• David (6/5): Not enough pillows - Have stayed here many times now, and would still use again. This time the automated check in put me in wrong room (a twin with a disabled bathroom when it should have been a superior double), had to change room the next day. The beds never have enough pillows.

Just 15min away from the crowdy city center but with a Supermarket right by the door. Bonus point for the 1 day Gym Pass on the 2nd floor. We’ll be back!

Besides a bakery and some fast food places, there are not any restaurants nearby. That would be the only drawback. Plenty of public trans is available.

Only issue was no one was at front desk but was able to check in virtually which took a little getting used to but other than that it was a nice quick stay.

• Thanitra (10/5): - We didn't arrive until late evening when reception was already closed but the self check in was self explanatory. It was a bit dark at the entrance and for someone completely new to the area/hotel, it could be a bit intimidating. However, it was safe and easy to get in. The front desk staff was helpful and always responsive. Milica was so helpful and kind. There is a shared laundry room on site that is free to use if you download the app. I wasn't able to because my phone had died so they were so kind to upgrade me to a room that had a washer. The kitchen is well stocked to cook meals and there are 2 wonderful markets in the same building as Phils. There is also a wonderful Japanese restaurant in the building. We loved it. Public transport is easy once you figure out the bus and tram situation. It's just a quick 15-20 minute ride on Tram 1 to the center and to everywhere you need to be. There are also public buses - the 15A or 65A also provide easy access to city centers. Athough not centrally located to city center, it's a wonderful place to stay if you want a full service apartment with kitchen and laundry. The facility is also very clean and on the newer side. We were very happy at Phils and will return. Thank you Phil's!
• Volker (10/5): - Hat alles gut gepasst. Einziger Nachteil ist die (für Wiener Verhältnisse) nicht so gute Anbindung an die Öffis. Man ist auf den Bus 15a angewiesen bzw. auf die Straßenbahnlinie 1.

• Robert (8/5): Kurztrip nach Wien - nettes "Apartement" mit ungeheuer viel Schrankplatz (so viel Sachen kann ich gar nicht mitbringen! :-) ) bequemes Bett, schönes Bad (tolle Wanne!!!), viel Platz im Raum. zwei winzige Minuspunkte: kein Kühlschrank vorhanden, und am zweiten Abend war plötzlich ein riesiger aufgeblasener (und beleuchteter) Werbewürfel vor dem Fenster... naja, Vorhang zuziehen hat geholfen. ansonsten sehr gut zu erreichen, (zu bezahlende) Parkplätze in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden, Einkaufsmöglichkeit im gleichen Gebäude... alles gut.

Very close to downtown Vienna but far enough out of the busy area. The grocery stores are great and the restaurant is phenomenal. Highly recommend staying here and I already look forward to next year!

The restaurant in the entrance is GREAT and the transpiration to the city or airport is very easy and nearby . The only drawback is that the room was not clean everyday, however when I asked to clean the room, it was handle next day . Great place to stay in Vienna.
• Samer (10/5): Only place to stay in vienna - We stayed there for one night on our way to bologna from mykonos. We arrived early but the receptionist gave us our room immediately, checking in took less than 10 minutes. The room was exceptional, beautifully decorated and furnished and fully equipped in a very modern way, huge walk inn closet. Everything looked new and the wall to wall windows gave us a spectacular view from the 11th floor. The location is a bit far from down town vienna but tram 1 is just 400m away going there. The services are great, nice restaurant and high tech laundry in the basement conveniently connected through we wash App. This place is great for a long stay. Very pleasant and relaxing in every way. Will never concider any other place when going to vienna. We stayed at 5 star hotels before, I prefer Philsplace now, superb price too.

Good for quick bite and hang out place and convenient to buy food. It has laundry room in basement. I wish they could provide cleaning clothes and dish washer tabs and more garbage bags and washing machine tabs for clothing. Otherwise it is excellent perfect.

Modern furniture, Amazing view, comfy bed, spacious shower and fully equipped kitchen. It has two supermarkets downstairs and a Vapiano restaurant. City center 15 min by bus or taxi. The gym downstair doesn't belong to the hotel so you have to pay. Smart TV doesn't have any APP so not working unless your connect your laptop. TV channels all in German, no english options. Overall great stay.

The kitchen had all the necessary essentials and high end appliances. I have been traveling Europe for the past 6months and Phil’s place was defiantly the nicest and most modern place we stayed. I highly recommend Phil’s Place.

There is a great restaurant and grocery store on the ground floor. I will definitely stay at PhilsPlace the next time I visit Vienna.

Lovely new studio apartment hotel type space, fine kitchen and a short commute from Vienna centre using public transport. Room is cleaned twice a week if staying for a long period, but if you require extra towels or whatever the staff are very accommodating.

Two supermarkets and a Vapiano in the same building are very convenient, as well as the transport near by. Only 2 complaints: 1) The cleaning staff rang our bell to clean the day we were leaving early in the morning, which didn't make much sense and woke us up. 2) The person at the reception had no idea about the supermarket hours and didn't try and find out when asking. They also didn't know supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Austria (she told me it would be open), which I also found odd? The reception should have this basic information. I would stay there again, however!

What I did not like though was that if you stayed in your room after a certain time in the morning hours, you cannot get your room cleaned for the rest of the day. Also, some information given were not in English.
• Vanessa (8/5): Trip to Vienna - We loved the apartment/hotel experience. This was our first room like this. The room was very spacious with a living room, walk in closet, two beds, small kitchen and large bathroom. The windows and view was very nice, we caught a lot of snow action. The only thing we wished we could change is the location. If you are traveling via public transportation into the city center a lot, it will take about 40 minutes and takes a walk to a bus and then a couple trains depending on time of day and direction.

• Doris (10/5): - Upon arrival we were greeted by an upbeat and courteous staff. Our room was on the tenth floor. What a surprise to open the door and find an incredible modern and sleek studio apartment with wood floors and huge windows with automatic blinds. The studio also featured a full kitchen with dishwasher, stove top, oven and fridge/freezer. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, utensils and a Nespresso coffee maker. The bathroom was modern and huge for European standards. Great shower and plenty cabinets to store the toiletries. The studio also had a walk-in closet with many build ins. All in all, this studio is comfortable enough for a long-term stay. One of the best amenities was access to 2 supermarkets. One of them (Merkur) was in the same building in the basement and the other one (Aldi) is next door. On the first floor of the building you find a fantastic Italian restaurant and bar which served fresh pizza and pastas plus breakfast in the morning. The hotel is in the Meidling area of Vienna. The tram and bus stops are about a 10 minute walk away with direct access to the heart of Vienna. Phil’s place was the last destination of our European trip and by far exceeded our expectations.
• Alexander (10/5): Stay beat all expectations - Our experience beat all our expectations considering we had not heard anything about PhilsPlace before; the room was wonderfully equipped and clean, with a smart layout, clever TV system and plenty of storage space. The room was welcoming and the automated shutters were a nice addition, although they would sometimes move down and then up during the night without prompting, causing a bit of noise. The fact that there is a Vapiano, Hofer and Merkur on the same location just make it even more convenient. I would highly recommend and look forward to staying here again
• Indira (10/5): Amazing 5 star place! - Booked 4 nights, we booked 1 more extra night as the room was amazing. Some things to remember here: 1 The hotel is New and they are still working out some of the small issues that come up. 2. The room is amazing. My advice is to grab all your drinks at the downstairs full grocery store, they have hot ready to eat Germany food. You'll be able to cook food in your apartment room, all the tools are there...with the exception of salt and pepper. Again, do not miss out on this place, you'll regret it if you do. • Verified traveler (10/5): - Brand new hotel and as you expect in top condition. Nice room/apartment with enough space. Good location with good access and plenty of parking space.
• Robert (10/5): Philspace excellent and a good price. - Excellent apartment, staff good. Well equipped. Only just opened so not everything is open yet.
• Rob (10/5): Top class accommodation in soft opening - Great hotel/apartment for the price. Room included everything from double bed, en suite bathroom, oven, hob and cooking utensils to a full size fridge. As the hotel is still going through its soft opening (and I think that's the reason for the affordable prices) there are a few advertised amenities, including the gym, which aren't up and running yet. But the rooms are very well designed, perfectly clean and comfortable, and there's a great Italian restaurant on the bottom floor. Service is good. When I requested an iron it was at my door in five minutes, though laundry is very expensive so you might want to look for other options if you're travelling light. Location is a little away from the city centre, but public transport is very good and you can be at any one of the city's major sights in around 30 minutes. When you arrive, make sure you check every panel in the room, there's a hidden compartment behind almost every one. Top class accommodation which will be even better when fully up and running.
• Kathie (10/5): Phil's Place is a place you'll want to call yours - We loved the room and the food available for takeout. The connections with public transportation are awesome. We went from the hotel to the Vienna State Opera on the tram in 27 minutes! Personnel also very helpful!

• soonhee (10/5): Fabulous hotel with location, service, cleanness - Fabulous hotel in terms of location, service and clearness etc. It was a bit away from city center but they have tram running the main city center ring from 5 min walks' distance. Hotel has kitchen and there are nice Italian restaurants and supermarket inside building. super clean and convenient and comfortable. I will be back to this hotel when I have chance to Wien again.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a nice hotel, just opened. Everything is great excepto the fact that they are going through their soft opening and they still have a few issues. The day we checked out the elevator was not working (we were on the 8th flor) and had to use the stairs to go down carrying our luggage, which was not an easy task for my wife or me becuse of our age. Alarms were going off. We were happy (and tired) when we finally got off the building.
• Leo (6/5): - the building is nice, but the construction is not over yet so be prepared to wake up early to the sound of drills and hammers. Also it is pretty far from the old town.
