Very close to train station. Walking distance to everywhere. Frank the maintenance director was very helpful and friendly. Richard responded quickly when I requested an early check in. Very satisfied. The outdoor pub noise was louder and lasted longer than expected. I actually found it comforting in some ways and it did eventually stop, but I could see how some clients could be upset by it. I couldn’t figure out how to turn the bathroom radiator rack on.

You will find it hard to get 4 cars infront of the block of apartments. If you happen to park infront of the pub you will be charged. Safely its 3 cars parking.

• HAZEL (7/5): Great base for York adventures - Well maintained and looked after everything you would need for a short stay for a couple Proximity to the very loud pub next door I obviously didn’t research it enough although the window in bedroom did dull out the noise quite a bit

The shower was good and there appeared to be everything needed for a few days stay, we only used wine glasses this time but would definitely stay again. The lighting was a little confusing, the toilet was low for us but nothing that would stop us staying again or recommending the property.

• Jennifer (8/5): Great place but don’t expect to sleep before 11pm - The apartment was spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Great location with easy access to the train station and shops. Like others have said the beer garden was very noisy even mid-week. No chance of sleeping before 11pm when it closes. Then there’s a few disturbances like bottles being emptied into bins but once it quietens down it was very peaceful. There were a few black stains on the bedding so they could do with chucking. Also the lighting was a bit crazy, a few didn’t work and others turned on lights in other rooms.

It is also not soundproof, as we could hear everything from the neighboring apartment. Lastly, someone knocked on our door twice, once in the afternoon and again at midnight.
• john (8/5): Good location, but a few small issues - Only a short walk into York Parking was an issue, the 4 bays that they say have, seemed to be used by others and they didn’t park in a manner that allowed for 4 cars to park. Hot water seemed to run out quick when wanting a shower, it must be shared the the other apartments

• Mark (9/5): Comfy, great location, easy and trouble free access into the apartment. - Nice apartment, great location. A couple of little issues that could do with being sorted out. The integrated fridge door has come away from the fridge door and the big blind in the bedroom, i wasn’t able to close it. Nothing major and definitely nothing that would stop us going back. There was only parking for 4 cars outside. I parked in the carpark down the road. It cost me £18. Then when we went back to the apartment after a meal, there was space outside. So i went and got my car, but by time i got back, all 4 spaces were full again. So i parked back in the carpark which then cost me £27. So from outside the apartment for £10 to £45 was quite a big jump. Not the owners fault.

• Ed Simmonds (10/5): If you're going York, definitely consider York Aparthotel - The location: a few minutes walk from the train station. Also really close for pretty much all the sights and activities around York centre, but far enough away and set back so no noise. Apartment was very clean and well maintained, also has pretty much all the kitchen gadgets you need for a weeks stay. Bed was comfortable. Really good powerful shower. We had no complaints. Only thing some people may not like is the pub next door closes at 11, and for about 10 minutes you get a bit of noise as they're closing up. But honestly, we didn't find it excessive or disturbed us.

Okay there is a pub next door, but it goes quiet very quickly after closing and the plus is you have a pub next door! Just off street parking works. Not really a problem, but the roof is sloping so you have to careful at night.

• Ai (10/5): Warm, comfortable, and right in the centre! - Location was excellent, small and tidy and comfortable, with everything you'd need for a short stay. We had a horrible experience with different accommodation and these guys were our saviours, so so appreciative and such a significant step up in terms of quality, comfort, provision and location. Michael spoke with us on the phone and ran us through everything, honestly this is what accommodation is supposed to be. Pub next door can get a little rowdy in the evening, nothing that the accommodation can do, but be wary if that's bothersome to you. The little hotel milk cartons in the fridge had very much gone off, though we did have our own milk. I think it's likely they haven't been checked/changed, but everything was marvellous. Only suggestion would be maybe chuck up a cover over the chairs in the courtyard, to protect from sun and rain for us 'orrible smokers.
• Brian (9/5): We had a wonderful short break in a wonderful apartment in a wonderful city. - The property is situated perfectly, very close to York railway station and on edge of the city centre so only short walks away from the main attractions and shops. It is an ideal apartment, comfortable and compact with all that is needed for a relaxing holiday / break. We were delighted with this property. The apartment is down a short well lit entry that was a little difficult to find on first arrival - the instructions provided are a little inaccurate and the apartment sign is quite small. It is adjacent to a public house which can be noisy at times - but this always stopped by 11-00pm and did not detract from this property more than very fractionally.
• Ashley (1/5): Terrible service and left stranded - Arrived at the place and hadn’t received any check-in information. Owner’s phone was turned off and they were not replying to messages. Had to stand outside for an hour before contacting Booking. Waited another hour to be told they had canceled my booking for no reason. Was stranded and had to book another place to stay. Absolute nightmare and ruined the trip. Avoid.
• Dennis (9/5): - Very modern apartment and extremely well equipped, car parking to the front (chargeable extra), located within easy walking distance of the city centre. I had not received the door entry code upon arrival and when I telephoned the number given it was an answerphone asking who I wanted to speak to but the code was texted a short while after. A minor problem was the touch pad lighting system was labelled incorrectly but all worked just not in the marked order.

• Lucy (8/5): an easy overnight - good for an overnight. host was helpful and very accommodating due to my own mistake. a tiny bit out of the centre, but quiet area. had everything we needed for the few hours we were in there. low coombed ceiling wasn't suitable for us as we are both over 6ft and the bed was a very small double (again, for our height) which is just unfortunate, one of us ended up on the sofa. a bit too warm.

• Karl Twiname (7/5): WEEKEND in york - Location was good , apartment good too. No blinds over the doors was a bit of a disappointment, felt the appartments opposite could see in ,certainly when sitting on the sofa.
• Vicki (9/5): - We had a very enjoyable stay. Mike from maintenance, who happened to be on-site when we arrived, quickly helped us into the apartment and kindly ensured all was in order. The location is excellent—an easy walk to trains, buses, and the town centre.  The apartment itself was quiet, spotlessly clean, and had strong Wi‑Fi. The space feels newly renovated, with a very comfortable bed, a functional kitchenette for simple meals, and a great shower.  The reliable heating kept us cozy throughout our chilly New Year’s stay.  This was a very pleasant stay that we would happily recommend.

There is very limited parking compared to the number of apartments, therefore we had to park in the NCP car park which was £27 for 24 hours. There is also a pub directly behind the apartment which plays music until around 11pm, which we weren’t aware of. You can also hear a lot of noise from the other apartments.
