nice family ownership willing to reasonably accommodate.
- Christy (9/5): Superb - Location and quiet with one level rooms
- Mitchell (7/5): Good - They upgraded my room for free and were friendly.
- Corrine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (3/5): Mushin the owner is a very nice person, maybe he just bought the place, but it’s not really ready for guests. - The roof didn’t leak and the heater worked No no ice or cold drinks, no lamps or chairs in the rooms, kinda like a Swedish prison cell.
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional - Felt safe as a solo traveler and the staff was friendly!
- Debra (2/5): - The room was positively filthy! I slept with a light on as I didn't feel safe.
