First of all, we were checked into a room that was already occupied. The room we got second time around had mould in the bathroom, and there was a gap between the bath and the walls, and this gap was covered in dirt. Floorboards were all breaking apart, and the wfi router was just hanging off the back of the tv. The Tv didn't work. We would have checked out and gone somewhere else had it not been 11pm and been flying for 11 hours, and it was just for 1 night. As for breakfast, you could get some cold noodles and water, and that was it. They had bread and a toaster, but no butter, and only marmalade jam. I eventually got some butter, but only after asking twice. I think this hotel is rated 3 stars, which is way too high for what is offered. Again, we didn't pay much for the room, but the basic expectation is that the room is clean.I can put it up with rooms being old or falling apart a bit. Just needs to be clean..

Very run down, lack of maintenance to building , water damaged internal walls, rusted broken toilet seat. Torn curtains, filthy stained day bed and lounges, holes in window frame at floor level allowing mosquito to enter. The list goes on, cleaning methods were a disgrace, draws that wouldn’t close and dust that has build up since the place was built. This coming from someone that has ruffed it in the most basic of places without a complaint. But the view was spectacular.

My brother stayed in a Deluxe Double Room and found many cockroaches in the room, which was very unacceptable. When we requested a room change, the staff did not seem concerned at all and reacted as if this was something normal. The overall service was also not good. The staff were not cheerful. Before arriving, I tried calling the hotel multiple times via phone and WhatsApp, but no one answered at all. I stayed in a King Room, which was also not very clean. On top of that, the breakfast was very poor in both quality and selection. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience and I would not recommend this hotel.

A lot of steep steps to entry. Handrail out of use as steps had plants all down that side. We booked 2 nights through booking.com and when we booked one extra night at reception, charged us almost the same as we had paid for two. Floof was damaged ad a bit dangerous. Had to remember to turn on water heater 10 minutes before if you wanted a shower.

Sheets were clean I assume, but saw some hairs on sheets. Floors needed to be mopped better. Tv remote doesn't work in room 805 and when they fixed it, it only turned the TV on.channels and volume still didn't work. Could use fresh coat of paint. Walls were dirty and chipped.drain needs to be cleaned in shower. fridge smelled like mildew and the mini bar should not be charged.the beers are cheap.so to me it should have been included. Don't put snacks and beverages if it's not included in room. Or put a sign on the items and make it clear that they aren't free.

The room is very outdated, smells extremely musty, and looks like it hasn’t been maintained. Booking.com gave a decent deal of €15 a night with breakfast included so I didn’t complain too much but was honestly delighted to leave. The breakfast we only did once the skipped for the remainder of the stay. We went at 7am and nearly everything was gone, it didn’t seem like they were bothered about replacing anything. The one night we want to the hotel roof top restaurant it should have been open but no one was there and it didn’t look overly clean either.

The room smelled strongly of smoke, despite being told it was a non smoking room. The pool was under construction when we arrived, we were not informed of this prior to arrival so we were disappointed with this. Overall the hotel was one of the most expensive hotels we stayed in during our entire trip in Vietnam and it was definitely not worth the money.

The bathroom was terrible, only 1 light, there was a bad smell coming from the sink drain and the caulking where the wall tile meets the floor was grossly discolored yellow. The included breakfast on the first morning was was basically toast, veggies and pho. When i asked if they were going to fill the warming equipment with food the response was no and gave the reason as "there's not enough guests to do the full breakfast" The location is great but the street the hotel is on has a sewer smell along the entire length for blocks. The odd thing is if you cross the street to the river boardwalk there is no smell at all. You can see the dragon bridge if you have a room with a view and its a short walk to go and see it up close. There is a night market across the street from the front of the dragon head. The water pressure is awesome in the shower. The skyview bar, pool and area on the top floor has not been maintained and looks grundgy and does not look as depicted in photos. Overall dissapointed in the place for the price they charge.

The hotel is somehow run down, the wall is peeling off and toile floor trap choke when taking shower. - Mrugakshi (5/5): Passable - Breakfast and location is good. It takes 10 minutes to the airport. The street behind the hotel has many famous shops. It is also close to Han market and dragon bridge. You can get a good view if your room is on higher floor. The room smelled bad when i entered, so i changed the room. The new room’s door did not open with the key. Everytime i had to try like 8-9 times before it opened. Also the same foul smell was there, which i later found out that it’s their A/C. The room wasn’t clean and the bedsheets had black spots on them(stating the bedsheet previously had bedbugs). The hotel is old and needs some renovation.
