It's so clean, luxurious and calming. The pool amd the spa are amazing. We had a room with pool access amd I hardly recommend it. The food massage at the spa was also incredible. Thean was specifically kind with us at the happy hour and the dinner at the terrace. Ask for him to have the best experience.

The restaurant with a good variety of food both local and international 👌. Bar cosy place to relax in the evening. A small pool are but nice and cool during the hottest time of the day. Small spa with excellent massage. If you stay in Siem Reap and prefer to more peaceful surroundings this is the place. Center can be reached either by hotel shuttle or tuc tuc only 3-5 usd.

It is beautifully designed and spotlessly clean but what made it so special was the staff; to a person they were delightful. The front of house staff were some of the best I have come across, headed up by Mr Phat Ton. The waiting staff were also delightful and everyone was so helpful. The only name I can remember was Phaap who had such a personal touch. If you are staying in Siem Reap I would highly recommend staying here.

They learned our names the first day. Asked us genuinely about our day. The food was good, mostly westernized. The bed was very comfortable and the room was bright during the day and dark at night so I slept well. My only complaint is the shower. Poor design. Water leaks outside the shower. Location was good. Off the downtown area so was very quiet. About 5 minutes by tuktuk from town.

The hotel itself is beautiful, from the moment you walk in to the pool area, restaurant and room it is all high quality, clean and really authentic to Cambodia which we love. All of the staff have been incredibly friendly and helped us in every way they could. The Cambodian people have been some of the most welcoming we’ve met on our travels. All of the reception staff have been very helpful and everyone in the restaurant have been great. Pheap and Hun at breakfast have always been very friendly and offered great service. Rooms are clean, modern, and of a good size, and the overall atmosphere is calm and well maintained. Staff on site were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is workable: it takes around 10–15 minutes by vehicle to reach the city center. That said, there is nothing particularly nice or interesting within walking distance of the property itself. The restaurant overall is good, with pricing that feels fair and in line with the quality. Breakfast is a mixed experience. The buffet offering is below expectations; however, the tasty à-la-carte options can partially mitigate this. The main disappointment was communication before arrival. We contacted the hotel in advance to ask for suggestions and help organizing excursions, but the responses were unhelpful and poorly prepared. As a result, we ended up booking everything — airport transfers, guides, visits, and return transport — with an external company. Missed opportunity!

- Bosba (10/5): A boutique hotel where service is genuinely attentive and guest-focused - Anjali by Syphon exceeded my expectations. As a frequent visitor to Siem Reap who has stayed in everything from low-end to high-end, family-friendly and large hotels, I can honestly say this property offers something truly different: a boutique atmosphere paired with genuine five-star service. The staff are exceptional: attentive, highly trained, and fluent in English, and showed genuine interest in our needs, engaging with us as travellers rather than just guests. Each staff member’s individuality really stood out, which speaks highly of how the team is trained and valued. A special thank you to Thida and Smak (our driver) for their outstanding care during our stay! The hotel itself feels like a green oasis, with trees providing privacy and a calm, peaceful environment, perfect for a romantic escape or anyone seeking rest and tranquillity. Sustainability is clearly embedded throughout the property, from locally produced products and reduced plastic use to the saltwater pool. Our room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and there was no noise from neighbours or the street. As expected in a tropical climate, there are mosquitoes, but effective repellent is provided. Transportation was seamless and easy to arrange, with airport transfers including cold towels and fresh coconut water on arrival, free evening shuttles to town, and well-organised temple trips at fair prices with a consistent driver who made exploring effortless. Breakfast was excellent with both continental and Khmer options, the lunch and dinner menus were varied and well executed, and the cocktails were creative and delicious in a beautifully designed bar area. Anjali is an excellent choice for travellers seeking boutique charm, thoughtful sustainability, personalised service, and a peaceful setting. Top marks across the board.

L’hotel è leggermente distante dal centro città ma facilmente raggiungibile con un grab o un motorino.

As soon as we arrived, the hotel manager came to personally welcome us, which we found to be a very kind and thoughtful gesture – a reflection of the warm hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. We would especially like to highlight Pheap from the breakfast team, who greeted us every morning with a big smile and such a positive attitude. You can tell she loves what she does, and she does it wonderfully. People like her truly make a difference and elevate the experience. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay unforgettable. The hotell has great service from the staff, the rooms are great, and the food was amazing! Annie, Lux, Houen, Thean, and many more made our stay amazing! The hotell ticks all the boxes for a great experience and I can truly say that you get your moneys worth here! The staff are also extremely helpful when it comes to booking of things to do in Siem Reap, for example the sunrise tour of Angkor Wat and the humbling but great boatride to the floating village! Noi abbiamo scelto quello vista mare. Scelta azzeccata, dal letto vedevamo: sabbia bianca, palme e il mare. Camera ampia, pulita. Bagno bello. La doccia se il tempo è bello, la fai sotto un cielo di stelle. Uso gratuito di Sup e Kayak. Piccola area palestra all' aperto con anche il sacco da boxe, per me perfetto. Piscina bella, vista mare, pulita Massaggio ben fatto. Ristorante buono e prezzi onesti. Escursione notturna per vedere il plancton luminescente, da fare assolutamente. Noi ci siamo stati quattro giorni, ma avrei fatto anche di più. Tornerei se ci fosse l' occasione.

L' hotel è silenzioso, lontano dal caos del centro , che è raggiungibile comodamente in 10 minuti di motorino o tuk tuk. Tutto lo staff è molto premuroso, gentile e cortese. In particolare Hun e Pheap, bravissime. Abbiamo cenato tre volte, tutto ottimo e di qualità. Massaggi alla Spa da provare, noi abbiamo fatto due volte il massaggio BALINESE. Super. La nostra stanza era la Mini suite ubicata sul tetto, con tanto di vasca in camera e terrazzino privato. Bellissima. Siamo stati 6 giorni, tempo necessario se si vuole visitare bene l'area dei templi e vedere anche quelli più lontani come kho ker e Bean Malea. Se torneremo in Cambogia, torneremo in questo hotel. Also the service during breakfast and dinner is amazing, they are all very kind and friendly. During breakfast Pheap and Hun are always there for you with a smile on their face. The chef is top rating and all the plates that we tasted were always unforgettable, a mix of tradition and innovation. We recommend to do a massage, that will renew you on the body and in mind. That was an amazing staying!

The rooms are spacious, the staff (especially Theon and Phepa) were friendly and very kind and helpful. We asked about massages and got scheduled within 30 minutes. Angkor Wat was amazing, if hot, so coming back to Anjali's peaceful//cool pool was a real treat!

Being so close to Angkor Wat makes it such a convenient choice too. This is definitely a hotel I would stay at again; it’s stunning and deserves a lot of praise.

I highly recommend it! - I did a lot of research before I decided to stay at Anjali by Syphon during my recent solo trip to Siem Reap (July 29-August 5th). It was my first time in Cambodia. They perfected hospitality and took it to the next level of excellence! I travel a lot and this was by far the best place that is not too big and not too small, a perfect hidden gem between beautiful tall trees. What made Anjali by Syphone so special is that I never felt like a stranger in a foreign country. When they picked me up from the airport I felt like I came back to see my best friends and family. Thida became my friend instantly and my driver Mr. Kouy made me feel like a princess (very kind person with the best smile, always had cold towels and water ready for me). My tour guide Mr. Horm made my trip to Cambodia unforgettably magical (I learned so much from him). Annie provided a wealth of excellent suggestions. Most importantly, a huge thank you to their boss Mr. Ton who kept everything well orchestrated (without his continuous support, love for excellence and hospitality, and kind heart it would not be possible). In addition, their spa services were amazing! I tried Hot stone massage, Four hand massage, and Anjali Calm spa package. Their restaurant offered delicious options for breakfast and dinner. Anjali hotel’s customer service was perfect and I was amazed at the communication level between all team members. I emailed the Anjali team my wish list for tours and my preference for transportation ahead of time and Thida organized it perfectly. When it comes to the room it was clean, very comfortable, and well thought through. The hotel is located away from the busy loud center which gives you an opportunity to relax and at the same time it is easily accessable (plus hotel will arrange transportation when needed). I truly enjoyed my stay. I am now in love with the Cambodia and Anjali team. I hope to come back soon. I am already recommending Anjali by Syphon to my friends and family.

- ArchanaS352 (10/5): 5* all the way - It’s not very often I write reviews about places, but this one deserves a mention. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay here. From the pre arrival communication, check in, rooms (oh the rooms!), that divine pool and that oh so personal service - it’s all 5*. It’s perfect for a romantic getaway or with grown up kids. Don’t get me wrong, they looked after my 9 and 11 year old perfectly, but I felt we may have been a little disruptive for their other clients. If I was to nitpick, I’d say it’s a little far from Siem reap town centre (but easily reachable by Tuk tuk), and breakfast options slightly limited - I would have preferred more fruit choices. Definitely not a deal breaker! Thank you to all at Anjali by Syphon for a truly memorable stay. I would gladly return if we were to come back to Siem Reap.

Not only is it a little Oasis tucked a few mins away from the city but the service is out of this world! It's a cozy hotel, with only a few rooms booked due to the start of the rainy season in Cambodia. It often made us feel privileged. The place itself is full of vegetation, which gave the impression of being straight into the jungle. We ate a few times lunch/dinner in the restaurant, althrough choices were limited due to low season, quality was good. It's easy to a take tuk-tuk towards city centre. Would definitely recommend it! At some point, we had an unpleasant visit of cockroaches in our room. We addressed the issue and staff went to clean our room. However, issue persisted, and we switched rooms. It was an upgrade to suite, so that was appreciated!

We told the desk that we wanted to see sunrise at Angkor, and Annie was so kind enough to get a tuktuk at 5am AND pack us a breakfast to go to eat on our way there. We opted to have dinner at the hotel for our entire stay and never had the same thing twice! As we were in Cambodia over a national holiday, we were happy to stay in a place that was not in the downtown. Would highly recommend!

The staff are attentive, helpful and friendly. Our room allowed us direct entry to the sheltered pool. The accommodation was excellent as was the food in the restaurant. We had a 5am start for the temples and the staff kindly arranged a breakfast bag for us to take with us. While Anjali is a little further away from the bustle of downtown Siem, there are loads of tuk tuks that can take you in for a small cost. A great experience all round

We had a room on the pool so could jump right from our patio into the pool. Since you aren’t in the heart of the town, it is peaceful and quiet. They offer a ride into town if you want to go. We also had massages there. They were exceptional. We would go back in an instant if we were in Siem Reap. One of the best places we’ve stayed!

The hotel was beautiful and very comfortable for our stay. We also were able to book several experiences through the hotel and had a spa treatment, which was one of the best massage of our lives! I'd highly recommend staying at Anjali. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the city center, which we actually preferred. They offer free shuttles at night and Grab taxis are very cheap, so it wasn't an issue at all. Just good to know!

Annie at reception was extremely helpful advising where to visit, how and when and organising transport via the hotel Tuk Tuk. The drivers were so helpful and amenable. Waiting for you outside wherever you went and providing cold towels and bottles of cold water on your return to the Tuk Tuk. The property is beautiful and the beds were so comfortable probably the best bed I’ve slept in with great pillows. The food was great and good value. Had a great time.

My room was on an upper floor almost "screened" with greenery. The balcony has an electric fan, which meant I actually enjoyed spending time out there - listening to the water and the birds. The food here is outstanding. And I felt especially taken care of by the breakfast staff. The reception staff were equally supportive and friendly. I had a great massage at their spa, as well. I would be very happy to return to this hotel.
