Guest Reviews
No tengo críticas
- LORENZO (10/5): - Mi sono trovato molto bene con la Proprietaria Lina, persona deliziosa che mi ha accolto benissimo e che prepara delle super colazioni! Mega consigliato
- gutobsilva (10/5): -
- Hilary (9/5): - Great location, near to restaurants and cafes arrived very late but Lina was happy to let us in. Lovely home, relaxing and made to feel very welcomed. Bathroom far from the room
- Carlos (10/5): I had a great weekend staying at Posada Guasu in Samaipata. - The central garden, location is half block from the main square and the person in charge was so gentle and helpful. .
- Allocco (10/5): Exceptional - Lina, the host, is very warm and helpful! It’s super clean, quiet and right near the center. I would definitely go back.
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Joel (9/5): Lovely Authentic homestay in Samaipata - Supersweet host. Authentic property. Great hot shower and location Minor improvement would to have a communal kettle available for guests to use to make hot drinks.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maya (10/5): Beautiful hostel and an amazing host💖 - Lina is an amazing host. Amazing house, very clean, on the main plaza. The breakfast was great. The room was very comfortable The wifi didn’t work upstairs
- Jing (9/5): Beautiful pousada in a great location with a very kind owner who helps you with anything you need! Would definitely stay - Very comfortable, beautifully decorated and the owner was so lovely! She helped us with all our needs Nothing! There’s no kitchen facilities but other than that, everything was great.
- Gillian (10/5): Wonderful - Comfy beds in a beautiful home with tasty breakfast and a warm and friendly host. I absolutely recommend.
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ella (10/5): Exceptional - The host is the sweetest! The hostel is
- Adam (6/5): Not worth the cost of the private room. WiFi doesn’t work. - Staff was very nice WiFi would work for about 5 minutes. I ended up having to use all my data while staying here. I asked them to resolve it multiple times. They would simply unplug and replug it and say, fixed! It would then stop working again after 5 minutes.
For the cost, I was better staying at an airbnb or something that had a private bathroom and functioning WiFi.
- Geoff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Egle (10/5): Exceptional - Love love loved Posada Guasu! Lina, the owner, is super kind, caring and will greet you like a family. The place is very well looked after, beautifully coordinated and the garden is amazing - you can only appreciate how much work goes into running a place like that. Also, the breakfast was very tasty. Couldn’t recommend enough - perfect place to unwind!
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Calum (9/5): Perfect place to relax and recharge in Samaipata - Lovely garden area with hammocks to chill after a hike. The owner, Lina, was so nice! She really makes the place feel like home and provides a great breakfast every morning. Nothing l!
- Nico (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place, but most of all, amazing host! Thank you so much Lina for your kindness :)
- Christian (10/5): Great - Great Great
- Andres (10/5): Exceptional -
- Francois (10/5): Yes, this is a great option. - For a few days, this was a home away from my home. Friendly and helpful English speaking hostess. Great room, great breakfast, beautiful property, central location. Highly recommended.
- Alice (9/5): Home away from home - You feel right at home here, with a friendly welcome and great service, located right near the centre of Samaipata, you can get everywhere easily, and the owner is so helpful, offering advice on what to do in the area. It's also beautifully decorated. Nothing - all was good!
- Kristin (9/5): Superb -
- Tom (8/5): Very good - Doña Lina is such a nice, caring host und puts all her effort in her guesthouse and making guests feel at home. You have "hamacas" in the patio and the garden looks lovely, too. The shared bathrooms however lacked water sometimes and are way too small which means you take a shower right above the toilet seat which will of course lead to flooding the whole 1x1m "bathroom".. also the Wifi hardly working so I was a bit disappointed with the installations.. See above
- Luis (8/5): Very good -
- Mteny (10/5): Exceptional - A beautiful bed and breakfast in Samaipata in a heritage building. The owner Lina is lovely - in addition to always looking like a movie star she is so helpful and accommodating. She prepared an excellent breakfast every day as well! I stayed in the loft and the floors were very creaky! Also the bathroom is in the garden. But these were for me just features of the property, not really downsides.
- Leah (9/5): Great location and beautifully designed and decorated guest house. - The owner was extremely kind. She answered all of our questions and kept the place extremely clean. The place was beautifully decorated and the breakfast was lovely. The only thing I did not love was the bathroom situation. We had to go downstairs and outside to get to the bathrooms and there were mosquitos in the garden; however, I think this set up is quite common for this area.
- Florence (10/5): Had the best short stay with my friend, the owners made us feel so comfortable and welcome, and provided lovely breakfas - How comfortable and cosy it was Mosquitos in the bathroom, but everything else was perfect
- Lila (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maxence (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mital (10/5): Exceptional - This place was amazing. The host was beautiful, nice, and very helpful. She even went out of her way to get us a fan for our room. She cooked breakfast for us, which was delicious. And even helped us negotiate a taxi to get back to Santa cruz. If you're going to samapati, check out this cute little b and b with a personal touch. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Everything was amazing.
- Daniel (10/5): Beautiful stay - The house and garden were really nice and lovely. Our room was comfortable and clean. We loved the very delicious breakfast.
Lina is a fantastic and wholesome host, who gave us good tips on what to do in Samaipata.
- Bieke (10/5): Exceptional - The owner is really friendly, the homemade breakfast delicious. The garden is really cute and well maintained. The owner also has a nice little wine shop selling local wine, not to miss!
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Russell (10/5): Wonderful place to stay - A wonderful place to stay
Comfortable, friendly and just 50 metres from the main square.
Excellent breakfast.
Comfortable bedroom and shared bathroom was always clean.
Charming hostess.
- Greg (8/5): Great pousada - Very nice posada with lots of art and ornaments to look at. Has a warm and cozy home feel. Excellent garden area with hammock. Room was comfortable. Very welcoming host. Can be a bit noisy at night as the is a bar on the corner of the street. The bathroom was not convenient or close to the room
- Joris (8/5): Nice garden! - Awesome indoor garden where you can chill in a hammock or chair. Nice complete breakfast, very nice owner. Very nice dog (Silverito) The location is close to the main square, but that came with a lot of noise nuisance. We slept in one of the rooms with shared bathroom. These have windows also on the street side. We had to sleep with earplugs every day.
- Søren (10/5): Exceptional - Very cozy place and beautiful patio. Super nice and helpful host, good location and breakfast. Everything was fine.
- Edward (10/5): After three months of travel it was like being in a nice cozy home with very sweet family vibes! -
- Inge (10/5): Exceptional - We had a lovely stay! Nice room, beautiful garden and in the city center. The owner is really friendly and helpful.
- Anonymous (10/5): Couldn’t imagine being ill in any other hostel. - The host was super lovely. We arrived initially only planning to stay for 2 nights to do the Amboro National Park (in the middle of the night, ~4am after the night bus from Sucre). However, due to illness, ended up staying here for 8 nights! Nina was really helpful with advice around pharmacies, doctors, and made lots of nice tea and even went and bought us plain crackers from a local shop to help recovery and moved us to a room with private bathroom when it became available! The property is nice and homely and in a really good location, next to the main plaza, so it was one of the best places to be ill! Highly recommend! Shared shower was quite stabby but overall a tiny detail for the loveliness of the place and host!
- Samuel (9/5): Superb - Super Host!
- Nataliya (10/5): Exceptional - Loved staying at this adorable accomodation!
Host was very helpful and cooks the best breakfast in Bolivia!!
- Alan (9/5): Superb - Lena was an excellent hoast, the place is located just off the main square , the only down side is motor bike traffic in the morning but not a problem during the night
- Bianca (10/5): Exceptional - Lina is the heart of this Posada - she is so loving, chatty and helpful.
I felt so comfortable that I extended my stay, the inner courtyard is beautifully maintained and has hammocks available.
Lina prepares simple but yummy breakfast.
Location couldn't be more central - 1 min to the central square
Room was cozy!
Thank you!
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional - Best breakfast in South America. Exceptional host full of helpful information. Fine attention to detail in a beautiful home. Perfect location half a block from the plaza and the pub! Nothing.
- Chrisdatischler (10/5): Feels like home - Very friendly and happy owner who is always open to a chat.
Very cosy room and nice atmosphere in the common area.
- Sofy (10/5): Exceptional - Very cozy place with a beautiful garden right in the centre of Samaipata. Lina the owner was brilliant. A perfect place to stay and relax for days. Super recommended!
- Alexandra (10/5): Idyllic paradise - Absolutely marvelous place. Beautiful old (read: full of history and memories, old in a good way) house filled with plants, antiques and good energy. The garden is fantastic - filled to the brim with lovely flowers, plants and shrubs, perfect place to chill in a hammock. Very nice folkcloric rooms.
The host, Lina, is such a sweetheart. We had some great conversations about Samaipata and Bolivia in general. Very lovely and helpful lady.
The breakfast was also superb - at first glance, a standard eggs with toast and jam CB, but everything was so much nicer than usual - eggs were nicely seasons, cheese was fresh and delicious, jam seemed to be homemade, juice was freshly squeezed. Plus, a nice fruit salad and delicious coffee.
A small paradise!
- Behnoush (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fabs (10/5): Exceptional - I did love the owners attention and also the place is wonderful. Nothing
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Eric (10/5): perfect stay - the owner was the cutest, super sweet and attentive. the location is very center.
- Anonymous (10/5): perfect - the host was amazingly sweet. close to town and homey garden. so boutique no say
- Jamie (10/5): Traditional house full of charm with the most delightful host. - We were welcomed by the delightful Lina who made us feel immediately at home. Her care and warmth was amazing. Her beautiful bijou house, steeped in history exuded charm. It was like staying in a postcard if that makes sense! :)
- J (10/5): Exceptional - The lady of the house was very nice and also helpfull. -
- Christian (9/5): Superb -
- Lucas (10/5): Exceptional - Lina is a lovely host. She is always ready to help with any need and has many tips for trips all around Samaipata. Also she prepares great breakfast.
The patio is beautiful and green with hammocks.
- Barbie (9/5): Superb - loved the place, our host was such a lovely person and helped us out immensely. nil
- Anonymous (10/5): Had an amazing stay here, Lina cooks the best and most nutritious breakfast, beds are comfortable and properly is in a p - Property was in the perfect place 1 minute walk to the centre, was very comfortable and couldn’t ask for a better host
- Guilherme (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tom (7/5): good location, lovely host, simple amenities - Lovely owner, Central location, good breakfast it was as expensive as the other hotel we stayed in Samaipata which was luxurious in comparison. our stay here was good but didn’t offer the same amenities for the price. shower involved a walk across the courtyard where the owners dogs would bark which could put people off
- Christian (9/5): Superb -
- Diego (10/5): Exceptional - A well-deserved 10. The location is perfect, half a block away from the main square. Lina is a very nice host. The property itself is one of the cosiest accommodations I've ever seen. My room was comfortable and lovely.
- Katy (9/5): Cosy house with lovely owner - The host (can't recall her name, apologies!) was so lovely throughout our stay! She was really friendly and kindly let us stay in the room after check out time as it wasn't been used and my boyfriend was feeling ill, then we were also able to leave our bags at the house while we explored the town before our night bus. She also gave us helpful information on things to do and how to buy bus tickets. Thank you!
The room was really cosy, and the breakfast was homemade, tasty and very filling.
We also loved the host's two cute dogs! We loved the place - only comment would be that when we arrived, it seemed closed but I think the host was at the market. We pushed the door open and just waited in the cosy living room so it was all okay.
- Lukasz (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martina (10/5): What a lovely homely place! The host is exceptional, she takes care of all her guests. Thank you!! -
- Anett (10/5): super friendly host and nice place to stay in the midst of the village - very welcoming host, nice cosy room, all very clean and breakfast included in the price. centrally located, so you can reach everything by foot within a short time As it is centrally located, you hear some traffic or neighbors party which might disturb when someone is sensitive to noise
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - We had an absolute lovely time at Posada Guasu. Lina (the host) was really nice and helped us with anything. The accommodation is situated next to the mainplace of Samaipata and everything can be reached by foot just within minutes.
- Aurelie (10/5): Exceptional - careful lady who welcomed us in the middle of the night, very nice ! the room was just perfect, thank you for everything!
- Joseph (9/5): Superb - A beautiful hotel set in a stunning part of Bolivia. One of the major advantages is the location, next to the central plaza and mototaxi rank. If you want to go to El fuerte, it's well placed. The hotel is clean, beautiful and has a fantastic owner that's incredibly friendly and know about the local area. She also speaks English for foreign travellers. For the price, it's one of the best deals available One of the downsides is some of the room have no bathroom, which is located in the main courtyard. It's a minor inconvenience (as in many Bolivian hotels) but it's cheap and good value to pay a little extra for a room with a private bathroom
- Lennart (9/5): Lovely stay! - The owner Lina was very friendly, helpful and nice to meet. She makes this accomodation extraordinary, without being pushy or annoying.
The patio is beautiful, the whole hostel was clean and neat, the location is very central. The rooms are noisy when you walk around and thin walls lets you hear other guest, to an extent. Beds are good, but room size is a little small. But in total not much to worry about, just not perfect.
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional - the hostel is a beautiful and authentic old house and Lina the owner isendless lovely
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I loved the little touches as in hand made signs and crafts. Very cosy clean place. Conveniently located close to main square.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Centralt o mycket fint o mysigt. Vacker trädgård o go frukost
- Verified traveler (10/5): Friendliest service in a beautiful hotel-house - The owners were so friendly and the hotel so quaint and well- cared for that I would absolutely stay there again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Muy lindo y re buena gente. Fue un placer quedarme ahí
- ruben (10/5): Excellent - Excellent experience nice people we strongly recmend this place excellent location!!!
