Staff is super nice and helpful and they make the best bar coffee I ever had!Spa team is amazing, they helped me a lot with my back pain.however,spa facilities could use some refreshments cause they a bit dated and some damage due to moisture and water is visible along with some rusty parts.Breakfast is rich and there is variety of choice for everyone, including me with special dietary requirements. However, I had lunch one day and it could use improvement.

Staff are very kind, and available to every kind of request. Room very comfortable, breakfast illimited, and also the dinner (included in the half board fare) with a long menu list from starter and main disches adapted to all kind of customer (pasta, meat and fish). Position top in the middlw of island close to main town and sites.

- janeeR7039EZ (6/5): Cold pool but lovely hotel - Booked 3 nights here as a quiet getaway after a busier start to the holiday at a larger hotel chain. This is a lovely family run small boutique hotel. Beautifully decorated interior and art works. Our downsides were the lack of sun, due to high surrounding walls. Felt the sunlight was limited (none on our balcony, which faced inwards to the lift interior, although nicely decorated with externally plants to give it a living wall feel). We made ourselves leave the hotel for sunlight rather than spend a lot of time here. Outdoor pool was freezing (and in the shade) same as the third floor hydro adults only pool. Too cold for us. The indoor pool is warm, if you want a dark spa style pool atmosphere. Rooms have a three day changing policy on bedsheets. The toilet paper is not 5*, it is cheap and very thin. Hotel should consider a better standard. Overall nice hotel and great central location for seeing the island.
- O6971LCjulier (10/5): Gorgeous hidden gem - Beautiful little hidden gem in Naxxar which is very central for exploring the rest of the island. Only a few minutes walk from the main shops and restaurants through picturesque streets. Our room was clean and very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were friendly and welcoming. The spa is wonderful and our massages so relaxing.

Room clean but terrace had not been swept and no cushions on furniture. Shower area in need of repair. A la carte food good but little vegetable, fruit and salad on menu. Service very slow. Noise carries so is not quiet when outside restaurant area being used. You can hear explicit conversations even from balconies. Thankfully owner was only entertaining on one of our 4 days. Know it was out of season but outdoor pool area was not swept daily. Location excellent for getting around island so more than an adequate stay base.

- ChristopherM876 (10/5): Little oasis hidden away in old Naxxar - We stayed for 10 days as a base for exploring the island. This hotel, hidden away in an old part of Naxxar 5 or so minutes walk from the town centre, provided an excellent quiet retreat. A friendly welcome, excellent service, immaculate rooms and delicious reasonably priced food define this boutique hotel. Varia (I might have the name wrong, sorry) is the smiliest and most helpful receptionist I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. The compact and tranquil outdoor space is cleverly carved up into a pool area, sitting and eating areas zoned by tall planting. Naxxar is a short bus trip to Mosta and Mdina. Valletta is about 20-30 mins on the bus depending on traffic. Naxxar is large enough to have at least a handful of cafe and restaurants. We would go back!

The rooms were well equipped, lovely comfy beds, food was excellent too. The rooms were cleaned very well every day, the pool area was superb and very relaxing atmosphere. This is only a small hotel which is part of the charm. We asked advice of the hotel receptionists and all were extremely helpful to us whatever we asked. Thorough recommended.

Hotel is very comfortable and located away from main area of Naxxar but only a 5 min walk to centre of Naxxar. Rooms are spacious, staff excellent. Restaurant is VG but a bit pricey. However good restaurants in town centre. Location is good for exploring Malta, away from the large hotels and resorts. Only 9/10 kms from Valetta. Good bus connections or use BOLT. Recommended.

- johnhenden (10/5): Relaxing and enjoyable stay at The Village Hotel, Naxxar - We had a wonderful week's stay at The Village Boutique & Spa in Naxxar. On arrival, we were welcomed by Receptionist, Vinetzia, who explaied all we needed to know for our stay. Our room was of generous size, the breakfasts were tasty and the general feel of the hotel was excellent. It is very much a family-run hotel and it was good to see the owner, family members and business associates making use of the lounge and poolside facilities alongside residents. We took full advantage of the many faciities: the inside and outside pools, sauna, Infrared room and salted air inhalation room! We were on a Tui Holiday package, and seeing the other hotels that our minibus driver from the airport was picking up from, we believed we had the best deal!

Breakfast hideously overpriced for what it is - we were told there were plenty of gluten-free options but the kitchen staff seemed not too sure about what was and what wasn’t gluten free, so that made it impossible to trust what we could eat. Reception staff catty and unhelpful. They also called us early in the morning to remind us to pay the city tax, which we had already said we’d pay on check out - to call early on Sunday morning to “remind us” is simply rude and unnecessary. We had to ask for sufficient towels and bedlinen on day one and again on day two.

Price was great and the rooms were big (we got a family room as it was the last one left). Waiter made super good cocktails. We didn’t try the food but the drinks were great! Beds were one of the comfiest I’ve stayed in and shower had good pressure and was hot. Couldn’t really ask for much more for the price to be honest!

Couldn't understand what the smoking policy was. Continual loud music was incessant and annoying Both outdoor and spa pools should have railings down the steps for safety. Access to the outdoor pool via the steps was difficult because of the positioning of a double sunbed close to the pool edge. Although all of the staff where friendly and helpful one member was rude an unhelpful on more than one occasion.
- Trek63682434137 (10/5): Perfet relaxation - had an amazing time at this hotel! The staff were all incredibly friendly, and the rooms were both cozy and spotless. The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious lots to choose from, and the spa treatments were exceptional. I also decided to splurge a little by adding the sauna, ice room, and infrared therapy, and it was totally worth every penny. These extra touches really helped me relax and recharge. Overall, it was a perfect blend of comfort, relaxation, and indulgence. Highly recommend!

It is well noted that your bar was still open at midnight as we had a foreign visitor who wanted a drink and we were served. Checking in was easy and without hiccups. We will surely recommend your boutique hotel As any where or ass with everything, we can all do better, but your Boutique hotel met the expectations of our high profile visitor and his only complaint was that his morning run had to be made in excessive traffic at 7 am . It would be well if you recommend (a leaflet) of a route which is less cumbersome around 7 am.
- Guest28SV (2/5): A spa experience I would never repeat - I had one of the worst experiences at Boutique Village. As soon as I entered the spa area, I was shocked to find cockroaches. This is absolutely unacceptable for a place that should guarantee cleanliness, relaxation and well-being. Naturally, I refused to use the spa under such conditions. To make matters worse, the refund offered was symbolic and completely inadequate considering that we could not use the services as promised. In the end, we were left paying almost the full price just for a short massage, after an enormous inconvenience and a total waste of time. I feel sorry for the staff, who politely apologized, but the management was nowhere to be found and has not even bothered to respond to emails. This shows a serious lack of professionalism, respect for customers, and above all basic hygiene standards. I strongly advise against booking the spa services here.
- Adrian (9/5): Excellent - We had a wonderful stay at this boutique! The rooms were spacious, very clean, and beautifully maintained. The pool area was spotless and a perfect place to relax. We especially appreciated the quiet surroundings, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy our time. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable experience, and we’d be happy to return. The only downside was that the restaurant and buffet were quite expensive compared to what we expected.

We have been coming frequently to Mosta for several years as we have close family living there. We have stayed in many hotels but this was our first time at the Village Boutique & Spa. Our room was lovely and spacious with a good view of the surrounding landskape and the pool. The shower was great. The pool was never overly crowded and the sunbeds the most comfortable we have encountered! The breakfast was very good with a range of fresh and cooked produce always available. The staff were all kind and helpful and seemed happy to be there, not always the case in Malta! The spa is very relaxing and I enjoyed both a pedicure and a full body massage. I especially ommend Christine, who is so kind, professional and good at her job. Thank you for a lovely stayi We will be back. Isabel.

Our room which was a deluxe one was very comfy, choice of pillows, good selection of toiletries and a kettle (always a bonus!) There is a very good restaurant on site but do get out and about. The local town Naxxar has so many fantastic restaurants which are well worth a visit. If staying for a while the local bus service is great and very reasonable, although the bolt/uber in the area is also a great option. We did the red hop on/hop off bus as recommended by the hotel, which wasn’t the greatest, usually they run into the early evening but this one doesn’t leaving you stranded if you hadn’t worked that out earlier in your day!!! The harbour tour ran by this company was excellent however and would definitely recommend you do that. Malta is steeped in history and churches which we loved… so much to see, read about and understand of this great little country. We were in Naxxar during their fiesta, what an experience. The town was decorated more and more each day of the festival, with band processions and huge amounts of fireworks! If loud bangs are not your things then do check when you visit as the cannon/fireworks go off multiple times a day! Overall, this hotel was a great find, lovely swimming pool area, great spa and have to mention again the helpful staff! Well done to all and thank you for a lovely 10 days

Large room with beautiful marble bathroom everything spotlessly clean.The most comfortable beds and most convenient to walk into town. Lots of choices at breakfast and many items cooked to order. Wonderful lunch/dinner menu all freshly cooked and delicious. Delightful pool area with a bar at competitive prices. I had a massage in the spa that was one of the best I have ever had. Definitely return for a total chill out in a central location on the Island.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The hotel is spotless throughout, and everything is clearly very well looked after. We especially enjoyed the outdoor garden with the pool – such a peaceful space to unwind. The jacuzzi on the 3rd floor was a real highlight, perfect for some well-deserved relaxation time. I also treated myself to a beautiful facial and massage – both therapists were excellent and made the experience even more enjoyable. Our room overlooked the garden and offered lovely views. The bed was super comfy, ensuring a great night's sleep. Another bonus is the location – just a 5-minute walk from Naxxar Square, which was ideal for an evening stroll. The hotel restaurant also impressed us with its well-thought-out menu and delicious food. We were genuinely impressed by the whole experience and will definitely be returning!

The place is super clean, the staff are really friendly and welcoming, and the whole vibe is just relaxing. The garden and pool area are lovely, very nicely kept. Hear good comments from fellow guests about the Spa however I didn’t manage to fit in any treatments this time, but I’ll definitely book a massage or facial next time – can’t wait to try them! Our room had a nice view over the garden with a large balcony Rm 208, and the bed was super comfy, and the room was very spacious. We used Bolt to get around and it worked out really well – fast, reliable, and not expensive at all. The food was indeed very good and always fresh not junk food all fried, actually all fresh and very good. All in all, a great stay again – we’ll definitely be back!

And they were so kind to move me to a different room so that I can sleep. The facilities, the restaurant, the rooms, the service, everything was so perfect! There were 3 different types of pillows to choose from. And heated floor in the bathroom. Although the hotel doesn't have a parking I was able to always park close by. Everything was lovely!

- WildBilly (8/5): Prachtig hotel, met een paar kanttekeningen - We hebben een upgrade gedaan zodat we hier 2 nachten konden verblijven: de junior suite is erg ruim met een groot bed, verschillende kussens, heerlijke douche en groot terras/balkon. Op ons bed lag een hoed en waaier als welkomstkadootje. Het hotel is kleinschalig en sfeervol ingericht met veel groen. Het parkeren is door het eenrichtingsverkeer in de wijk wel even gedoe. Vergeleken met andere plekken op Malta erg prijzig: ontbijt €23 per persoon, cappuccino €4. We hebben hier niet ontbeten, dus over de kwaliteit kunnen we niets zeggen. Omdat we 2 nachten verbleven en onze kamer niet was schoongemaakt tussendoor (dit laten wij bewust niet doen) vroeg ik of we nog ons flesje water mochten, maar dit werd alleen bij de eerste nacht uitgegeven. Bij een verblijf van €180 per nacht komt dit nogal goedkoop over.. Nog wat kleine punten: de muziekkeuze (rap/hiphop) paste wat mij betreft niet altijd goed bij de sfeer die het hotel uitstraalt. Daarnaast vind ik peroonlijk dit hotel geschikter als adults only, door de akoestiek/kleinere zwembad.

- 425vickii (6/5): Not the worst but not the best! - On arrival, battling our way through the overgrown foiliage outside the front door of the hotel, we discovered that our room had water all over the floor and the bathroom smelled of damp. The room is located on its own on the top floor by the jacuzzi, which was noisy. There were 2 high steps to get into the bathroom and to access the balcony. We asked to be moved but were told they were fully booked. We don't think they were, given the number of guests we saw during our stay. The room was very clean and the mattress was very comfortable . Most staff were very friendly and helpful. We wouldn't stay again.

The bathroom was very large with a large selection of free toiletries. The facilities are amazing and the breakfast buffet was vast with a selection of hot and cold food. Highly recommended. The restaurant is also great for lunch or dinner.

Ottima per il discorso della piccola separazione tra angolo ragazzi/bambini e genitori come fossero in una piccola cameretta. Letti super comodi, da quello matrimoniale a quelli dei bambini. Nessuno sa parlare italiano,diversamente da quanto scritto qui su booking, compreso alla reception. Addirittura la mattina dell'arrivo, la signora alla nostra domanda "come mai non parla italiano" ,"e perché voi non parlate inglese?" Il tutto sorridendo sarcasticamente... a quel punto ho risposto che lei avrebbe dovuto visto che era scritto sulla loro pagina di booking e ha cambiato espressione. Inoltre era infastidita perché siamo arrivati alle 10 del mattino per lasciare le valigie, specificando che la camera si sarebbe liberata per le 15. Lo sapevamo, ma l'aereo era arrivato alle 9.30...di certo vagare per Malta con i trolley e due bambini non era il massimo. Insomma, accoglienza pessima. La camera: niente bidet, doccia in vasca con pericolo di scivolamento in quanto vasca classica. Bordo vasca non curato e tutto annerito. Tavoletta del water più piccola del water, non della sua misura. Nessuna presa in bagno per phon o rasoio elettrico. Illuminazione per truccarsi pessima. Ma almeno era un bagno con finestra. In camera frigo bar vuoto. Prese tutte all'inglese. Piscina piccolissima. Chiamano giardino uno spazio che per noi italiani è una veranda con delle piante, tante piante e ben curate ma sempre piante. Non è un giardino insomma. Per il prezzo che ha, non c'è un buon rapporto e la posizione è pessima se non hai un tuo mezzo. Non capisco i commenti positivi onestamente. Ha pro e contro, alcune cose di un hotel a 4 stelle, ma altre di un hotel a 3...farei una scelta diversa oggi.

We ate in the restaurant and food good but choose carefully as large menu. Staff friendly. Pool area whilst very nicely done can be busy and noisy. Lovely pool downstairs in Spa. I think this hotel is excellent value for money.

Couldn’t control AC so it was too hot at times especially during the night. Outdoor Pool was very small so having kids playing in it was disrupting other guests. Breakfast was ok but lacked healthy options. No drying racks in room so it’s impossible to dry swimwear. No laundry services.
- Kate (9/5): A very relaxing few days with sun, swimming, spa and very friendly people - The rooms were great, lovely and clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable and a choice of pillows meant that we both had a great nights sleep. Indoor pool was fantastic and provided a respite from the heat and, as it was so quiet, you could also escape other guests and just chill. The indoor pool was also open until 10pm so we could go out for dinner and still have a swim when we got back which, as it was 38 degrees when we were there, was very much enjoyed. I had 2 massages - both were great but the back massage with the male masseuse (sorry can't remember his name) was the best massage I have ever had, highly recommended. If I had to be picky - the food wasn't fantastic, it was ok but a bit basic but we tend to eat out on holiday anyway. The bar snacks especially were just lots of fried items, it would have been great to offer some cold offerings, salad or fruit as it was so hot. Maybe our fault for not having breakfast and missing the lunch hours on a couple of days as we didn't realise the time. The door handle on our sliding doors was broken at one end so could only open from the other end which was a bit tricky as it was very close to the bed and curtains - was just a bit of a faff. A bit more info on nearest sights/beaches/recommended restaurants to visit would have been great, although it was so hot we didn't really go anywhere - maybe next time!

Idéal pour un voyage en couple. La chambre était parfaite, avec une vue splendide. Le personnel est au petit soin, très aimable et réactif.
- larsonp76 (8/5): Perfect apart from Reception service - Everything in the hotel is perfect from the rooms to the service given by almost all staff apart from the Receptionist. She is arrogant. We had a voucher to be used. Once she scanned it and was ready for it I politely asked her if she could throw it away. Her reply was "You can do it it yourself". When we were ready from all the services and needed the room it was 15 minutes prior to the set 2.30. I politely asked her if maybe the room was ready at 2.15. She replied "No the offer is from 2.30 and you will not have it before then". I accept that there are rules that they need to abide by but a more polite answer would have been more appreciated. Apart from that all the other services were perfect. Perfect setting, perfect spa and spa staff, perfect food and perfect room and facilities.

Prior to booking, we specifically asked whether we would be allowed to use the pool area after checking out and were informed that this would be possible. Upon check-in, we reconfirmed this with the receptionist, who kindly clarified that we could stay by the pool as long as we found available deckchairs. However, on the day of checkout, although we managed to find free deckchairs, we were unexpectedly told by a different receptionist that we could not use them since we had already checked out. Unfortunately, her tone was dismissive and unprofessional, which left us feeling quite disappointed especially given the clarity we had received earlier. This inconsistency in communication and the way the situation was handled took away from what was otherwise a wonderful stay. The day of the checkout was 27/07/2025

- 236angiec (10/5): . “A Dreamy Stay at The Village in Malta” - A Perfect Little Gem in Malta – The Village Hotel I stayed at The Village boutique hotel in Naxxar, Malta, and it was absolutely lovely from start to finish! The staff were amazing – so friendly and helpful – and the food was delicious. The pool was just the right size, perfect for cooling off without any noise or crowds. The garden is full of beautiful plants and flowers, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. I booked Suite 306, which came with a private terrace and a lovely jacuzzi with cool water – a real lifesaver in the 39-degree heat! The downstairs bar was a great spot to relax with a cold beer, with perfect air conditioning to escape the sun. The village itself is really charming. There are cosy bars, cute coffee shops, and a stunning church just a 5-minute walk away. If you want a change of pace, there’s even a little sports bar just 2 minutes down the road. All in all, this is a perfect romantic escape, but it’s also ideal for families and solo travellers. Honestly, I can’t fault a single thing. The only problem? I don’t want to leave!

- Kamilah (2/5): - I came to this hotel seeking peace, but left physically harmed and emotionally drained. After reporting a large ant infestation in the bathroom sink, I was told the room would be cleaned and items replaced. Instead, while I stepped out briefly, hotel staff sprayed Baygon pesticide—a chemical insecticide—without notifying me, without ventilating the room, and without protecting my personal belongings, including my toothbrush and skincare items left near the sink. When I returned, the air was thick with fumes, the window was closed, and there was no cleanup. I received no warning and no support. I had to leave the room immediately with a headache and wait over an hour in the lobby. I later paid out of pocket to use the hotel’s sauna in an attempt to detox my system. The bathroom has no ventilation. The window opens to a hot wall of pipes. The AC recirculated the smell, making it hard to breathe. I had to wear a KN95 mask inside the room. I am immunocompromised and currently managing cancer, and I made this clear to staff. Still, I was met with no urgency or care. Baygon is dangerous to inhale, especially for someone with health conditions. Yet the next morning, ants were back in the same place. Kai at the front desk showed kindness and empathy. But overall, this experience was negligent and unsafe—especially for a hotel marketed as a wellness retreat. Guests with health sensitivities: be cautious. Management will treat you like an inconvenience

- rcC3347EX (10/5): Best Boutique Hotel - Just back from this beautify Boutique, from check in till we checked out was simply one of the best stays I've had in years. The Hotel is spotless, all staff are very welcoming and attentive. The room was a good sized room, very very conformable bedding. We had breakfast included with our stay and it was a very good choice as we where spoiled with all the different food options, we also had some meals in the hotel and the food is indeed very good, nice presentation good verity of salads (which was a plus for me) meat and fish options. Last but not least DO NOT MISS the Spa - Massage is the best!
