• Valérie (8/5): Hôtel soigné et confortable, très bien placé mais néanmoins préservé du tumulte du centre historique - Chambres magnifiques (superbe hauteur sous plafond et décoration soignée) et bien équipées dans une ancienne fabrique de tabac transformé en centre culturel . Personnel charmant. Emplacement très sympa pour découvrir la ville (même à pied), dans un quartier un peu à l’écart du centre historique hyper touristique L’hôtel est juste derrière la gare et pour rejoindre le centre historique il faut emprunter un passage souterrain qui peut être un peu « peureux » de nuit …
• Tim (5/5): Comfortable but lack of facilities for the price - The location was quiet and the hotel is close to the coach station. The mezzanine room was small and it felt like the industrial design was more important than soft comfort. The room lacked natural light. The breakfast offer was limited and some foods had run out before service ended.

• Saskia (6/5): - Ligging van de accommodatie is goed, als je niet middenin het centrum wil zitten maar wel op loopafstand (ca 15min) van het centrum. De oorspronkelijke kamer was heel warm en benauwd, raam kon niet open, rioolgeluiden. Na melden bij de receptie wel netjes opgelost met een andere kamer. Op het plein voor de accomodaties hangen minder frisse types. Geen nare situaties meegemaakt maar geeft geen prettig en veilig gevoel. Receptie spreekt minimaal Engels en is niet zo gastvriendelijk (wellicht door taalbarrière).

• Beverley (7/5): Conveniently located, comfortable hotel - The room was very comfortable and clean with a fridge and a kettle for tea and coffee. Very convenient for the bus station and the old town. The hotel ran out of milk cartons for the room. You are perfectly safe in the area but it is quite mixed and travellers could feel a little uncertain walking around late at night
• Don (7/5): Nice room but disappointing in many particulars. - Room was large, pleasant, bed comfortable, location excellent. The absence of a simple capsule-based espresso machine was sorely missed; most Spanish hotels seem to have them and I was surprised that I couldn't even get one "on loan" by request. The room has a pleasant upstairs loft area, with a hot plate, where visitors can brew tea or instant coffee, but that area was not refreshed by the room service person after our first night. We checked in on a sunday afternoon, and the duty clerk was rather grim and unsmiling in manner-- which might have been because she had to answer "no" to many of our questions. The hotel website has a download room service sheet which implies many food items available, but doesn't state anywhere that the Tabakalera site does not have room service at all.

• Cory (6/5): Not good value for money or 4 stars. - The room was not noise proof - we had a connecting door with another room and could hear them watching tik toks, coughing, morning alarms, foot steps walking around and just general conversation like they were in the same room (they were not yelling or obnoxiously loud either). Could hear them go to the toilet for example while we were laying in bed at night. Gym was also poor - no equipment more than 10kg and tiny space only 2 people could work out at once.

• Maria (10/5): - Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, alle unsere Anliegen wurden beantwortet, die Unterkunft war sauber, verfügte über ein modernes Bad, und das Bett war bequem. Auch die zentrale Lage in Nähe des Busbahnhofes war praktisch. Lärmbelästigung im großen, geräumigen Gebäude gab es nicht, wir waren auch nicht vom Verkehr umgeben. Vor dem Eingang befand sich ein großer Platz, und die Straße in der Nähe war nicht breit, eher ruhig. Dass die Rezeption auch in der Nacht besetzt war, fand ich beruhigend.

On vous dit que c’est moins cher.....vous gagnez 10€ ce qui est ridicule! Cela fait du 25€/jour ce qui est exagéré surtout pour une chambre de presque 400€! C’est abusé

It smelled. The lobby, especially the lifts, the passageways and the rooms. You can’t open the window so reliant on ac only.

• Emmy (8/5): - Rooms are very modern and well appointed. Quiet and close to the train station. Staff was understanding when I made a booking error. I had a booking error that meant I was overcharged. There wasn't very good ventilation in the rooms and the windows were sort of weird to open (double panes shared with a neighboring room and no screens)

• Christopher (5/5): Attention au personnel - Les équipements et la chambre étaient très bien. L'accueil du dimanche était catastrophique. La personne nous a à peine parlé. Je lui ai demandé de l'aide pour savoir si ma voiture était bien garée elle m'a dit oui. Résultat ; voiture à la fourrière et 200€ pour la récupérer. Le lendemain (lundi), la personne était beaucoup plus sympa mais le mal était fait. Autre point ; des groupes assez nombreux zonent devant l'hôtel.

• Jon (6/5): Escapada de fin de semana en pareja - Lo que más me gustó fue que las habitaciones están bien equipadas y resultan bastante cómodas. Además, si buscas estar cerca de opciones de ocio nocturno, conciertos y actividades culturales más alternativas, la ubicación puede ser un punto fuerte interesante. Lo que menos me gustó fue que, para tratarse de un hotel de 4 estrellas, no cumple del todo con las expectativas. La zona de acceso puede generar cierta sensación de inseguridad según la hora del día, y el olor intermitente a desagüe en el baño resulta desagradable.

• Rafael (9/5): Ideal para conocer San Sebastián sin prisas - Nos gustó mucho la ubicación, el ambiente tranquilo y la atención. Ideal para un fin de semana en pareja. Muy cerca del Centro. Quizás a la habitación le falta cierta comodidad pero en general está bien. Los alrededores al principio parecen un poco inseguro por la cantidad de migrantes pero están a lo suyo y no causan problemas. El Desayuno está bien, correcto, sin ser nada del otro mundo pero cumple su función.

• markcU9576YS (10/5): A Really good stay - We booked this at short notice as we didn't intend on coming to San Sebastian. The hotel is lovely and we were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. They were very clean. The hotel is located adjacent to the main bus station and also railway. It also has shopping close and also convenience stores and also a short walk to restaurants. We really loved our stay and Gabriel who checked us in was really helpful. Stay here if you are in San Sebastian.

• Maria Mar (8/5): Una estancia tranquila y confortable - El diseño de la habitación, la limpieza y el silencio. No se escuchaban otras personas, tuberías etc… Hacia un poco de calor en la habitación y aunque había aire acondicionado no quería dormir con el aire puesto muy bajo

Además de no tener aparcamiento es complicado acceder con coche y no hay zona de carga o descarga de maletas. La habitación del tipo buhardilla no tenía ventanas accesibles ni vistas. No me gustó la sensación de estar encerrado.

Central location. Bathroom with handrails which we did not request for or need, very small window that we couldn’t open . Area very public and a lot of bystanders due to museum and train nearby.
