This was our first visit to Indianapolis and to the Ironworks Hotel. Highly recommended by my son. We were there for the graduation of my granddaughter from Purdue University. We were offered a free upgrade to a Legend room for our first visit. Honestly we had wide eyes and mouths upon entry to this glorious spacious suite. One felt grand upon entry.- that you mattered. It was a corner room with windows on 2 sides offering pleasant views. This hotel is set in a plaza and along with its Breakfast Restaurant - Rise - which by the way was the very best of Indianapolis for breakfast for our group. 5 stars all the way - there is a Beer Garden, Sushi, Italian, along with other options. So convenient. We even enjoyed walking to Nolas Mall where we found the Flower Child restaurant and Whole Foods - places which meet our desire for healthy eating. All the facilities in the room were super clean and operable. Comfy warm leather sofas and chairs. Desk. Plenty of hangers in the closet - Yeah!! 2 sinks, large shower. Mini fridge with an entire good sized shelf for one's own items as well as being thoughtfully stocked. We wanted for nothing. Cannot recommend more highly.

paulapH9188YZ (10/5): Excellent stay at a welcoming hotel! - Came to revisit Indianapolis as this was where my Service Dog came from. So I was in town for Medical Mutts Charity Event Purse Bingo and to visit with my SD’s foster family. It was important to choose a hotel close to the event, dog friendly and one that was near the airport also. As I cannot drive due to my disability plus I wanted one that had walkable location for my dog etc. This hotel checked all the boxes and then some! The room was AMAZING from the dog treats that were there for my dog to the super friendly staff. To the excellent restaurants in hotel or just next door and easy location for Ubers etc! I loved everything about my stay and would definitely not hesitate to book again! It was close to Fishers and Carmel where I could explore with my best mate. Also about 35- 40 min to the airport and right off the highway so perfect location. The Michelin restaurant were a plus too!

Every staff member we encountered was extremely accommodating, customer-friendly, and knowledgeable. Both attached restaurants were impeccably satisfying and extremely convenient. The rooms are absolutely phenomenal with a wood themed interior, a leather couch, comfortable beds, first class bathroom and shower, huge windows, and spacious. Coffee was available complimentary in the morning. Did not eat at the hotel or hang at the bar as spent the evening downtown at Burn and Giordano's. Staff is top notch. Wish had more than the one night to enjoy it. If you are in the looking to stay in the north Indianapolis suburbs or Carmel / Fishers area, this is the place.

S8571YLbillyr (10/5): Spur of the Moment - It was the end of a business trip when I realized on the flight (still on the tarmac) I did not have my laptop. We got our things, hopped off the flight and headed for the car rental station. Once we secured the laptop (they FOUND it!), we now needed a place to stay for one more night. My wife worked quickly, found Ironworks, and directed me (in our new rental car) to the location. We could have stayed in something close to the airport, something without character but I was so happy to see she chose a place where it seems every detail was thought through. The feel of the district it sat in, the materials and furnishings used in the construction, the atmosphere felt like something that could have cost twice as much and not felt wrong to do so. Then there was the staff. Upon check-in, she asked how our night was going and we, with humor, explained our tale. Without hesitation she found a suite available and placed us there to help give our stressful evening a soft and positively memorable ending. The one regret we had was we could only stay there for nine hours until we left for our next flight because the corner room was absolutely divine and really could have been a home away from home for as long as we needed.

But you could have been great. - I liked the interior design, pallet, firmer mattress, etc. The entrance to the hotel is not ... well, it's not well lit and obvious. The lobby not being on the ground floor and the dark tinted windows make it hard of you have never been there to "know" were the front entrance is. Yes, there's a portico but even with that the entrance is understated and dark at night. You can't see "in" easily. Pillows - meh. Should have 2 soft and 2 hard per bed. Sheer drape - Yes, you have the black out drape but you're missing the sheer so we can have privacy but not need to be in a windowless dark environment. Towels - while plentiful they feel like sandpaper. I literally stay at a Holiday in directly after your hotel and their towels were soft compared to yours. Two luggage stands - why do hotels not have two... your set up for two guests, don't you think they both have luggage!?

Destination778660 (10/5): My New Favorite Hotel in Indy! - Beautiful, clean, unique, well-appointed hotel with a variety of room and suite types available to choose from…and bonus, it’s pet-friendly! Everything you could possibly want is either on the property, or very close by. Top notch restaurants, on-site bar, great shopping, and exceptional breakfast available at Rize on the first floor (make your reservation early for that). The entire staff, from the valet to front desk to housekeeping, were warm, welcoming, professional, and focused on making sure our stay was exceptional. 6 of us stayed quite comfortably in the spacious double queen bed suite with pull out sofa. No detail was overlooked. We were provided plenty of towels, linens, blankets and pillows, slippers, robes, and even a complimentary toothbrush that was forgotten at home. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable, and the temperature of the room was easy to control—a very important detail in a room full of post-menopausal women. I had informed the hotel prior to arrival that we were celebrating a birthday during our stay. When we entered the room, we were pleasantly surprised to find a thoughtful birthday message, a very nice bottle of wine, and a delicious box of gourmet chocolates to help us celebrate. Any request we made, whether for ice or extra coffee pods, was fulfilled promptly and with a smile. My only regret about booking at Ironworks Hotel is that we only stayed one night! If you’re in the Indianapolis area, for business or pleasure, I HIGHLY recommend a stay at this distinctive hotel. I know I will definitely be back, and so will my friends!

Emily went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, even making sure my room was in a quiet corner... Terri was also wonderfully polite, friendly...l highly recommend this hotel, it was spotless, comfortable, and Emily and Terri truly made our stay enjoyable...

The two restaurants are great and there are other spots in walking distance. The rooms feel like a modern brick loft. They are spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds and leather sofas. Perfect spot to drink your morning Nespresso (provided) or get some work done in the sun bathed rooms

It was crystal clear they were committed to ensuring we had an enjoyable experience. The decor throughout is also very well done. Bonus benefit was the on-site restaurants and brewery, all three excellent. Provision for dinner was out of this world, RIZE for breakfast was delicious, and Daredevil’s was an enjoyable low key spot. Room was clean, and in decent shape. Only minor thing was the bed frame stuck out pretty far, and we both ran into it more than once! We’ll return to this hotel.

It is a very unique and charming hotel with lots of great restaurants right in and around the hotel. Check-in was flawless. The atmosphere was impeccably cozy. Lots of exposed wood and industrial architecture touches. The room was spacious and it had the most fantastic shower I think I’ve ever seen in a hotel. We ordered in-room breakfast next morning. The food was fantastic and the service was quick. It made a perfect end to a wonderful date night.
