Short walking distance to everything and if you need transportation assistance they are extremely helpful and can assist with all your needs. No complaints, wonderful experience.
- Michael (6/5): Large Room But No Real TV With Channels - No TV, really. A "Smart" TV, hooked up to You Tube, so no channels and difficult to maneuver. At best, could see excerpts of news shows but not English channels like CNN or BBC. Only hotel that charged 3% extra to pay with credit card. Staff occasionally missing at front desk, with only cleaning staff who spoke no English. Frustrating when your was late and no one could call them to check. Owner friendly and helpful when Air Cambodia canceled my flight back to Phnom Pehn and I had to get a 6 hour bus ride due to flight in Phnom Pehn the day after departure. Shower hard to maneuver. Her kids showed me how to use it. General area, though, was superb, with popular Pub Street and many restaurants and nightlife only a block or so away. No electronic key. Had to use long key for room and another for safe.

Put a do not disturb on first thing then changed it to please clean. The girl i spoke to said they hadnt checked again from initially looking at the do not disturb. Had to do the ckean towel walk if shame from reception

- Jamie (6/5): - Only a 3 star rating, mainly re the property needs a little attention. First period stayed fourth floor had own wifi for the level. However, wifi was poor on first floor, as it was shared from reception on ground floor. Initially had an issue with payment by card, however, manager allowed me to settle in room first and go to atm to withdraw cash. Seemed to be hospitable most of the time, but hardly greeted when didn’t suit. Owners children, were well behaved and polite, and always said hello when walking past reception.

Lastly breakfast isn’t a Buffett and it’s very pricey for what I got.

I was enjoying a relaxing time by the pool with other guests who were on a month long trip around Southeast Asia, they said they had stay at many hotels, at least 14 on their trip and they were absolutely thrilled with Chayylong Angkor Boutique, they said it was without a doubt the nicest hotel the have stayed in on their entire trip. I highly recommend this hotel to any and everyone traveling to Siem Reap, you will not be Disappointed. Thank you so much to the entire staff at Chaaylong Angkor Boutique hotel.
- Kenneth (10/5): - This is an absolute wonderful place to stay, The entire Hotel is super clean and very well maintained. The entire staff at this hotel are amazing, they go above and beyond to attend to every guests needs and anything you may need you can be certain they will be there to help. The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed was amazing allowing for a good nights sleep, the shower was large with plenty of hot water and great water pressure, the Air Conditioner worked great so I could always cool down after a hot day outside. This hotel truly is a wonder of Siem Reap and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. If you are looking for transportation to go any where at all the staff will arrange it for you so you can feel at ease knowing you are in good hands and well taken care of, it is absolutely wonderful.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to anything you need or the hotel will find very kind and helpful transportation to anywhere if you need. The staff are hands down the best, they will always make you feel like family and go to any lengths to help. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone whether your traveling with family or your a solo traveler its safe, Quiet and always warm and welcoming.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t do it, not even for the price. - We had a very bad experience at this hotel. I reserved a 2 King bed suite and we were given a room with a King size bed and one twin bed and another small “twin bed” but looked more like a couch. There was a terrible odor coming from the bathroom that smelled like sewage, to the point where I almost vomited . We walked into the bathroom with a dead fly (so obviously it had not been cleaned). The towel provided to us had holes. And to top it off, there were cockroaches and that fell from the ceiling light and one on the ground. Management thankfully refunded me $100 but kept the other $150 we paid for the first night. After explaining everything to her, she responded with “the other person who left didn’t tell us there were any of these problems and you should’ve told us last night and I would’ve moved you.” She was very apologetic and offered us 2 rooms free of charge but the experience the first night was so bad, they could’ve paid me money and I wouldn’t have stayed another night. We had an excursion planned for 4:30am so dealing with this issue at 11:30pm was not the best idea. We dealt with it once we got back from our excursion. Part of me feels bad leaving a bad review because I know their business is their money maker but I feel like I need to be honest so folks don’t make the same mistake I did. I had my elderly parents with me and these accommodations were completely unacceptable. I would recommend spending a little more money at a different hotel.

The hotel manager is a fantastic resource, as she will help you book events and transportation if you’d like, for a very fair price. The hotel room was very quiet and just as described. The AC worked great. However, the Wifi was a bit sporadic and struggled with streaming video and Zoom calls. Would recommend getting data if you plan to work or watch videos.

Pillows and duvet had the odor of all the others that have used it. They need a wash/refresh not just clean linens over them. Bed was comfortable and location was great that is what was good. - Richard (4/5): - Think twice before booking. Mostly interested in selling tours. Woman at front desk seemed irritated when I wasn't ready to book something upon completing check-in. And when I did book, I received very little information - it was as though I was supposed to remember everything from the initial description. I was given no receipt or itinerary - everything was verbal and I had to make my own notes and verify later. I was able to move from 1st to 2nd floor after one night so that I wouldn't have a view of the lounge chairs and any people at the pool, so that was good. Clearly, this was a decent property at one time as the room was well designed, but it's not well maintained. Lighting - one bulb out, one dim, and in the bathroom one flickering. Bathroom lighting so bad, I had great difficulty putting in contact lens. Some days the towels were old, frayed and ripped. The mattress top bed was decent, but sagged in the middle. Bed cover sheet had small dark spots. I only had breakfast on the first day - the fruit was good, but otherwise it was terrible. Some noise from outside and other rooms. None of these are unbearable, but the little things add up. The room was clean, the curtains were dark and the location was good. Also, the tuk tuk driver for the hotel was very nice during the two days he took me on tours of Angkor Wat. For the same price, or just a few dollars more, you can probably find a better place to stay.

We also used the hotel tuk tuk (upto 4 people) to do the tour of the temples, the driver was very good, not just taking us to each temple and waiting for us, but also showing us where to go at each stop, highly recommend him. Nothing not to like.

The hotel was good, worth 7.0, definitely not excellent. Not worth $44/night - $33-$35 would be more appropriate Internet was slow TV channel was being connected to YouTube. Breakfast was whatever you are served. One day I had an omelette, next day I had cereal. Staff was nice, pool was nice, and they rented bicycles. This is not a “bad” review, but I feel 7.0 is a fair rating for this hotel. For comparison, I moved to Ta Prohm hotel (about 100 meter away - beautiful hotel with wood) cost $40/night, very good internet, buffet breakfast, over TV channels many in English.
- Yogendra Pratap (10/5): - This place is good and near by pub street, shopping center and market place. Place is spacious and quiet and clean.
- Kenneth (10/5): - The absolute most helpful and kind staff of any place I have stayed in Siem Reap. They were always available to answer any questions and give guidance when needed. The Best in Siem Reap in my opinion, I always felt as if they were there just for me.
- Marilyn (8/5): Beautiful fresh breakfast and great pool - Again the staff are amazing in Asia and this one is no different. You are a 2 minute walk to Pub Street, market and night market. Found a great shop with the prices on stuff so you get an idea. Coming out of Pub St turn right, cross the road walk about 6 shops, cross the road and second shop. Use the hotel tuk tuk you will not get ripped off. If your going to get ripped off it will be by a tuk tuk. Same drivers all the time. Great pool and pool area. Lovely fresh cooked breakfast each morning. Each day your eggs are done different and beautiful fresh fruit. Only 2 things that I could pick on was the door to your room needs replacing. So it’s more soundproof. Towels could be up dated but we have had 100 worse in the USA. I would book here again 100% Had a late check out and room upgrade. I would have liked an extra 2 days in the area. But I guess we will have to come back and would only look at booking here. Bar and spa have closed due to covid. Not a big deal just walk 1 minute and you can find both. Plus 7/11 2 minute walk

Very happy with the room and great value for money. Basically only U tube available on tv as only option for English speakers. Nice pool area. I would return to this hotel. Highly recommend.

Although we didn’t use their booking services for tours they were extremely well organised and they assisted with airport pickup and bus leaving. Room was huge and large balcony. Pool very nice.

- Liana (10/5): Great service, great location, and a great price! - This hotel was very cozy! Free wifi, a fridge, a cheap price for a great location, the rooms were clean and without any bugs or lizards (which I’ve heard is a problem in Cambodia — a first for a New Yorker like me) and the staff was extremely nice. The owner of the hotel (who often sat at the front desk herself) gave me advice on what to see and would even purchase tickets for me for the next day so I didn’t have to worry about it! She also arranged for the hotel’s designated tuk tuk driver to take me from place to place the entire day (there is no public transit in Cambodia) for only $5, which seems to be much cheaper than the street tuk tuk prices from what I could see. After a long day of visiting temples (starting at 4:25 am) I greeted the hotel owner while she was eating lunch and she even gave some of her fruit to me. We had a warm chat and she made me feel welcome (this was my first big international trip alone and I was slightly nervous). Since my flight was early in the morning, she even arranged for a takeaway box for breakfast (a must if you do a sunrise tour of Angkor Wat, which I also recommend) so I could eat on the way to the airport. I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel for anyone who appreciates these attributes in a hotel!

However the hotel is a walking distance to Pub Street were you can find restaurants, shops, market, cooking classes, etc. I feel very safe walking at night. The hotel provides a lot of support and information. As I was travelling on my own, they recommended a TukTuk driver for 3 days, so I visited all the temples. Staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean. I highly recommend this hotel

- Patrick (10/5): - Stayed for 7 nights (as well as a separate booking for family members, for 4 nights.) All the staff (& Ponn’s kids!) are lovely. Our rooms were adjoined (which included upgrading one of the bookings - thankyou Ponn!) Rooms are very clean, & very comfortable, with good aircon, & large bathrooms with good showers. The pool is big, & clean & cold - perfect when returning from the temples, or exploring Siem Reap on a hot day. Location is good proximity to Pub Street, market, riverside, restaurants & bars (but far enough away that it is not negatively impacted by noise.) Hotel is very secure - door is locked at night, but manned so guests can come & go 24/7. Wifi connection is good, but can be temperamental (as to be expected in Siem Reap.) Drinks are available at the bar, & breakfast is available (I didn’t try the latter.) Ponn can organise anything that guests need - thankyou for arranging our transport to Phnom Penh. One piece of feedback: housekeeping service is good, & staff are very friendly, but timing of housekeeping could be a bit more consistent. Thankyou to Ponn & everyone at Chhay Long for a wonderful stay =)

The lady at the front was exceptional. In addition, the front desk people are very helpful and speak excellent English. I highly recommend this hotel.

- Rachel (10/5): Cute Hotel in Great Location - This hotel is perfect for a stay in Siem Reap. It was a short walk to Pub Street for amazing food and drink options. They offered an airport pick up service that was super convenient, and we were able to use the same tuk tuk driver for an all day tour of Angkor Wat, as well as airport drop off. We weren’t here long, but the hotel was perfect for our short stay! Would stay again if we return to Siem Reap.
