È possibile anche pranzare, fare colazione, prendere un caffè e degustare vino e grappa di riso.

- Thomas (10/5): - Pingyao throws you back a couple centuries and this hotel happily keeps you in theme. We loved it - but it’s not for everyone. If you are seeking a 5* resort experience and are particular about everything, this isn’t your place. If you’re a bit more laid back and like the idea of a super charming old-timey China experience then you’re in the right place. Know the beds are super firm, ha, but no problem for any of the 4 of us (parents and teenagers). The host and owner Sara is a joy, helpful, and speaks English.
- HOWON (10/5): - 핑야오에서 가장 좋았던 곳이 바로 이곳 숙소에요. 호쾌하고 친절한 여사장님의 안내가 기분좋은 곳입니다. 저희가 묵었던 4인실은 새로 링모델링되어 깨끗하고 넓직해서 좋았어요. 숙소 안의 정경도 고아한 멋이 있어서 한참 구경했습니다. 중심가도에서 조금 떨어져 있어서 숙소에서는 조용하게 쉴 수 있어 좋았어요. 고성 구경 다니다가 더운 오후에는 숙소에서 쉬었다가 저녁쯤 다시 나가니 아이들도 좋은 컨디션을 유지할 수 있었어요. 핑야오 여행 숙소로 강추합니다.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok for 1 night - Beautiful house, very friendly staff. The rooms are however quite basic, not very warm in winter season and bathrooms dirty. I would say it's fine for one night but not more according to western standard. They should increase the night price and invest into more comfortable rooms.

- Helen Dale (10/5): Charming and helpful. - This is alovely boutique hotel that looks just like the online pictures. The man who greated me spoke the best English of anyone I have met in 7 weeks of travel in China and his advise on how to maximize my time was spot on. whe I asked about a car and driver for the day he arranged it. I am not cerrtain but I think the car may have been owned by the hoqtel and the driver may be on the psyroll. In any event it was very convenient and the driver and I got along fine with our respective phone translators. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
- Catherine (10/5): Oasis in Pingyao - We had a very nice one night stay here. Great location - the street market is literally 10 seconds away. They were very helpful in arranging a taxi for us to Mianshan, and very accommodating with us leaving our luggage too. It’s beautiful inside, like an oasis if you go during the busy periods! PS Mianshan is definitely worth a visit, and give it a full day!
- Daniela (10/5): Backpackers lodge with ancient charm - This hotel is exactly how the pictures depict it. It’s simple but very charming. The lady that handles it is very nice, helpful and speak good English. I spent one night there and it was a good experience. It’s inside Pingyao Ancient City and very close to restaurants and local stores. One night it’s more than enough to see the ancient city. The only complain I have is regarding the shower. I think it could be improved.
- Hays (10/5): - This hotel has more of a bare-bones appeal to it, but comes with a long history and period-accurate restoration. It is in the Pingyao Old City so finding the hotel late at night is not advisable, but they do allow late check-in and check-out. Hosts speak english and are very kind and helpful. Breakfast can be ordered onsite. Loved it. Will be back.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful and charming hotel - This hotel has a gorgeous charm to it. The design and architecture was just fabulous, it felt like stepping back into ancient China. We had a great stay. The bed was slightly too hard for our liking but other than that everything was perfect. Great value for money.

However the wall in my room was mouldy. the toilet door doesn't close The hotel receptionist helped me purchase tickets to the show YouJianPingYao at a mark up but claimed that the price I paid her is at cost. Not Honest.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent value - Perfect location tucked away from the noise of the main road yet so close. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows were super comfy. Only negative points are the shower above the toilet and the dirty marks on the walls by the bed. It wouldn’t cost much to keep them clean.
- Nicola (10/5): Loved it - this hotel was amazing! as soon as we walked in we were taken aback by how beautiful it was. The decor is traditional Chinese and has a really peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Every room had a seating area outside the room where you could relax as it was so tranquil. The room itself was spacious and spotless and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast was delicious (we paid extra for this) and there was an extensive range of dishes (including western food) on the breakfast menu. The hotel staff were friendly.The location is in the heart of Pingyao's ancient town so it is perfect to explore the area. I would highly recommend this hotel! I didn't want to leave!

- Keen (10/5): A very cool little hotel, worth the visit - Beautiful hotel with execellent service. We missed our speed train from Beijing and only used the room for a few hours but the owners waited up for us because the email we sent through didn't hit their account. When we arrived they were so accommodating, the hotel is beautifully decorated to give you a real feeling you are back 1000 years ago. The location was great too being a stone throws away from the heart of the old city. The owners were so nice they even gave us some juice to send us on our way and spoke amazing English!
- Cameron (8/5): - Very traditional style hotel in old Pingyao. Can walk to anything in the old city. The owner speaks great english and was helpful in arranging tickets to the Pingyao Youjian Theatre (highly recommended) and taxis. Has a western breakfast menu for those missing food from home. Would stay here again. They also have a cute golden retriever.
