- The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file.

- Hideki (10/5): Decent All Inclusive Deals - This is modernized facility that offers so many services and events on site. I enjoyed dining services on specific hours, and structures of this facility were astonishingly beautiful. My only issue was that the Japanese-western style room that i booked had mediocre view from window that kinda ruined the value of money.

- NOSE (6/5): 子供連れならオススメ - お部屋は広くて掃除も行き届いてた。 でもお風呂が暑いのが苦手で電話で確認したら、温度低く出来るし、水も出るから ぬるくなると言ってたのに、温度下げてもらっても普通に暑い。水は出ない。仕方ないので近くのホームセンターに行ってホースを買って来てシャワーの蛇口から水を引きました。 ご飯は本当に驚く程沢山ある。 朝夜に加えて早めに着いたら軽くランチがあっったり夜食があって充実してた。 ただクオリティーは、そんなに高くない。普通。あれだけの食事の量があれば仕方ない。たまにはブュッフェもいいかな？って感じ。 子供連れの人にはとてもオススメです。

- David (6/5): - The Momiji suite is not what is pictured on Expedia. The description says open air bath, and shows a picture of a hot tub with floor to ceiling sliding doors. This is false! The hot tub room is completely enclosed with NO Open Air. Therefore the hot tub room air is close to the 40C/104F temperature of the tub. This promotes mold growth on the walls. The buffet is cheap food and the same every day. We saw between 4 and 7 tour busses stopping for just 1 night. That seems to be their target market. I do not recommend for vacation.

- David (6/5): - Disappointing! We booked the Momiji suite which is huge, clean and nice. But the “open air” bath tub is not at all open air. The private bath is enclosed in its own room which stays steamy 24/7, so the air is 40C/104F. This makes mold grow on the walls. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The included food is a mediocre quality buffet that is exactly the same every day. It seems like Kinugawa has not recovered from Covid, as the town shuts down around 4:30 and there are very limited restaurant options when you get tired of the hotel buffet. On a positive note, Nikko National Park has many spectacular natural wonders. We thoroughly enjoyed hiking and mountain biking here.

- Verified traveler (10/5): リピれます。 - 初めての鬼怒川温泉でしたが、ランキングと価格を重視して宿を選びました。結論からいえば、大満足の時間を過ごせました。 この宿は「プレミアム」や「ラグジュアリー」といった高級カテゴリーではありませんが、コスパが非常に優れています。 食事とドリンク ・朝夕のバイキングは品数豊富で満足度が高い ・会場にはスイーツや軽食、ドリンクバーが常に用意されている ・アルコールは11:00頃から23:00頃まで飲み放題 施設と設備 ・大人も楽しめる温水プール（夏季は屋外プールもあるそうです） ・プールにもサウナ完備 ・キッズ向けの設備も充実 ・大浴場の温泉の種類も豊富で、男女入替有り その他 ・宿泊者はチェックアウト後も施設を利用可能(プールや軽食、ドリンクバーなど) ・リーズナブルな価格でファミリーから大学生グループまで幅広く楽しめる この日はエレベーターにアクシデントがあり、翌日は朝からチェックアウトまで階段での移動となり大変でした。(7F客間→3F食事会場→1F温泉) バイキングの食材や、化粧水やシャンプーに、高級なものは使われておりません。それでも、満足度の高いリーズナブルなホカンスを満喫できる宿でした。

- Alona (6/5): Very good spa facilities, but can be more welcoming to foreign guests. - The onsen (hot springs) facilities were great: we enjoyed indoor and outdoor bathes, and the guests can also visit adjusted playing pool, which has sauna with different temperatures. I also liked welcoming drink you can have if you arrive before 4 pm. It is also close to the station, so it is easy to reach even if you do not have a car. The biggest disappointment was that the room I booked has been listed as the one with the river view, but when we first arrived we received a room that didn't even face the river. They changed the room per my request, but it took around half an hour and didn't lead to the best first impression of the hotel. Considering the price paid, I hoped the stay would be more welcoming. Also, my little sister doesn't speak Japanese, and she was afraid to approach cooks during evening buffet, as some of them were speaking very loudly, when they couldn't understood what she was saying in English.

- Christos (8/5): Excellent experience but the price was a bit too high. - Friendly and helpful staff. A great buffet with variety and good quality. Nice onsens with easy access until late night. Clean rooms and facilities with a retro feel. The kids also really enjoyed the pool and water slide. Price was high. Very strict schedule for buffet with a schedule that might be inconvenient if you checkin late. The buffet was a bit monotonous and repetitive, could use some variety for people who stay longer. In our case for two nights stay it was great.

- Kelly (8/5): - Quiet cultural experience. We were the only foreigners we could see. Beautiful property, view and area. Not a lot of places to visit but enough for 1-2 days. FYI This property is not at the Nikko city but the Nikko area. Large buffet and free drinks. Beds on the floor and daughter was really on the floor but all part of experience. If you want a quiet experience away from the city then this is great- even better with small children as has a pool park next door.
- ??? (10/5): - 子供がプールやおぷーろ、キッズプレイランドに大興奮 スライダーがあったのですが120cm制限で小学生でも出来ませんでした とても緩やかなスライダーなので小学生以上は出来るようになれば良かったです ちびっ子用の滑り台がなかったので残念でした 大人はウェルカムドリンクや夕食のアルコール飲み放題などに歓喜 バイキングもとても美味しくて大満足でした バスタオルやフェイスタオルもレンタルせずに利用できて最高でした しいていえば、部屋に水着を乾かすものがないのが困りました 洗濯ロープと洗濯バサミが欲しかったです

- Caitlin (10/5): Hidden gem! - This part of our trip through Japan was the unexpected highlight of the whole vacation. Nikko is quaint and beautiful and the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. We had such a great time! The staff were very accommodating and kind to our kids as well.
- Jeremy (8/5): We were the only Westerners! - My partner and I were the only Westerners that we could see so did not have much interaction with others. Got a few looks. Yukatas are offered in the rooms should you want to use. We Loved the private onsen on the top floor. Was a good view over the river. Buffet was good, you get an hour time limit to have your breakfast/dinner. however the Buffet did not have any English translations for the food on offer which meant we were scanning the cards and holding up the buffet line 😂 was quiet and very close to Kinugawa Onsen Stn. Room had a stale smell, like faded cigarettes. We spoke to the staff and they said it was normal. After leaving doors and windows open for a day (while we were out) it dissipated a bit. TV is a bit small for the price you pay.
