• Krystal (8/5): - We were initially placed in a room that did not have an air conditioner that worked for a whole night. However, the next morning we were switched to another room with a properly working air conditioner. I felt that we should have at least received a partial refund for the first night of discomfort. In addition, a whole was placed on my account for the full amount of my stay which looked like had been charged double for the next three days.

Very unprofessional weird relationship the hotel and website have and that individual was very unprofessional

• Frank (4/5): No way! Not ever again. - Last time I will stay at Woodspring property. The staff leaves at 10:00 pm and don't return until 9:00 in the morning. What if you spill a drink or make a mess in the bathroom and need an extra towel? $10 a day for my dog and a $50 cleaning fee made his stay more expensive than mine. I know that this is an extended stay and the 60 dump trucks in the parking lot (no exaggeration - I counted) starting up at 5:15 in the morning ruined my sleeping after a long drive. No coffee, no breakfast, and no way to stop the shower door from staying wide open and spraying water on the floor. I would have cleaned up this mess . . . ahh . . . but no towel and no one call.

The bed was very comfortable and the a/c was great! The only issue was it could’ve been cleaner. However, it was an easy access hotel and secure so I would choose to stay there again.

• Elry (10/5): - The only thing I didn't like was not having a coffee pot in the room. It has a kitchen but no coffee pot. For the price I assumed they would have provided one. Other than that my stay was great. I stayed for a week.
• Tanya (6/5): - I have stayed at their location several times in the past few years and this last stay was unlike the others. There are extra fees for everything including throwing any trash from your car in exterior trash cans or if you leave trash in your room. You are asked to throw out your own trash from your room as well. Sign by sign in desk is extensive on all charges that you could accrue. I have never seen a list like this and I travel nearly every 3-4 weeks for work. The pillows provided were also very lumpy as if they were washed/dried incorrectly. Just not the experience we had the first 2-3 times we booked this hotel. No blow dryer in room either. We had to run across the street to get all toiletries needed. The bedding also was not the best quality.
• Leia (2/5): - First, I’d like to say how sweet, professional and nice the receptionist was at the front office. This was the best part of the hotel. Not being from the area and traveling alone with my child this was not an ideal place to stay. Had it not been so late I would have walked out and stayed somewhere else. There was a lot of long term customers living in the hotel. Hallways are extremely dirty and you could hear people talking in their rooms. The bed while it had clean sheets, they were wet. (My thoughts are maybe they spray for bed bugs.) the floors were greasy and your shoes slip as you walk across the floor, part of the door was broken as well. We had multiple nights booked here, but we will be cancelling those.
• ZaKyyah (4/5): - I would not recommend for a short stay. The room had a musty smell, like a basement. The room had no air circulation or ventilation. There is no real housekeeping. There are no amenities as well. The only positive things are the full refrigerator and microwave in the room which are nice. Other than that they don’t have much to offer besides a bed.

• Melissa (6/5): - Super friendly staff. Very clean room. The air conditioner didn't work well. Could not get room as cool as I like. No curtain on window, just blinds so light came through and during the night was lit up from outside lights. Large hole in door that patch job was a joke.
• Ollie (2/5): - The location is convenient. The floors and walls were dirty. The linens were filthy. No breakfast was served.There was no ice machine, and they charge too much for too few amenities. I won’t be lodging there again.
• Wanda (4/5): Will Never Stay Again!!! - The hotel charged me a deposit for my small dog that was non-refundable. The manager said it is to do a really good job of getting dog hair off the bed, floor and other places. I think that’s called regular cleaning, which should be done anyway. Well, they didn’t clean our room very well at all before we arrived. There was old rice in the night stand, dirty microwave, stains in the floor, dirty walls and dust everywhere. I’ve stayed there before a long time ago when the paint was fresh, towel bars, light fixtures and lamps were in great shape. Now, the cosmetics of the property have not been kept up. There’s rust on everything that should be chrome, the walls need cleaning and painting and the carpet in the hall is filthy. There was a leak in the laundry room and water sat for a day in a half in the hallway. The water in the tub was discolored and the tub fixtures were bad. The pictures of the hotel matches when it was first opened, that don’t make the deteriorating property that it is now. Save yourself some anguish and go somewhere else. See pictures below. I have many but can only upload 8.
• Sandy (2/5): - This property was horrible. Lobby closes at 10pm. Room dusty, musty, pillows had mold, staff lazy unprofessional. This is more of an extended stay or where people are living on the property. Not remended!
• Stephanie (2/5): - This place is a dump!! I booked for two nights, walked into the room, turned right around and had to book another hotel. When I pulled into the parking lot, there were people lowering around doing God knows what, the entrance was locked and you have to be buzzed in through two sets of fires before you get to the front counter. The front desk attendant didn’t acknowledge me for a couple of minutes. She wasn’t rude, she just seemed a bit unconcerned. She got me checked in where I took an elevator that smelled bad to my floor which smelled even worse. The hall carpet was stinky and VERY stained. The room, however, was decently clean, but shabby. The bed covering was paper thin and cheap. I left! Since I had booked through a third party, I knew I wouldn’t get my money back. But there was no way I was staying there. I left feeling dirty & itchy! This place is awful!!

• Tiffany (2/5): Filthy - The was dirty, but the bathroom was extremely dirty. There was tons of hair, stuck in the rags and towels that were supposedly clean. The bathroom, light fixtures and toilet paper fixtures were completely rusted and corroded. The floor was sticky. The entire top surrounding of the shower was covered and dust and dirt. The beds had black hairs in the sheets. Lots of people were smoking right outside of the door. So you had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke to even enter the building.

The phone in my room didn't work, there were small roaches and crickets crawling around and the walls were paper thin because I could hear other occupants all night. And one person on the hall had the audacity to ask my daughters if they wanted to buy weed?!?!!! It was not a pleasant experience. And I was charged $50 for having my dog and it said that nowhere on their website! But the bed was comfortable.

• Montserrat (4/5): - The hallways and bedroom have a very bad strong odor. The building smells old. Lots of stains on the carpets which look like they could be from where pets use the bathroom. The place is just old. No housekeeping nor maintenance were there. When we got to our room we noticed the toilet was clogged and asked for maintenance but since they had no staff the front desk basically told us they had plungers downstairs and to do it ourselves. I will say when we asked for a new room and they had no hesitation on moving us. The front desk workers were helpful but had no other staff to help. You also have to throw away your trash in the garbage outback before checking out.

• Kristen (2/5): - Tried canceling weeks before through hotels.com but it apparently never went through then recieved a charge from hotel, despite it being a pay at hotel situation and i was not even in the city. They told me to try and deal with it through booking site which i had already tried then bookiing site tried to deal with hotel but end of story is i was charged for room i didnt stay in and for payment i didnt approve.

• Sheri (2/5): Don't Waste Your Money or Time - The hallways had a terrible odor. The room did not have an iron, and the front desk had certain hours, so the staff were not available. The elevator broke, and no sign was posted until staff arrived and finally realized it. Someone started cutting the grass at 4:00 AM on Saturday morning. The kitchen in the room was not stocked with anything...no paper towels, dishes, utensils. No coffee in the room. Could hear dogs barking throughout hotel. Some of the staff was friendly while some had no customer service. I was not familiar with the area, so picked a reasonable rated hotel. That was the worst mistake ever. Would not recommend to anyone!

• Todd (4/5): - It’s pretty much a dump. A inexpensive, not updated from the 90’s, alternative when all other hotel options fail. They do somewhat try at the front desk. Will give them that. But it was a weekend when everything was already booked in the city. This was it. Smelled like pot in halls. But we just needed a place and this was it. If it’s all Monroe has, then sure, take what you can get.

• Peggy (6/5): - Getting luggage into the handicap room was a nightmare. I was told to park in the back and use the luggage cart by the back door. No designated handicap parking in the back. No ramp for wheelchair or the luggage cart. I had to leave the cart on the very narrow walkway about 8-10 inches above the driveway. I had to struggle with several trips from car to the cart. The brake on the cart would not engage and rolled off the sidewalk fully loaded. It took several attempts to lift the cart back up the curb onto the walk. Then getting the cart through the door was another fiasco. No automatic door. You have to use two hands to open the door. One for the key card and the other to turn the handle. In the meantime the luggage cart is rolling off the curb! Then, when you finally get the door open you have try to hold the door and maneuver the cart sideways on the skinny sidewalk through the door. And again at the room door. No Kleenex in room. No hand towel. Very noisy air conditioning unit. Very noisy from hallway. No sound insulation at all.
• Bobby (8/5): - The hotel was ok. I expected a lot more from this hotel chain. There were 2 bath towels and 2 wash cloths. There are no hand towels in this hotel. If I wanted extra towels I would had to take the dirty towels to the front desk and get clean ones. There were a couple spots in the cleaning that needed attention. Overall the hotel was ok Miss Ebony at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful.

• Karl (6/5): Don't stay here if you are a light sleeper! - The night attendant at the front desk was on his phone and once I found him outside on facetime. I couldn't believe it but the front desk closes some time through the night and doesn't open until 9:00 am. I had no issue where i needed anything but things happen and I never saw a phone number or any way to communicate if needed. The bathroom had feces residue and urine left in the toilet. The room is loud, all night I could hear loud radio noise coming from outside and foot traffic coming from down the hall. Almost like it is not even insulated.

Each day we had to take our used towels down to the front desk and request clean ones and each day we had to wait until the laundry was done because they said they didn't have extra towels. This was so frustrating... 1 towel each for my wife and me daily for 5 days. And all the desk staff was borderline to rude, we'll never stay there again.

• Melissa (8/5): Bare bones place - This was a bare bones hotel. No shampoo, no soap, no tissues, no ice bucket or ice, no instructions regarding the tv, no hangers, and one roll of toilet paper. The room was old but clean. The room had a full size refrigerator and a two burner cooktop but no plates, no silverware, no pots, no coffee cups nor any other type of eating/cooking utensils. If you ate looking for a bate bones stay, you might consider this place. Reception was very nice at check in but there was no one there at check out.

The front desk said they would send someone and fix this place doesn’t have coffee or doughnuts How’s the water you know excuse I was still and they were cars years ago. The common areas were dirty w clutter from residents, think twice before booking here.
• donald (4/5): Not stay again - The whole place smell like marijuana. The floors are dirty. The bathrooms need to be remodeled.
• Joshua (4/5): - It was very dirty. Trash left on and under the made bed when I arrived in my room after standing at the desk being ignored for 15 minutes waiting to check in and the receptionists was there the entire time.

• Jamie (2/5): - Front desk was super nice. But there were crackheads fighting outside. It smelled of weed throughout the hotel, rooms were dirty, they dont clean counters (food debris found) beds not made(pillows left all over bed), Room doors dont lock properly make sure that ot locks when you leave your room.
