Guest Reviews
- Carlos Angel (9/5): Muy Bueno - Ubicación y cómodo Nada
- Krzysztof (10/5): -
- Fatma betül (8/5): - Çok yeterli idi mutfak, yatak odası, salon Fotoğraftaki muhteşem mobilyalı yer değildi. Görece mobilyalar daha sadeydi.
- Lucia (8/5): We enjoyed our stay. - We stayed 3 nights in Suite Argentina. We like the location and it’s roomy than the hotel room. The apartment is clean and tidy. A convenient store is just around the corner.
The host is very friendly and helpful. He keeps WhatsApp us about the arrival time and greet us in the apartment. Besides, he brought us a bottle of red wine, bread and jam. Nothing. We know the apartment is located in an old building.
- David Linco (10/5): - Warm & genuine friendly welcome by Valerio who was super helpful during our stay.
- Eric (10/5): Enjoyable stay for four nights. - Great location. If you don't mind walking a little, you can visit the Vatican and just about all of the major sights. There is a small grocery store next door and several restaurants nearby. There is also a taxi area about 50 meters away. The apartment is roomy and very historical. Has been family owned for about 100 years. When we arrived at the apartment, there was bread, jam, and juice in the refrigerator. Very thoughtful. We would stay again. Not a problem for us, but if you have mobility issues, there are stairs to reach the apartment.
- Marisa (10/5): Excelente - La atención del anfitrión La ubicación
- M. (9/5): very good - Mr. Valerio was very supportive and always happy to help and advice... great location where all main Rome attraction are in walking distance, taxi/bus/tram 2min walk... supermarkets downstairs
- Nicole (7/5): Wonderful stay in Rome city center! - The location was great. The host was wonderful. The snacks and recommendations were very thoughtful. The A/C actually worked and worked well (which didn’t always happen at some other places we stayed.) Bed space was small but normal for Europe. The trundle bed was a little small for my 6’1’ teenage son and is in the main bedroom. The living room furniture lacks support and could be replaced. Otherwise, this was a wonderful stay, was charming and could not have been a better end to a 2 week European trip.
- Rakesh (9/5): Over all an excellent time we had at this heritage apartment. - The host was super supportive n the location was excellent. The nights were noisy being on the side of Main Street
- Bhagyashree (9/5): Superb -
- Brian (10/5): Will definitely stay here again - Host was very accommodating and apartment was spacious Everything above expectations
- Fernando (8/5): Very good - Host was amazing. Always available and helpful
Location - we were able to walk to all major attractions in half hour or less.
Again host was outstanding!!!! Apartment served as the location for a family photo/art gallery or studio. This was advertised, so not surprised. In person we found all the photos and family history a little uncomfortable.
- Natasha (10/5): Exceptional - Valerio was most welcoming. Gave us a wonderful history of the apartment and was very helpful with recommendations for food etc. Loved the place- would definitely return.
- Dumais (10/5): Beautiful home in the heart of Rome - Well situated and the host is very welcoming! Nothing…. I will come back next time I come to Rome
- Barbara (9/5): Valerio was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure things worked out for us. It was nice to feel someone “had - Excellent location,we could walk everywhere!
- Austin (10/5): Terrific location, very comfortable apartment - lovely way to set yourself up to tour Rome - Superb location for exploring Rome - most things were a short walk away, and for getting further afield there is a very conveniently located bus stop and taxi stand a few hundred meters away from the apartment. The host, Valerio, was exceptional. I'd mentioned that I was gluten free, and he went out of his way to bring in a few GF provisions to tie us over on our first few days. Grazie mille Valerio!
- Joy48 (9/5): Very pleasant stay. - Very clean, comfortable and good location. The kitchen was generously supplied with breakfast foods. The air conditioning worked well. Bed was comfortable; soaps provided in bathroom. The host was extremely thoughtful and helpful with recommendations. Nothing negative.
- Graeme (10/5): Great experience in a great location. - Great location. Close to all main attractions. Host was extremely helpful in providing history of the property as well as food and attraction recommendations. Nothing
- Ian (8/5): Very good - Location More linen needs to be provided ie towels, face washers etc
- Md (8/5): Very good -
- Paulina (10/5): Responsive and friendly host.A central, clean, safe, spacious and comfortable apartment with quiet AC - We communicated with the host about our arrival time. Even though we arrived a bit late, the host waited for us and let us into the apartment, gave us a little history of the place. We felt very welcome with a bottle of wine and the host also as kindly stocked the fridge with some drinks and snacks for our comfort. We were shown how to use the keys for the property and felt very secured with the safety features of the apartment.
A very comfortable cot was put in the bedroom for our younger teenage daughter, and there was another bed in another room for our older daughter. The mattresses were on the firm side and perfect for us. The living room has a comfy couch and 2 armchairs, plus a round dining room table for 4. We enjoyed having the option of using the kitchen for our morning espresso and quick breakfast. The bathroom was clean and bright, but as in most European apartments, very small. The hot water was steady and strong for a nice shower. Most importantly, this apartment had a new and quiet AC, which we needed as our stay in early July was mid 35 degree celsius in Rome. This accommodation was a wonderful refuge everyday after exploring outside.
The location was very central. 10-25 minute walk to the Pantheon, Colosseum, Trevi Fountains, and the Vatican. It is not close to a Metro station, but we caught a taxi for $8 to the Vatican one early morning. On the same floor, there is another apartment, and on our last 2 days stay, our next door neighbours were very loud and we could hear them when we sat in the living room. However, they were not loud for long periods of time, and quiet hours was respected, so we didn't think this was a problem. If you are very noise sensitive, and happen to have super insensitive neighbours, the thin wall may bother you.
- Kerstin (9/5): A great place to stay for some time in Rome, a stone’s throw from Pantheon and all the rest. Fantastic host! And don’t m - Excellent location and the host, Valerie, was amazing! On arrival we had what we needed for breakfast for the first days. We got all kinds of advice and a brief story of the building. The apartment was neat and clean with a highly personal touch, very nice. It would have been great with a washing machine. But that was not in the description so no fault. The bathroom is a bit small but nothing you cannot live with. There is just a thin door between this apartment and the adjacent one so you can hear what your neighbours are talking about. I suggest hanging a thick curtain on any side of that door to myggmedel any sound.
- Loris (9/5): Excellent location, clean and spacious. Will book again. - The location was excellent. The apartment was very clean and Valerio made sure we had everything we needed including a well stocked kitchen. Very hard to pick anything, but if you had to, it was missing a washing machine.
- Gregory (10/5): we have stayed in quite a few places in Italy, but none better than Suite Argentina. we’ll certainly be staying there ne - the wonderful history of the building, so kindly and lovingly told by Valerio himself. the location cannot be faulted as we were walking distance to all the attractions and restaurants. I could not fault the property at all. we were welcomed with food and wine for our stay and I was able to contact Valerio when I needed tourist advice.
- Delia (10/5): This is a comfortable, superbly located apartment. - Valerio was a terrific host - warm, communicative, and super helpful with recommendations. The history of this apartment as an old photographic studio owned by his family gave it an extra level of interest and its location would be hard to beat. It’s not only easily walkable to Trastevere and the Forum/Colloseum but also handily close to a cab rank and a good supermarket.
- Mathias (10/5): amazing apartment and great host! would stay here again - amazing host and apartment! the apartment itself is 10/10. I think the host does an exceptional job at making you feel super comfortable.
One thing is that the street is very loud at night but this is out of anyone’s control. it is the heart of Rome, which is an extraordinary and lovely city so it comes with the territory.
I would definitely stay here again. Location is unbelievable great.
- Elizabeth (10/5): We had a wonderful stay! The property and host are very family friendly. The location was superb! - The location of the property is perfect. The property and host are very family friendly.
- Sabina (10/5): Grat stay in Rome, great location, clean, helpfull host - Host was really helpfull, location is great, clean, spatious
- Fabio (10/5): It was our first time in Rome and our host and location made our experience more than we bargained for! - amazing location; perfect size; clean as a whistle I liked everything!
- Suraya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Uma (9/5): Nice and satisfying 😊 - Clean and cosy apartment. Walking distance to all attractions. Valerie was an exceptional host who made sure that we had a comfortable stay and helped with tips to restaurants and tickets to Vatican museums, Colosseum. Will gladly recommend to anyone.
