- shuval0vae (10/5): A perfect retreat - Creative person sometimes searches for inspiration outdoors. In this sense, President Hotel is a perfect place for lonely summer retreat. Cozy beds, noiseless room, delicate personnel... Wonderful kitchen, and great interiors. I haven't tried the Gym, maybe next time.

We are Disappointed at all from the beginning.We did check in main gate security was very much rude Bcz our taxi was not luxury. He asked passport very strange and who is coming with good car not at all question. No concierge service. Just now checked in room 814/823 man came to the room opened the door my colleague was naked and reception is normal for this situation. Rooms are very old furniture bath I don’t wanna use it at all. Still we have to stay 2nights in this hotel at all not safe not clean rude staffs. Please choose another hotel. Even hostel is better

View, big room , awesome breakfast , lobby on every floor , sauna and pool make our stay more romantic .staff , security and room service is best in my eyes . view from window watching in night moscow make me fall in love .
- 366vladimirz (10/5): Excellent hotel ! Highly recommend! - I stayed in the hotel for three weeks in June of 2022 and did not regret it for a moment! It is spotless. Friendly and helpful personnel. Tight security. The location is far above excellent: Muzeon Park is a few steps away. New Tretyakov Gallery is right there in the park. A few minutes away from the Old Tretyakov Gallery by foot, two subway(metro) stations and a myriad of cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets. If you are the one who likes to walk, Red Square is within walking distance there. A big bookstore is a few steps away from one of the metro stations(Polyanka). I attended a new book presentation and autographed signing there. One of the chain food stores a short block from the hotel is open 24 hours and offers anything your heart desires to eat, drink (including alcohol), and tobacco. The price of the stay is excellent too. I will stay there on my future trips.

Some of them are: - Reliability: hotel works many years, and every time it is a good service for the guests; - Reputation: to stay in otel it is respectable; -Safety: it is a good control to enter to the hotel.
- Oxana (10/5): - Overall, the stay was wonderful! The location is superb - right across the Museon Park; very close proximity to many places; walking distance to metro stations. The area is very well secured. My room was upgraded for free. I asked for an unplanned extension and my request was fulfilled despite the fact they were fully booked. The view was breathtaking - Peter the Great and the Moscow River. The cleaning team did an outstanding job - all my requests were done without any delays. The breakfast area was nice. The food selection was great - buffet style with many choices. I definitely will return and recommend the hotel to friends and family members.

Went out of their way to be helpful, providing English speakers, booked taxis and exchanges money. Our massage was great but there needed to be a fluent English speaker available to help with details regarding the spa. We loved the old style Russian flavor and large multi room suite!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is great option to stay in Moscow for its price/value. Excellent location (away from the busy city center) close to parks, embankment, red square, dining, all one may need. Very secure and clean property. To enter the hotel each guest and car has to pass through security gate, from there it’s a 30 sec walk to the front door. Very good breakfast and service for the price. There are a few drawbacks to consider: 1) we stayed in the Soviet style room for the experience and enjoyed it but mattresses were not too comfortable and bed springs could be felt 2) there is music from the embankment until about 11-11:30 pm every day and it could be heard even through the double glass heavy duty windows 3) room cleaning was inconsistent - every day we stayed something would be off - sometimes our bed wouldn’t be made or trash wouldn’t be thrown away or there would be no refill of tea/coffee and cups would be left dirty. However, any issues were quickly resolved and the staff was nice and helpful.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - This is a warning for all international travellers: I arrived at hotel which is fenced off to public. My taxi driver just left me at front gate. No signage in English. I finally, carrying three bags, arrived at side gate. Several stairs, no help. Inside a guard who is completely inpolite, did not have any patience to wait a minute that i get my passport out of bags. Instead checking whole name list, just "yelling" "passport" to me. This is the most unfriendly "welcome" I ever had in a hotel globally. Every time you want to get into hotel you need to go through this guard. I do not advise to stay in this hotel. Actually, arriving and facing up with this guard, and after having carried my bags almost around the whole area (you see on photos) I was upset and annoyed. I just said goodbye to the money and my booking. Right on spot I reserved another hotel and went there. I wrote the hotel, they did not respond and I asked them for full refund out of courtesy. If you are foreign, go to any other hotel in Moscow and I can guarantee you will be very welcome, face no issues like this. I think the guard is stuck in a cold war situation and I felt I enter some kind of military camp or special event. I stayed in end in the middle of Moscow, had the May 9 military trials in front my hotel. Security was everywhere tight, but at hotel they were super friendly, helped with luggage, welcomed me kindly.

- ELENA (6/5): День рождения гостя отель не заметил - Номера устаревшие по ремонту и мебели. Пружинный матрас старый, жидкие синтепоновые подушки. Старые краны в умывальнике и душе, Нужно было приложить силу, чтоб их повернуть. В день заезда у меня был день рождения, Президент Отель никак не отреагировал, такое со мной впервые ). Из хорошего: Персонал приветливый, и на ресепшн, и горничные, и официанты, и в оздоровительном центре, где действуют 2 сауны, есть небольшой бассейн 5х3 м Отель недалеко от метро Полянка, 5-6 минут ходьбы. Прекрасные завтраки с большим выбором закусок и горячего, свежевыжатые соки.

- Nadezhda (10/5): Выходные с прекрасным видом на Москву - Мы приехали раньше времени заселения, нас не поселили, оставили вещи в камере хранения и отправились гулять. До Кремля пешком минут 20 мимо Третьяковской галереи. Погуляли, вернулись. Заселение прошло быстро, барышни на ресепшн были очень любезны. Номер нам достался на 5 этаже с прекрасным видом на Москву-сити, творение Церетели, Храм Христа Спасителя и Останкинскую башню. Сам номер выглядел как в советские времена, но в этом тоже есть свой шарм. Понравилось наличие прихожей, чайника с чаем/кофе, халатов, тапочек и туалетных принадлежностей. С утра посетили сауну и бассейн, поели вкусный завтрак, сходили в Третьяковку по картам Друзей галереи. Еще понравилось, что посторонних в отель не пускают, проход по паспортам. Выходные в Москве прошли великолепно! Огромное спасибо сотрудникам отеля за гостеприимство :-)

Otelde Kahvaltı mükemmel, personel güler yüzlü, temizlik güzel. Yanlız Geç saatlerde otele geldiginiz zaman yemek için fazla alternatif yok.

Die Lage des Hotels ist passabel, die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer war gut. Im Haus wurde noch renoviert. Teppiche im Empfangsbereich herausgerissen und neu verlegt. Der Teppich im Zimmer ist stark staubbelastet. Beides ist schlimm für Allergiker. In unserem Stockwerk dauerhaft Gestank nach minderwertigem Parfüm. Das Zimmermädchen war leider nachlässig. Mal fehlten Handtücher, mal wurde der Kaffee nicht nachgefüllt, mal kein Trinkwasser bereitgestellt. Schon von der Straße her kommt an nur mit Zimmerkarte in den Hotelbereich. Im Haus tummeln sich reichlich VIP- Gäste mit ihren Bodyguards. Denen gilt die hauptsächliche Aufmerksamkeit des Personals. Das angepriesene Panoramarestaurant im 14. Stock war meist durch geschlossene Veranstaltungen belegt. Schade.

- Andrey (8/5): Не без косячков. )) - Забронировал через Hotels.com Полулюкс с 1 кроватью «Квин-сайз» (Реновированный). Заселили в обычный полулюкс с двумя односпальными кроватями. Почему так, разбираться не стал, но осадочек остался. Номер уже "уставший", шкафы скрипят, мини-бар пустой, половина каналов по TV не показывает, да и сам телевизор не первой свежести. Wi-Fi отваливается каждые 3 часа. Вернее Wi-Fi работает, а доступ к интернету прекращается. Если не догадаться переподключиться, то сообщений из сети можно долго ждать. В остальном нормально. И шикарный вид на город!

- Maria (10/5): - I highly recommend this property. We had a room with a really beautiful view of monument to Peter 1 and Church of Christ the Saviour. I have never seen any more beautiful view from a hotel room. Staff was very attentive to our needs and gave opportunity to change the room when it was noisy from a club located nearby. Breakfast had a variety of choice including such healthy option as porridge and freshly made omelet with vegetables and bacon. Overall atmosphere at this hotel is quite and comfortable. I recommend visiting a restaurant downstairs. You can have European food there as well as Russian food,for example, borsch. Location is very close to main attractions. Kremlin is within 2 bus stops. I recommend taking a river cruise from Gorky park, especially in the evening,so you can enjoy the colourful lights. Buy tickets online, otherwise you will pay much more at the entrance.

Loved the wide hallways with seating areas for diplomatic tete-a-tetes -- or a nice drink in the evening. The meeting rooms have a similar vintage feel, luxuriously done up. Hope this hotel retains its charm in the future!
- Gordon (8/5): Five nights in Moscow - Comfortable, excellent location and received room upgrade on arrival Staff friendly and helpful. WiFi reliable and relatively fast. Only problems were: 1 the quite ridiculous issue of there being no bottle opener in the room and of both room service and the bar being unable to supply one on request and 2 The business Centre being closed (apparently permanently) since I needed to print off some info at one stage. Reception, staff, however, ultimately assisted with this so no major issue. Breakfast, the only meal taken in the hotel, was substantial with a wide range of choice. I would stay there again.
- Susannah (10/5): Wonderful Views Over Moscow - We loved staying here. The location was great within walking distance to the Kremlin and other sites. The church next to the hotel was interesting. The internet access was unreliable but we would definitely stay here again.

The area itself is safe so it's not so much for safety but I believe to make sure only guests enter the premises. The hotel lobby, breakfast, and elevators are very elegant. The room was clean, had a great view, good amenities such as slippers which go a long way. The TV wasn't as big as other places but I didn't go to rewatch TV. There bed was comfortable and room service was excellent. It is within walking distance of Gorky park and a 10 minute walk to the metro. I'd definitely stay here again to be close to Gorky park.

The buffet breakfast was excellent and it was possible to request other options. Public transport was located close to the door though it is possible to walk to the centre in around 30 minutes.

It was opened in the 1980’s and a few famous and infamous world leaders of the past had stayed at President Hotel. What I liked the most was the view onto the river from our bedroom and also the neighbourhood which gave ample opportunity to rest with a stroll along the embankment in the evening and to dine in restaurants along the river. The staff were courteous and very responsive to our requests. The only downside was the absence of chocolate spread at breakfast.

Great central location not very far from Red Square. Décor a little dated but if you are not too fussy about that, it only adds to the charm. Massive breakfast selection - could always find something delicious. Housekeeping, security & breakfast staff efficient, very friendly and helpful, however the reception desk girls were unwelcoming and not keen to help with any issues. Overall a very pleasant stay in this comfortable hotel!

- Verified traveler (8/5): - My husband and I stayed at this hotel only for 2 nights, visiting from Miami. This is an old school upscale hotel with a feel of old school luxury. Location is amazing, very convenient for anything you can think of. Breakfast was also top-notch. Staff was professional and helpful. The first night was spent in a room that was just old, with multiple problems, but we were too tired to do anything as it was so late, so we just dealt with it. However, as soon as we reported it in the morning, we got another room, which was absolutely beautiful, with a spectacular view, and the room condition was outstanding as well. We even received a complimentary fruit platter, which was a nice touch :) So, the way that the hotel staff handled the issue was remarkable, and we ended up one happy couple visiting this beautiful city. The view from my room was breathtaking. The hotel is in a rather noisy area though. I stayed there for 6 nights, ending on Friday. A night club across the river was blasting music till about 6 am and my room shook with the vibrations from that. Not the hotel's fault, just more conducive to going to that club that sleeping.

Moscow is stunning! Russian bed linen seems a bit different and doesn't seem to fit the beds - we have found that in other style accommodation as well. Overall, great value. Great breakfast.
- DAVID (8/5): Good hotel, great location. - The location is excellent, right nearby scenic views of the Moskva and river, Gorky Park, less than 30 minutes walking distance to Red Square. Although the room's decor looked like a throwback to Soviet times, it was clean and comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. Really, it's all about the prime location, and for that reason alone, I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Moscow.

I never saw such kind of variety of choices anywhere and I traveled extensively in North America and Europe. Easy walking distance to the city centre, approx 5-10 minutes walk to the Kremlin and 15 to Red Square. Very security conshence hotel and friendly staff always willing to help. - Robbie (8/5): Soviet Union Relic - The hotel was comfortable and not too disappointing. The let down was mainly the people working in it. The reception people were pretty cold and unhelpful. The exception was the concierge Rita who we found very helpful and very willing. Her counterpart Victor should be avoided, he is only interested in what he can make from you. The cleaning staff were also pretty poor although we found one did a pretty thorough job. The others did the bare minimum. Breakfast buffet was very good considering it is included in the price. No rush to close and often still continued after the 11am deadline. Bar was expensive and a waste of time. No restaurant was operational whilst we stayed Metro stations are 15minute walk so pretty accessible. Airport collection is expensive (4000rubles). Taxi is less than half of this and works well. Would recommend if all you are looking for is bed and breakfast and a little guidance from Concierge Rita.
