O quarto feminino fica em um contêiner, por conta disso não tem janela, se a pessoa for claustrofóbica da um pouco de angústia. Se você for mulher e estiver viajando sozinha, é bom ter em conta que o Hostel não é no centro, por tanto durante a noite precisa pegar a estrada caso queira ir ao centro, aconselho ir em algum meio de locomoção ou acompanhada, o caminho não é longo mas a estrada à noite é bem escura.

Logramos ver monos aulladores en las copas de los árboles de la salida. También vimos muchísimos cangrejos. Reservé dos habitaciones, en una se metieron a robar: se llevaron dinero y una colonia, mis amigos se quisieron ir del hospedaje justo cuando se enteraron. En la otra habitación no hubo problema. Por otro lado, sería bueno que agreguen otro par de duchas pues se saturan en época alta.

Les plages sont proches tout comme le centre de Puerto viejo où l'on trouve restaurants divers, supermarchés, souvenirs...

- Ian (8/5): A cool old-school vibe, with comfortable beds, but needs work to keep up with the amount of guests. - Comfortable shared room with great A/C. Lockers are large for your personal items. Cool vibe, lots of tile and mosaic work. Nice beach area. Friendly staff. Cleaning seemed to be pretty good. Kitchen facilities are pretty unsubstantial. Broken pots and pans, and it gets really crowded given the amount of people there. Wifi was very weak in the room I stayed in, as it was at the outer edge. Not enough bathrooms/showers for the amount of people there. It's about 1km outside the main part of town.

- Jiménez (1/5): De terror - Nada Horrible experiencia. Nos alojamos 4 noches en una habitación doble (a un precio nada bajo) y la realidad fue muy distinta a lo esperado. La pieza estaba justo sobre el bar, con música fuerte hasta las 12 am, lo que hacía imposible descansar antes de esa hora. Durante el fin de semana largo, el hostal colapsó: había fácilmente más de 100 personas. Los baños, duchas y cocina no daban a basto. Aunque limpiaban en la mañana, por la noche estaban en condiciones muy malas, con filas constantes para poder usarlos. La cocina era pequeña y con muy pocos implementos (por ejemplo, apenas una cuchara), lo que dificultaba preparar o comer algo con tranquilidad. El refrigerador estaba completamente lleno, sin espacio para guardar nada. Además, el ruido fue constante durante toda la madrugada, pese a que nos indicaron que el silencio comenzaba a las 12 am. Gente tocando guitarra a eso de las 3 de la madrugada. No logramos descansar ninguna noche. La atención del personal fue muy despreocupada y poco amigable. Nunca empatizaron con nuestras preocupaciones ni ofrecieron soluciones frente a los problemas. No lo recomendaría si buscas descansar o tener condiciones básicas de comodidad.

- Lilly (9/5): - Sehr günstige Fahrräder, viele interessante Menschen. Eine der beiden Damen an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Die andere Dame an der Rezeption war alles andere als freundlich. Ich kann die Hängematte als Bett nicht weiterempfehlen, das macht leider mehr Rückenschmerzen als Spaß 😅 Bei dem Preis muss man keine Wunder erwarten, in meinem Spint wohnte eine Ratte und die Toiletten funktionierten öfter mal nicht oder waren dreckig.

The kitchen is bad and pots and pans dont have handles. There is only 2 gas stoves for 100s of people. Only 2 fridges for so many people and many times my food went off. Has potential but management have lost interest. 😕

- Alex-Saundra (6/5): Traumatizing, but beautiful physical environment. - as a deeply melanated woman, i felt harassed, specifically by the night guard. Which eventually lead to further problems. The first night I didn’t have money for a bed I slept on the beach - that same night guard bullied me off the beach, threatening to call the police. When i came to the public bar space in the back to charge my phone, the owner approached me immediately with hostility, trying to physically escort me out, yelling to get out of his house. a few days later i went for an open workshop a friend was hosting, and again one of the receptionists approached me with immediate hostility, causing a scene in front of other guests. i was embarrassed and frustrated, but i couldn’t get too emotional or passionate for fear of my wellbeing. The property is beyond perfect, though! Just needs new ownership/management. From what i hear from the locals, the owner stressing out the workers which causes a hostile environment. I felt it at check-in, the receptionist at that point was so scattered and overworked, he forgot to give me my bracelet for the day, unaware by me at the time, and that lead the security guard to harass me when I’d be meditating in shared space at night.

- Ivan (8/5): barato pero bueno - bien equipada la cocina, buen personal, buenas fiestas a la noche, muy buen ambiente con los huespedes, muy buena cercania a la playa, medio lejos del centro pero bien ubicado no habia suficientes enchufes para todos los huespedes, una noche mi carpa se llovio y se me mojaron mis cosas adentro, el personal no supo manejar la situacion y por ello no puedo valorar mejor.
- Sequeira (7/5): - Localização junto à praia, zonas comuns com entretenimento e criativas. Cozinha muito nojentinha e com poucos recursos. Eu escolhi ficar numa rede e esse foi o meu erro. Passei uma noite horrível. Não escolham esta opção se não tiverem convosco um mosquiteiro pois o espaço não oferece esse recurso o que acho que é algo que poderia ser melhorado.

- Laure (3/5): Adapté pour des nuits à petit budget sans être regardant sur le confort - L’emplacement, proche du centre à pied, ou à vélo, Et donne sur la plage Quand je suis arrivée, ma chambre été déjà occupée, pas de soucis pour ça mais, il y avait des affaires sur mon lit, elle était sale, les draps pas propre, et le lit on sent les ressorts.

- Heery (3/5): The Smell of pure piss - The shower was grand The room was dirty and so warm The bed smelled like piss and made us feel sick from how bad it smelled The bikes to rent were flat I understand now why it's non refundable before you see the room because if you saw the room before paying you'd go to a different place

- Simone (9/5): Great location and value! - Great location and nice double room looking at the beach. Funky, artsy, good value and walkable to both Puerto Viejo center and Playa Cocles. We would stay again! Nothing major. Just could use some new pillows on the bed and maybe a couple of cushions on the wooden bench, to make it even more comfortable.

- Rios (10/5): Buena vibra, buen precio y buena ubicación - El staff y las instalaciones muy limpias. Buena ubicación. Incluye lockers para que dejes tus cosas. La cocina me pareció un poco pequeña para la cantidad de personas que se hospedan pero resuelve.
