• Ramon (8/5): - The room was clean and comfortable. Pillows were nice, but next time we will choose a bigger bed. The room and the whole place were clean. The staff was friendly and nice. Beautiful natural surroundings. The AC in the room, a plus!

• David (8/5): - Our unit's air conditioner was too weak for mid-Augus heat. Otherwise, it was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The unit was clean.. The unit had its own shower, and it was spacious. The nearby restaurant selection was sparse. So we dined in La Parguera about 20 minutes to the south. We would stay here again, but would ask for a room with a better air conditioner..

It is a hotel located inside a college dorm building which was very unique and I liked the vibe of the place. The room was clean and had its own private bathroom. Would definitely recommend.

Google maps shows the wrong location on campus and security at campus gates didn't know where the hostal was. It's across from the running track. Harder to find at night and not all gates to campus were open at night so I had to drive around. Plenty of parking.

• TINA (10/5): Super great value - Wow -what a gem. Great price for a clean, spacious, comfortable place to sleep. It's a dorm room - but what a great value. Only complaint was not knowing the gates to the campus would close on the weekend. A little advanced warning of this with written directions to the alternate entrance would have been VERY helpful. I would recommend for the budget-wise traveller.

• Marivi (8/5): - Limpio, tranquilo, con facilidades de nevera, microondas, blower, plancha, agua caliente. Lo único q no estaba disponible fue la lavadora para lavar la ropa de playa. Recomendado si quieres estar en un lugar económico, limpio, seguro, aunque un poco retirado de las playas pero si te gusta explorar pueblos y conocer nuevos rumbos es perfecto.

• CAMILO (10/5): After many years, I was back in PR for a week... - Great accommodations. It is a great alternative and should continue expanding their offer. The only two concerns is food availability and parking They should consider a small in campus cafeteria or similar. A parking should be considered rather that parking on the street. Next time in the area, I will stay there!

• Aimee (8/5): Will be back; good value - If you’re looking for a clean place with a nice hot shower, a room with a/c and a comfortable bed, this is it. There are no frills, no bar and no restaurant. It is a comfortable college dorm that provides all the basics: toiletries, ironing board, hairdryer etc. It’s a place to say goodnight after a day at the beach or sightseeing. Not a lot to do in San German after hours anyway. The boys may get a little noisy at night but, hey, you’re in an all-male college dorm.

They close gates at 5pm so if you get there after 5pm you will need help getting to the open area where you go through security as if you are going to the White House. First time shame on them second time shame on me, NEVER AGAIN!!!

• CS (8/5): - So this hostel is on a university campus which is great for safety but a night the main gates are closed so it was a bit hard to get in. The staff was super friendly and kind. The rooms itself were very clean, but they are basically dorms.

The staff is super nice and helpful. The room is nice size and clean. But the facilities are kind old, we had a AC that made noise all night long.

• David (6/5): - This is not a hotel,but a students residence.Don't expect to find luxury here,but we had the basics like in a motel.It's unfortunately very noisy in the evenings(loud reggae music or students yelling)up to 11pm.There was no internet during my stay(3days),nor hot water. But the staff was cozy and friendly.People are nice and friendly in Cabo Rojo area,like in Canada :) I would go back for this,not for the hotel itself.
• ruby (10/5): First Christmas In Puerto Rico - This was a Christmas vacation for my first Christmas in Puerto Rico and my 88 year old mom’s first Christmas in Puerto Rico in approximate 55 years. This property was booked because it is located where our family resides. Although the hotel is simple we had a beautiful vacation in San German, Puerto Rico. The staff were friendly and very helpful with information pertaining to local eating places and travel directions. Simple but cleanliness is truly what I am concerned about. This location was perfect for the activities we had planned.

We were diving early one morning in La Parguera and just needed an inexpensive hotel to stay the night before to decrease the distance to drive. This hotel was a former dormitory and the room we had was perfect for the 3 of us. It had 2 twin beds and a twin sofabed in a separate seating area. The woman who checked us in was so helpful and accommodated our request for a late check out. This allowed us to return back to the room to take a much needed shower after our morning of diving. Thank you!

Quite area (when class is out) reasonable rates, decor is dorm setting, hot water, fridge place to wash ur azz & sleep. Its Puerto Rico get out and explore!
• Verified traveler (4/5): - This was my fault. I should have read the reviews. The facilities are actually on campus of a functioning university. We shared the building with male students. The university rents the unused wing out to the public as a means to generate income. The facilities were nice as far as dorms go. (Much better than at my daughter's college.) There were two single beds, then a separate shower and toilet. There was also a small sitting area with a couch and table. The water was hot and there were clean towels. However, as with any dorm room, the beds were well used (mattress uncomfortable) and the walls were paper-thin. The place was extremely safe.

The phone number listed on Expedia page is not the direct number to the receptionist checking in guests. After spending an hours with Expedia agent, we finally got through with a correct phone number. Maybe an accurate driving direction for accessing the property will be great.

• Nina (10/5): - It was a great discovery, it’s relative close to Pargueras, Lajas, Boqueron and Joyudas, places that are always crowd and expensives. This hotel have all amenitives, including the black-out cortains, iron board and extras pillows, matres are divine and hot water 24! Since it is inside the Interamericana campus it provide complete security.

• John (8/5): A great southwest anchor location - A little difficult to find as the university campus was closed and the gates locked. However, we were guided in and all was well. Huge room with kitchenette and lots of closet space. Nothing fancy, but laundry service was down the hall and it was a great spot to get to all the southwest PR sights.
