Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Tv disnt work in room and room floor had broken tiles and dirty
- Stuart (2/5): - Disgustingly filthy, poor condition throughout. Just don't stay there.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Located well. Quiet and comfortable. Definitely stay there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice quiet place to live . Staff also very friendly .
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was clean, the staff very friendly and the food was excellent.
- AnnandTrevor (4/5): - The accommodation blocks feel tired and uncared for. Lighting around the facilities was virtually non-existent. The check-in office is remote from the hotel - servicing a workers camp with hotel lets a sideline. It took 15 minutes to get keys to our two rooms - clearly there was confusion over when we were due to arrive (overnight 20-21 June) and what facilities we had booked. We were even asked if we had booked a caravan site. When we finally received the keys, we discovered the double room had one cup and no glasses, the bed-head lights did not work, nor did the air conditioner. The bedroom lights did not work at all in the second room.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very basic, but convenient. Staff were great. Food fantastic. No Wi-Fi.
- Nina Bonderup (6/5): Fly-in fly-out, very basic accommodation - Very basic accommodation, targeted at fly-in fly-out workers rather than at people on holiday. Rooms were rather shabby. Reception was at the hotel next door, i.e. not on the premises, which was not very convenient.
- Ron (4/5): - Hard to find
Facilities need updating
Too far out of town
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It was disappointing and dissatisfaction at all, it took us ages to check in ourselves. Never thought that we still need to go at the landing which was near to the premises to do check in. It would be good if they can improve their services and hotel facilities too.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient, cheap and a blast from the past. - Accommodation in post boom mining towns is now affordable. The Walkabout is a rabbit warren of donga's, single men's quarters and tired Spanish mission style stuff from the 80's; retro FIFO. The pub grub servings are not as huge as at Roebuck plains.
