Tack is a great host and a really nice person; he was very kind to drive us to a konbini in the evening and then drop us at the station the next morning. The room was very spacious and clean. The location is also good, with several buses to Jogasaki-Kaigan Station and Mt. Omuro. Nothing, everything was perfect!

• Tomoo (10/5): - とても親切で、感じの良い、 素敵な日本人のご夫婦が 運営されている ペンションホテルです。 ホテル内に駿河湾が見渡せる、 絶景スポットがあります。 高い吹き抜けの天井、しっとりとした音楽が流れていて、少しレトロですがそこがまた落ち着きます。 部屋を消灯すると、 天井に星空が浮かびます。 室内は、温かく、清潔で、とても休まります。 テレビもwifiも完備。 自然に囲まれた、とても静かな、素敵な環境ですが、立体的な地形で、駅やコンビニまでは 少し距離があるので、 レンタルサイクルなどを借りると、 とても、快適に過ごせると思います。 16:30頃に閉まってしまう 定食屋さんも多いので、 晩御飯は早めに動いた方が良いかもしれません。 あと、水曜日は定休日のところも 多いみたいです。 私は車で行ったのですが、 景色も伊豆高原の雰囲気も とても満喫できました。 部屋の数だけ、 駐車場があるそうです。 ただ、もしかしたら、 少しだけ駐車するのに 技術が必要かもしれません。 でも、ホテルの方に相談すると 誘導してくれます。 伊東にはあまり来ないつもりでしたが、 このホテルがとても素敵だったので、 また別のシーズンに遊びに来たいと 思いました。

• Lavinia (10/5): Amazing Place, Great Value. - What a gem! We absolutely loved our stay here. Our room had a spectacular view of the water and mountains. We watched both sunset and sunrise. Incredible. The room was spacious, bed really comfortable, water hot and WiFi good. We had a table and chairs, microwave, fridge and kettle. Our host, Tack, picked us up from the station and gave us such a warm and friendly welcome. We had 2 nights here but wished it were more. JOYinn is a lovely property. Such good value. It is in a quiet street which made for an excellent sleep. The property website was very helpful too. Tack is an amazing host, so helpful. He drove us to Mt. Omuro and explained how to get back. Also drove us to a local restaurant for dinner on our last night and picked us up. Be aware there is no breakfast or dinner provided at JOYinn. You need to bring your own food with you. We purchased some at Izu Kogen station and Tack kindly stopped at a convenience store, on the way to the property, so we could buy a few more items. This worked well for us. We had been in Japan for a month and JOYinn was our last stay apart from 1 night in Tokyo. We couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay to end our trip. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and Tack made it a special occasion. Izu Kogen and JOYinn are definitely a must for any itinerary. Thank you Tack. James and Lavinia

• 未来 (10/5): 機会があればまた利用させて頂きたいくらい良かったです。 - 雲が多かったこともあり実際の星空は見れなかったですが、天井の星が綺麗で癒されました。 また、連泊で利用させて頂いたのですが、シャワーカーテンが交換してあったりとても清掃が行き届いてると思いました。 オーナーさんもとても感じが良く、少し寒い日には暖房を入れておいてくれたりと気遣って頂けました。
• Guy (9/5): - The host and his wife were very nice, and very good English speakers. The rooms were very comfortable, nice beds and air conditioner worked well. Free wifi and worm water. Everything is well explained, and there are other services like laundry you can ask for small payment. The place is really quiet at night, perfect for people who want to have a peaceful holiday. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend. The location was very interesting, was a little bit hard to find (especially at the dark, due to the lack of traffic lights). Also, important detail is that the owner has a dog. Really quite but for someone who has allergies it's important to know.

Har du WiFi kan du klara av alla turer med att bestämma var du ska hämtas men utan Wi-fi är det svårt att veta var du ska hämtas. Ägarens fru var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. Rummet var fint. Du måste också tänka på att ha egen frukostmat då det inte finns något frukostställe i närheten men det går mycket bra att t.ex. göra omelett i mikron.

Apart from 1)the glorious ocean view(the host upgraded our room into one with ocean view) 2)free pick up from nearby places, which many comments have already mentioned, what I really appreciated is that the host was really trying to make our stay more pleasant. There was no toothbrush cup when we first got there, and my friend left her toothbrush on the table when we went out. When we went back she found her toothbrush put in a lovely small toothbrush cup. That was so sweet! The place itself was very nice as well, the weather was pretty good during our stay and we saw many stars at night, perfect place for getting away from the cities and enjoying nature.

• マリ (10/5): A wonderful stay! - I asked to reserve a parking spot, I received the response very quickly. The hotel was easy to find. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome and detailed information about the stay. He really did his best to make our stay comfortable, what a lovely person! The room was clean and spacious, with sea view. In the morning you are able to see a breathtaking sunrise. From here you can visit many beautiful places. The price is low compared to other stays is the neighborhood. I definitely recommend staying here, I am sure you’ll love it!

• Patrice (10/5): Exceptional - So nice and helpful owners ! Gave us a free lift each time we needed it. Room was extremely clean, bedding perfect, private bathroom. Sea view. Fridge, microwave, kettel. Excellent wifi. This was our second stay and we highly recommand this hotel. Excellent quality / price. Very calm area . Nothing
• Walter (9/5): Beautiful Ocean View - Great place, tucked away in the hills above Izu Kogen station. Reasonably priced, very well organized, super clean, well equipped rooms (some with beautiful ocean view), friendly and relaxed owner and possible to book on the same day. Pick-up from the station provided, also very reasonably priced laundry service. It was our third visit. Will be back for sure. Thanks for the upgrade! Bathrooms are a bit small.
• Patrice (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely nice and warm welcoming. Owner is extremely helpfull and even proposed to give us a lift with his car each time we nedeed it. Room is perfectly clean, as well as bedding and private bathroom. Fridge, microwave, kettel, table and 2 chairs. Excellent wifi. TV. Very peacefull. Up the hill with wonderful view. Nothing.

• Kok (10/5): Love the place and my son was enjoying the time with the 3 dogs the owner have. - The location to view the great sunrises over the ocean 😁 It's definitely view for money 😉 Maybe the distance between station and places to eat but only because I didn't drive. There was a shuttle service for the guest coming to and going to the station and radius of 5km.
• Ancilla (9/5): Superb - The owner was veeery helpful and he drove us every each day to the places we would like to go. The price for the accomodation was definitely enough but with services and extras he‘s giving during the stay it’s alright. Location is far away from train station.

• Jacob (10/5): The most hospitable hotel I have stayed at in Japan! - The owner was probably the most friendly and hospitable hotel staff I have ever met. He made us feel truly welcome, spoke excellent English and always wanted to do whatever he could to make our stay more pleasant. As the room was not occupied he upgraded us to a sea view room at no extra charge and also drove us to and from the station each day. The rooms were comfortable and extremely tidy as they were cleaned each day. I am so happy this was the hotel I chose and I would 100% stay here again. The hotel is a little far from the station to walk, but this wasn’t really an issue as the owner offers to dive you to local areas and he quickly comes to pick you up if you message him. He even offered to wait in the car while we shopped for food!
