Guest Reviews
- Dalton (10/5): A nice stay in a quiet location. - Els was a very accommodating hhostess. Nothing
- John (9/5): We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. - Excellent choices and preparation and quality. All compliments to the chef-owner-host Els. Also comfortable seating arrangement and pleasant guests. Nice way to spend a morning. Nothing to complain about. Host reasonbly accomodated us.
- Jendrzejek (9/5): A Taste of History at Fruits of Vienna - The feel of 1911 Georgia with todays conveniences. The hosts are very nice people with interesting life stories they don't mind sharing. The grounds are a work in progress but, are already nice and on there way towards being something really special. Breakfast is included at this B&B but the host will also cook you dinner! Els is a great cook and cost is comparable to a restaurant without having to go out. Our room was a little tight but, that was the tradeoff for the convenience of having our own bathroom (not so common in 1911 homes).
- Peggy (10/5): A magical place to stay. Relax and enjoy great breakfast and dinners. Wonderful hostess - I loved my stay. The owner was a lovely, kind lady that made my stay Wonderful. I stayed here several days during the hurricane evacuations. This is a beautiful old historic home set on several acres, so I was traveling with my pet and appreciated the lawn to walk my dog. In a quiet town. My room was decorated with antiques, my bed was very comfortable, and I enjoyed the large tub. The bed and breakfast always prepared a wonderful breakfast of eggs, homemade danish, cheese, meats, orange juice and other selections. You can order your eggs prepared as you like and it's a nice dining room to enjoy breakfast with other guests. Upon request you can choose to have her prepare dinner. I ate dinner here every evening because her cooking was so delicious!!! Each meal was wonderful and is wrapped up with a great dessert. YUM!!! Several of the rooms are up on the second floor and a long stairway takes you to your room. Upstairs she had coffee, teas, snacks and water for the guests. A wonderful front porch to sit on, a side porch area, and a sitting room beside the dining room. I felt so at home here and the owner was so kind and told us places to visit locally, talked about her growing up in Europe and helped in any way she could to make all of our stays as comfortable as possible. I can't say enough about the lovely experience of my stay in Georgia at The Fruits of Vienna B&B. A magical memory for sure. Thank you I loved everything
- Ellen (10/5): Wonderful host and very comfortable place to stay. Would definitely recommend! - Beautiful bedroom and bath. We enjoyed talking with the owner and felt very comfortable staying there.
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - The breakfast was wonderful. We were arriving late because of long traffic from the hurricane evacuation. The host was very responsive throughout the day and greeted us in the middle of the night. It felt like we were arriving to see family and she made us feel very comfortable after us stressful day on I 75 . House is built in 1911, well-maintained, quaint, and a lovely place to find room at the inn.
- Barbara (10/5): Felt like I was revisiting Europe. - The breakfast was plentiful and excellent. The coffee was a special treat. Everything was presented so elegantly. The location was near a national park we were visiting. It was all wonderful, no complaints whatsoever.
- Llanes (7/5): Good -
- David (4/5): We would not return nor recommend - The owner was not there. Her husband was and he seemed very nice. The maid who prepared our breakfast was very nice. The coffee was good. The breakfast wasn’t good: scrambled eggs reheated in a microwave one piece of bacon each, broken into 3pieces. Cold bread. Particularly alarming was the electric wiring: so few outlets that everything was run using multiple extension cords. Kuerig could not stay on because of huge voltage drop. There is no way that house could have passed a safety inspection.
- Dawn (10/5): The Fruits of Vienna is a delightful place to stay. - The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the owner was a delight to talk to.
- Roberta (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely lovely old home that had been refurbished by the owners.
- Kostecki (10/5): Great time…Owner, Els was a delight to talk with and her meals were excellant. - Fantastic European breakfast with Dutch coffee… Rooms were up on second floor. Excessive amount of stairs needed to be climbed. We were okay with it but someone with a walking issue would have a problem AND this is not listed in literature of B n B…
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - The food was amazing!
- Amy (10/5): looking forward to going back - the owner was absolutely amazing. Her cooking was to die for. Her homemade pastries you can’t get them any better. she was such a wonderful hostess. The rooms are elegant and cozy. She cared about what you needed and made sure you had everything. just the oldest to it
- Ingrid (9/5): Superb - The owners were very friendly.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): It was the perfect get away from the City. - The facility is very well decorated making it very comfortable. If I had to describe the facility, I would have to use all the adjectives in the Webster dictionary. There was nothing to dislike.
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
