- Nikolai (10/5): Отличное место! - Месторасположение, вид из окна, персонал
- Daniela (9/5): -
- Doğa Doğu (10/5): - Good wifi, hot water, great scenery, super cute balcony, warm bed sheet, great location The hot water stream was a bit low but no big issue
- Guido (8/5): -
- Paulo (8/5): Nice stay but cold - The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and table. The staff was very kind and helpful. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Location was great, on the main street and five minutes walk from the airport. Late March was still fairly cold at around zero C, thus the absence of heating made the room quite uncomfortable. The shower, which uses a solar heater, was also cold even after they turned on the electric auxiliary heater. This may not be an issue later in the season.
- Daryl (10/5): Family run business with exceptional service! - It’s a family business so your happiness is their priority. The son whose English is perfect, was the standout as he could and did, fix every request I made. Great value, superb location and excellent service I feel aghast to say anything negative, but in truth, the property is colder than most - which you can turn into a positive if you’re heading up to EBC!
- Sean (1/5): Terrible place. Won’t negotiate. Rude - Terrible. They wouldn’t refund me.
- Lasse (10/5): - Restaurant is very good, great food. Atmosphere chill and welcoming. Will stay again. Hot water shover :) Bit cold in the room but good blankets..
- Michael (10/5): Perfect for our stay in Lukla before our flight. - This is a family run hotel, and they cared for us like one of their own.
- Peter (8/5): Lukla accommodation - Roof top room once walked up stairs was open and comfortable with a view of valley, planes and choppers landing. All good
- Sarah (9/5): Great budget hotel in super location - Right in the centre of town, nice touch having a heater and heated blanket for cold mountain nights. Small balcony with Mountain View’s. Also I had booked 2 nights and could only stay one and the owner amended my booking very kindly.
- Over (8/5): Very good -
- Martin (8/5): Very good - The location was fantastic The shower
- Samantha (10/5): Highly recommend Lama hotel. Best and friendliest in Lukla - Great location and proper Nepali family run business. Good facilities and arguably the best food and service in Lukla. Nothing.
- Ryan (10/5): Excellent - Epic view from the penthouse room
- Ryan (10/5): Go for the penthouse room - Excellent customer service. The penthouse has epic views, well worth it!
- Pawan (9/5): Bakery fan pls do visit. Excellent hosts and can help for issues related to travel. - The hosts were wonderful and accommodating. We got some extended help in getting our currency issue solved. the facility was very quite and clean. Best and affordable croissant in town with latte...must visit if you are a bakery fan. Overall service and food quality was very good. One room without jet-spray.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Silvia (9/5): Superb -
- Kseniia (2/5): I don't recommend anyone to stay here. Dirty rooms, no hot shower, food is not fresh. Owner was rude. - Nothing. Just if you want to stay in 1 night and freeze to death. Rude stuff, cold rooms and disgusting food
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Iris (9/5): Thank you very much again for the stay and for the help!!!! - We can totally recommend staying at Lama Hotel in Lukla. The staff was so friendly, kind and attentive. We felt really taken care of - all of the family helped us organizing another option as our flights got cancelled…..the food was super (we had dinner and breakfast there) the street nice and good to do some shopping before heading back ;-) We did not have a hot shower, but it was already late when we tried turning on the water and we didn‘t ask further as it was ok for us:-)
- Ksenia (9/5): Good food free shower - We stayed one extra night due to cancellation of our flight for less money. The food was good. Free warm shower, free charging, free WiFi The room is not so nice and tidy like on photos
- Wendy (10/5): I enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend this place especially the deluxe room - The hospitality of the host was exceptional. Nothing was too much for Lakpar Laman( sorry if I spelt your name wrong). Lakpar ( the owner)was really helpful and sorted out any issues that we encountered,with a smile.He went above and beyond what was expected of him as a host. And the food??. Was to die for. Food was really good and the portions were great. We also gathered a lot of general information about Nepal and the owner made time to talk and explain things to us. I would certainly recommend Lama hotel and would definitely stay there again if I’m in the region.We found that we were not just treated as a number but as people that are valued and respected. It was the first time that we got complimentary water and even coffee before we checked out. The room was high and we could see Lukla airport from our room window. The room was as in the photos and was very cosy. We got our food delivered to our room which was a luxury for us in Lukla The fact that there was no handrails on the upper floor stairs
- Vipin (5/5): You check in, sleep awoke and get out - Prime location No any arrangment in washroom no tisu paper no paper soap no bucket no mug, in room not a single glass of water, Hotel owner refused to provide any facilities, a single cup of tea he don't provide
- עינת (5/5): Passable - Relatively comfortable rooms It is a quite disrespectful hotel
The owner insisted that Booking did not deliver the payment, although it was indicated in the application. He refused to receive dollar', and we were left without cash. We still do not know if wepaidd twice
- Netta (8/5): A friendly, clean place to spend the night - Great location, right on the "strip", and only a few minutes away from the airport (convenient for the early take off back to Kathmandu). Also, the place is family owned and the couple running it is extremely kind and helpful. The food is excellent and the rooms are clean. The water pressure in the shower was nearly non existent, and no hot water came out, even after waiting 10 minutes.
- Amit (3/5): Poor -
- Alan (8/5): Lovely place in Lukla - everything you need - Check in was easy, right at the aiport (a stones throw away) staff were really friendly, the food and drinks were quality.. they confirmed my flight times, there was a electric blanket and hot shower.. wifi decent as well.. Dogs barking all night.. but not the hotels fault
- Joseph (7/5): Good -
- Oriol (8/5): Very good - The Location, the place itself No complaints
- Bill (5/5): Just an OK place but at a high price - The front desk staff were very helpful. We left a bag at the hotel at the start of our trek and it was waiting for us when we got back. We had a large room and the beds were comfortable enough My biggest complaint was the state of repair. There was continuous water on the floor in the toilet that came from somewhere (I hate to guess where) and the carpet was in very sad shape. There was also a lot of noise though some of this came from outside and wasn't the hotel's fault. Overall it was a bit worse than the other tea houses we had on our three week trek but it was a lot more expensive.
- Richard (7/5): Good -
- Peter (4/5): Not reccomendef - Location Price did not represent good
value
- Stacey (10/5): Beyond helpful - The staff are beyond helpful. also right next to the airport. My husband had fell over and hurt his ankle on the EBC trek. . The owner carried his bag to the airport to help me as I would have had to do a couple of runs to get my husband and luggage to the airport. Very attentive. Nothing. The staff make everything perfect
- Zdenka (7/5): Good - Hotel is new or after reconstruction so room was clean and nice, kind personnel, functional WiFi without next charge. Location next airport. Room without toalet and bathroom and without heating.
- Ricardo (10/5): Perfect place and helpful staff - I was offered the best room (roof top), super big, comfortable, clean etc. Manager was amazing, helping me beyond accommodation.
- Judy (8/5): Basic hotel. The hotel did fill up in the afternoon so having a reservation was helpful. - Nice staff and restaurant. Attached bath and hot shower were nice. Shouldn’t advertise things like fireplace, bathtub, washing machine, and private entrance when these features are not present for any of the rooms in this hotel.
- Svetlana (5/5): Passable - location. friendly staff terribly cold room! the furniture is old. There was no hot water, although it was advertised. terribly icy floor in the bathroom, having a rug would be a great solution to the problem. The guest house as a whole looks very old, if you are looking for comfort, then everything is bad here. It was very cold in the common rooms (restaurant, living room), I had to put on all my warm clothes. I understand that the weather conditions in this place are harsh, but I still hope that Staff will respond to the comments.
- Masanori (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gregfra (10/5): Exceptional - Very kind staff that anwser all our question and help you the best they could
- Kristopher (10/5): Exceptional - The owner here was one of the most pure and accommodating people I met on my trek. He was nice enough to tell me about Buddhism, recommend guides and even pointed me to the local monastery where a celebration and all day prayer were happening.
Just a kind soul.
- Anonymous (7/5): good price and great burger - -good price
-the burger i had for dinner was maybe one of the best I’ve had in my life
-great view over the village -was not able to get warm water for taking a shower
-no soap for washing hands in the room
-while having dinner employee was watching reels on full volume
- Sigita (9/5): Superb - Food was great! Staff very helpfull and professional.
Dining room very cozy. To Nepalese standards, all good.
Could be warmer in the room.
- Michal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vlad (9/5): Superb - I liked the staff a lot. Very helpful and respectful. The hotel itself is better than most other guest houses I've stayed in the Everest region. If you are on your way to the area, simply get prepared to live on much less. If you get hot water, free wifi, electricity and a warm blanket - you already hit the jackpot, add a decent restaurant with tasty coffee and great burgers and you are way ahead of the game, add a nice view rooftop and you get the Lama. Cheers to all.
- David (7/5): Humbling and awsome - Nice and the "t" was lovely....................... just go see for yourself, its an amazing experience Lukla Nothing, its half way up a Mountain and you get looked after, great first view of the scale of the place...
- Kristina (9/5): We stayed at Lama Hotel before and after our trekking trip in the Himalayas and enjoyed it very much! - Nice and very welcoming place. Heated Blankets and very good food! The owner helped us with everything from preparing our trip to arranging the flight back to Kathmandu. Great experience!
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to relax after a trek. Lovely views from terrace, and bedroom.
- Manjinder (5/5): Passable -
- Dave (8/5): I was met at airport and escorted to the hotel.. All the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.. The food and beverages a - Excellent views from my top floor room.. Very good food.. Amazing staff and service.. Excellent meet and greet by hotel staff when I arrive at airport.. Very good guide and hiking options.. Any trips, hikes, flights,helicopters can be arranged at a good price.. Nothing… Excellent value for money paid…
- Liam (10/5): Exceptional - Could not have been better looked after. Staff were lovely. Extremely attentive and super helpful. Beyond friendly. Bring a warm sleeping bag and don't expect luxury high in the Himalayas and you'll be pleased with your stay.
- Pete (10/5): Exceptional -
- Guy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ethel (6/5): Pleasant - Location was fine, staff ok No heating in the room. Was too cold
- Leszek (9/5): Superb -
- Tomáš (9/5): Superb - it looked like the best room in the hotel, beautiful view of the airport, quiet room, quiet, heated blankets, warm shower
- Reid (9/5): Superb - Great place to stay, super friendly and helpfull staff and good food.
- Anna (9/5): Perfect spot - This place exceeded our expectations. The owners and staff were absolutely amazing. We had one night here before our flight back from Lukla. They arranged breakfast to be made before we went to the airport (before 5 am!). The room was on the rooftop with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains and the airstrip to watch the planes and helis. It had a clean ensuite bathroom, which was appreciated even more after 2 weeks in the mountains. I would definitely stay again!
- Agnieszka (10/5): Nice room with gorgeous view:) - Nice room with gorgeous view and very nice and hospitality Staff ! Everything was fine!
- Henry (4/5): Disappointing - Quite dirty, no hot water, nobody there when i wanted have breakfast.
- Jason (5/5): It served it’s purpose but could’ve been much better. - The food was good. All the staff was friendly. No heat at sub-freezing temperatures. No hot water for shower.
- Dmitrii (10/5): Good stay before flight to KTM - - 5 minutes to airport;
- very good salads in restoraunt menu;

- hot blankets included in price in deluxe room;
- luggage room, where I keeped bag during trek;
- deluxe room on the top floor with beautifil view;
- tasty cakes on reception;

- Verified traveler (4/5): Give it a miss - Proprietor clearly not interested in his business
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful family-run hotel with a terrific restaurant. Highly recommended!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful owners with very helpful information and great restaurant.
- Suzanne (8/5): Pleasantly Surprised! - Everyone at the hotel was wonderful and did their best to make sure we were comfortable. They had a TV in the main area which was awesome because most hotels in the village do not!
- Yvan (6/5): Lodge well located in Lukla - Personnal was nice and polite
Nice terrasse on the top of building where it is nice to sit to relax or eat when sun is shinning
Otherwise the place is rather dark not alot of light
Food is ok but not as good as other places we tried in Lukla
They have TV in all commom areas which are always on
First evening we had diner in the dining room with the owners kid watching TV all evening long beside us while he could had been in another room
We did not eat there after that we went to other lodges more quiet
