Anne-marie (7/5): - Extremely convenient for attending a conference at the CSIR which 5mins drive or 15 minutes away on foot. Staff helpful and everything very clean Curtains do not provide enough darkness for me personally. Floors very cold..tiles mostly. Aircon worked but quite an old model that needs coaxing.

The mattress on the bed was róck hard, uncomfortable and the pillows were thick, bulky and awful. We eventually checked out at 1:40 and drove home. Whát a dissappointment! Defnitely not boutique hotel standard bedding.

Prof (7/5): Nice but average - The staff are really nice and very helpful. The rooms are nice too and easy to sleep - no noise from outside. Decent aircon to warm and cool the room. The restaurant is also nice - the singing dinner service is superb! Nice breakfast. The room is nice but a few things needed fixing when we arrived - the TV didn't switch on and the toilet kept running. The shampoo and conditioner are high on the wall, so if you want to use them while you bath, you have to stand up in the bath. The spa was not great - terrible head massage and an ok full body massage,

Such a wonderful Spa treatment with massage, facial, manicure and lunch.. Abigail is the best! I would always come back just for her and her lovely, professional and just enjoyable work. Many thanks again <3 The food is also really good!

Venter (4/5): Very disappointed. - There was a valentines show on the go at the same premises. This was very noisy. After we returned from dinner, there was no parking available. I could literally hear the room next door's aircon beep every time they adjusted the temperature. Even the neighbor's voices could be heard and they weren't talking loudly. These walls must be paper thin. I had paid for a deluxe room that was supposed to have a filter coffee machine. All that was in the, obviously standard room, was a kettle and a few sachets to make a weak cup of coffee. The location is also right next to a highway, so the constant sounds of traffic is annoying.

Breakfast took a very long time to be served and we had to check out whilst waiting for the breakfast to be served. I had booked two single beds and a double bed was provided. I was told this cannot be changed. Internet was not working properly in the room.

The singing waiters. an unexpected treat! - The breakfast was aa hearty farmers breakfast, eggs, bacon, sausage, roast tomatoes and fried mushrooms. The coffee, juice and granola parfait were included in the breakfast if you booked it along with the room. The second cup of coffee was included as well!
