- Matt (6/5): - It was a clean room in a good location in Manzanita. I am guessing their other rooms are probably nicer, so would like to stay in one of them some time, but we were in an adjacent building and not in the main part of the Inn. We got it because it was relatively cheap and we were booking last minute. The room was pretty basic (bed, one chair, microwave, fridge, nice TV). It did have a jacuzzi tub, so that was its one "frill". Would I stay again? I would look around, but if nothing looked better I would stay there. Oregon Coast is expensive, so you kinda get what you pay for.

- Chelsea (2/5): - Unfortunately I canāt recommend staying here. I paid $534 for two nights and am shocked with what I got for that cost. Our room was dirtyāsalt covering the ledge where the microwave was that we had to clean up, spider/cobwebs all over the beams and bathroom ceiling, and the floors were filthy and gritty (see pic of just one swipe of the floor). Itās old and in dire need of a complete renovation and I feel we were charged a price as if one has already been done. The bathroom fan is loud and creates a smell of smoke, and the place is very loud where you can hear anyone in the hall or above you (including a dog that barked each morning). Craig the maintenance guy is very nice and we appreciated him turning off the gas fireplace that was going when we got in, but other than that and the location, we wish we had found somewhere else for the two nights. The property said they credited me $100 back for the situation, but honestly this isnāt enough given the price and just how run down the property currently is so it still wasnāt worth the price to stay here.
- Lisha (8/5): - The property was undergoing some remodeling construction, so the front desk was actually located across the street. No big deal, but a little distracting. Our room was quite cozy. Window blinds were broken so we had to get staff to fix that. They did in a timely way, which was great. Overall I would probably stay there again because I love Manzanita so much, but itās not worth the cost. Hotel prices along the OR coast are all over-priced.
- Michael (10/5): - Great room at the Inn. 2 minutes from the 7 miles of beach nearby. The only beef with the property is how loud the noise from the upper floor sounds. Otherwise, it's amazing. All amenities. Super clean. Easy access. Matching robes for hyper-cuteness. DVD library. Etc. Stay here.

Itās got the charm of Old Florida with the kind of personal touch you just donāt get anymore. Woke up to waves and coffee on the patio, steps from the sand. Rooms were spotless, cozy, and had that breezy, coastal vibe ā not overdone, just right. The staff? Salt-of-the-earth people who treat you like family without hovering. No massive lobbies or wristbands ā just sunshine, sea air, and everything you actually want from a beach vacation. Walk to local seafood joints, grab a bike, or just park it with your toes in the sand. If you're lucky enough to find a vacancy, book it. You'll leave relaxed, recharged, and already planning your next stay

- Andrew (8/5): Good times at Manzanita! - This is a very friendly hotel! The staff was great. Location is in the middle of everything! The tv/ entertainment system is older and hard to operate. Couldnāt find the guide. If it gets off the hdmi-1 location your dead. Seemed like someone in room south of the Beachcomber was doing construction till around 10:45 pm. We have stayed in the building on the SE corner of the property and it was fabulous, thought this stay was going to be the same. Over all, a good stay. Price was reasonable.

Everything worked, which was good but it is just showing its age. I was clean though - so important!!

Nothing can detract from the natural beauty of this beautiful area. However, we were very disappointed with the accommodation. The buildings are very tired and run down, in need of external repairs and internal maintenance. The room was cramped and dirty. The old Venetian blinds were covered in thick dust. They didnāt look like they had been cleaned all year. The carpets and furniture are very worn and stained.

Itās definitely a bit down at heel and is in need of a good cash infusion to update and do some basic improvements. We have never found our rooms to be dirty and the mattresses and linens are good. Just be careful of the rooms (Whale Watcher is one) with āsleeping nooksā unless youāre fine crawling in and out over your partner. Awkward.

- Howard (6/5): - Our room was clean. Property convenient to Manzanita restaurants and a block from the beach. But property well depreciated and in need of remodel. One window would not shut and door to deck would not lock.

- Marie (6/5): - The unit we were in was clean, fairly quiet and nicely located near the beach and shops. It was really showing wear and tear: none of the blinds could be raised, though at least you could open and close them. Some windows did not have screens, but you had to have them open due to heat buildup during the days. The west windows were very dirty (perhaps due to blown seals) and the windowsills were in need of refinishing. The shower appeared to be pretty old, and though it was a good shower functionally, it was dingy, with chipped paint and faded wallpaper border. The shower curtain did not reach the shower sill. For the price you could stay in a nice Best Western in Seaside. Everything was convenient, clean and comfortable, just worn out. Needs a cosmetic refresh.

- Michele (8/5): - The property is in the center of town, very walk-able to shops and the beach. The facilities are very dated, electrical does need to be updated, I blew the circuit twice by using the potato button on the microwave. The sliding glass door sticks and you have to use brute force to open it. No AC so this was our only option for ventilation in 85 degree weather. I love that it is dog friendly. It is not handicap accessible.

I love that they give you an old-fashioned huge I assortment of DVDs that I put into the player to watch an actual movie as the electric fireplace was going in our room. It was easy check-in and perfect location and I just loved everything about this place. It has a great little kitchen with a refrigerator and then the bed that was tucked into the wall was adorable. Super comfortable. The huge Jacuzzi tub was unused by me, unfortunately but I will be bringing my husband back next time who will definitely use that and the comfy bathrobes that they provide. perfect stay for a small family. I did not pull out the sofa bed so I am not sure if it is comfortable or not. But there is plenty of room to do so as itās almost like a small apartment. We will definitely book here again and Iām glad that we booked months in advance because it definitely gets sold out .

- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean, cozy, convenient, and quiet - It was quite rainy during our stay so we were especially happy to have such a nice room with jacuzzi and gas fireplace. There is only one other room in the building. It was very quiet, which we appreciated. Nicely decorated. Knotty pine ceiling. Electric kettle, plates, bowls, cutlery, toaster, microwave, and tiny sponge and dishwashing liquid for washing dishes. Bed was very comfortable. All very cozy.
- Kim (10/5): - Cute friendly place. My son took his dog and me to Manzanita and we stayed here. Such an awesome friendly town and Inn. The owners were more than accommodating. The room was immaculate and they even provided a towel & blanket basket and a dog bowl for the pup. 30 second walk to the beach.

- Verified traveler (6/5): I think they can do better - I love Manzanita. We were disappointed with the room. It was very different from the photo online, much smaller. The outlet that service the YV and DVD player only had one working plug, so we could not use the fireplace while watching a movie. The chairs were wobbly. The heater was noisy. We could hear the hot tub above us while being used and while draining. The reforestation was noisy. The linens and bathroom were clean, but the rest of the experience was not great.

- BENJAMIN (8/5): - Our unit appeared to have updated bathroom, and window coverings worked. Window covering were problem in previous stays in other units, so not sure if upgrade everywhere or just our unit. Ventilation at night was minor issue because it's ground level and windows had to be nearly closed or completely closed for security. TV was modestly sized but good picture, and easy two switch between the DVD player and cable.
- Steven (6/5): - I had higher expectations for this property, not knowing the area, than was delivered. This property seems to have units that are a little more tucked away, so I suggest calling the property to make your reservations so that you know which ones are more secluded and not on the street side, especially if you are looking for a more romantic experience. Three of the rooms, ours included, that have the fireplace and spa tub for two experience, are on the street side...the main street of the town. We had the taqueria across the street serenading us with their outdoor speaker till 10:15 at night all three nights. The bed was very old and creaky in the Manzanita room and we even tried to flip the mattress since it was pillow top on both sides. I would say mattress is at least 10 years old. We even added our own fluffy mattress pad since most hotel mattresses are firm, but it really didn't help much. The pillow top is just too worn down. The coffee pot wasn't cleaned out and still had some grounds and liquid in the bottom. The ceiling fan was so thick with dust on every blade that I would say it had been at least 6 months to a year since it was cleaned. Overall, it just needs to be overhauled and spruced like paint, caulking, wood refinishing. This is all well and good for an average stay, right on the main drag, with a 2 minute or so walk down to the beach access. But, it's not really romantic and the bed, I have to reiterate, must be replaced!
- Beth (4/5): - Our refrigerator hadn't been cleaned in a long time. crumbs, old food etc. Gross. It just made me think everything else had be cleaned badly. Also the bars on the fridge door were all broken so we couldn't use. The decor was stained and tired. Watermarks on wood trim etc. Honestly if they gave the place a lick of paint and a good scrub it would help. I asked for an iron and they didn't have any. Bed was plush and somewhat comfortable. A little soft. Sofa bed was ok. Location was great. cupboards were stinky... they need a good disinfect.

- Natasha (4/5): - While there were some nice features such as the woodwork, this was a disappointing stay. It was a huge splurge for me at nearly $500 for two nights. The bathroom, including the toilet, was dirty. The sheets were stained. There was sand all over the table. Staff are only available to check you in from 4-5. You can hear every sound through the walls, ceiling. The mattress was old and uncomfortable. Someone did change the stained sheets for me, but overall this was not a good experience and not worth the cost.

Comfortable room, with thoughtful features to make our visit comfortable. This hotel is in a great location in downtown Manzanita. We look forward to staying there again in the near future.

- tia (8/5): - The place was great but itās not on the beach and we did not have a beach view from our room. But itās close - just a block away from the beach. We got there on a weekend and were on the main street so it was noisy with cars but on Monday all was quiet. Very nice room and facilities.

- gale (8/5): - We liked the beachy character of the Inn at Manzanita. Our room was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi tub after a long day in the car. Our room was quiet and well stocked with towels, glass coffee mugs and wine glasses etc. The only ripple we had was that we failed to understand the check in time. We arrived mid day and wanted to check in, but the office staff were busy elsewhere and not in office until later in the day. It all worked out well, as we went for a walk on the beautiful beach and then got checked in. Pay attention to the posted check in times. This is a small, beachy place, not a "city" hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice and quaint hotel - Great hotel. Restaurants have strange hours. Keep a very close eye on days and times for each restaurant. The heater in our room did not stop and start to keep it comfortable. It got really hot and then cold when you tuned it down to stop heating. Loved the jacuzzi tub.
