• Javier (10/5): - Great location. The room is spacious and quiet and it was everything I needed. The staff was very helpful. You need to carefully read the instructions to get into the apartment. Not a big deal really.

• Nix (3/5): Great location but not much else - The location is great The telecom kept ringing (very loudly) for the entire first night. Since it's a room in a regular apartment building in Milan, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything around you. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows and linens were as cheap as possible. The room itself was a little rundown and could use some love. The instructions to enter the room we're very unclear and the staff, while nice, didn't seem to understand the layout of the building, adding to the confusion.
• FRANCESCA (9/5): A perfect abode for a weekend in Milano - Perfect place to stay for a weekend in Milan - amazing neighborhood, close to all main attractions. Lovely room - clean and spacious! The key system for the main building was a big fiddly but worked it out in the end.

Check-in is far too complicated, having to scan passport etc. myself the day before, no direct service at all. I am on holiday and don't want to do administration work for the accommodation provider.

Nous n'avons pas rencontré physiquement l'hôte mais nous avons pu communiquer facilement par mail et téléphone. Les indications pour obtenir les clés étaient très claires grâce à la vidéo transmise.

• Teresa (10/5): It was excellent - The bed and location was perfect. The lack of someone physically there to help us. The person was great helping us but we had no phone service and could not call the number. I understand the phone service was not ideal but the plan I bought only covered the internet. I was unaware until we arrived that it didn’t cover phone service. I really didn’t need my phone except with your apartment so it wasn’t worth paying the money. I just think there should be a second way to access the apartment.

• Pedro (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great stay, the room was very clean and spacious. The location is amazing, with many attractions within walking distance and with metro and tram stations very close as well. The train station where you can get the airport express was also a short walk away (10 min). None of this was a dealbreaker for us, and didn't hinder our stay, so this is more of a "could be better" rather than a negative: the check in process is a bit complicated and involves you calling them so they can remotely open doors for you, so if you don't have cell service it can be tough. We also were getting "unavailable" messages when we called the number provided on the check in instructions, but eventually got through by calling the number that was on google. The only other detail is that the TV isn't a smart one so you can't use any streaming services and are stuck with regular TV (mostly in italian).

We had a lot of noise issues from the permanent residents next door with hearing their tv and general noises well past 11pm. Unfortunately not much the host can do for this either.

• Nelumka (10/5): - This property is conveniently located by the Sforza castle and a 3 min walk to the Cairoli Metro station. We literally walked everywhere from this place. Our room AC did not work but besides that the place was clean, convenient and the customer service was lovely despite not being in person.

Also, NO water heat to take a shower. They repaired this on the last day. Basically, very nice and approachable staff, but much help when needed.

• Liz (9/5): Comfortable well priced hotel room in Brera - Located in Brera the apartment was spacious and in a great location. No onsite reception so need to arrange to meet someone with a key or collect key from another location if arriving out of hours (we arrived after 10pm). Downstairs there is a cafe to grab your morning caffe and pastry and located around the corner is the Princi Bakery which had the best coffee and pastries! Easy walking distance to all that Brera has to offer and short walk to Duomo and city centre. The room was quiet and I felt value for money in Brera. Nothing

• Liam (8/5): - Fantastic location for a short trip in Milan and cannot fault the location at all. The check in process is confused. If you know what time you are arriving, phone ahead as there is no reception / self check in at the BnB, someone comes to meet you to give you the keys. The biggest issue for us was that the room was not very sound proofed and we could more or less hear conversations in the room next to us. The drain in the shower also had a bad smell but the room was otherwise very clean and tidy.

Unfortunately the check in process was not great — you have to notify them via text 30 mins before arrival so they can let you into your room (there is no lobby for the hotel rooms as it is within a larger condominium building). We waited 15 mins past the agreed upon meeting time for someone to let us in.
• Sarah (8/5): Great stay, will be back again! Definitely recommend for a short stay! - The suite was extremely beautiful and clean. The staff were very helpful, friendly and receptive. The suite has a great location making all the sites extremely close on foot, but there are also 2 Metro stations closeby too! Air-conditioner wasn't as strong and so room took quite some time to cool. Next door neighbour's infant was up crying on a daily basis and could be heard very clearly from our room.

Was able to locate a phone number on my confirmation and it took them 45 minutes to come and open up the apartment to let us in. Communication

The only downside was the wifi was terrible and constantly dropped out (not good if you were on work calls). You do need to prearrange check in as there is no reception. They really should just WhatsApp people as someone arrived at 11pm and kept buzzing up for a different apartment.

Unlike most hotel rooms, there was good lighting with controls by the bed, as well as sufficient electricity and USB ports. Good location, close to Brera and the Castello.

Tricky to park nearby but the hotel staff helped us to locate a public parking garage. Great amenities in the room as well. No block-out curtains for the windows to block out the outside light at night.

• Inez (1/5): Disquieting, based on booking.com's description. - Location, bed comfortable, clean, modern. Host misrepresented check in time; the heating system was faulty. Called their emergency number, was no answer. Called back later, said the apt was heated by the building which is untrue. A later message said they checked the unit and it was ok; I don't believe it, when I turned it on, it blinked red indicating major malfunction. This is listed as a hotel. It is not a hotel. It is an NOT apt in a building but rather just a room and bathroom; there is no onsite staff- they meet in front of the building upon check-in.

Staff were very helpful with a late check in, allowing the key to be collected at their other 24h location. Central heating in the building was set very high and even with the air conditioning set to cool in the room and opening windows it was still quite hot.

• Chi-ching (8/5): Good location, perfunctory staff - Great location, nice decoration in the room. Apartment staff are not helpful, they only in contact for check-in and check out related issues. When I whatsapp them about extending my stay, there's no reply, then I called them and the guy replied" oh we simply have too many messages". Then he offered me a higher price than booking.com to book directly with him. There's no room cleaning until I called them and ask for it. It feels like the team are perfunctory and not passionate about running their own business.
