Struttura molto bella (anche se la Spa non era usufruibile) ed accogliente. Zona un pò defilata dal centro (ma San Miniato è talmente piccola che in 3 minuti si è sulla piazza principale), personale disponibile ed accogliente. La colazione completa di tutto ed abbondante (a seconda delle esigenze). Inoltre ho apprezzato molto la disponibilità del personale a fornire un sacchetto pranzo per chi, come me, percorre la via Francigena e che lungo la tappa successiva non avrebbe trovato possibilità di ristoro. The hotel let me know via email that the spa facilities would be closed for maintenance during my stay; I would have anticipated some sort of compensation - a glass of wine, a discount on a massage, something to make up for losing the main appeal of the hotel for my journey. My interactions with hotel staff were also a bit disappointing - when the breakfast room was full, they motioned me into a side room and said I could eat there, but there was only seating, no tables. I chose to wait a short time for a table to open up in the dining room. Very odd way of dealing with guests.

I had to carry 18kgs on my back and after 8 hours of walking I was absolutely wrecked. Marieme on reception was a lifesaver! She bought me tea and helped me carry my huge backpack to my room. She was so very kind to me which was amazing! The accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfast delicious. I give a score of 10 because of Marieme's service and kindness.

Attenzione ai dettagli però! - Posizione panoramica, stanza molto scenografica e ben arredata, parcheggio comodo presso la struttura e cortesia del personale. La colazione ottima ed abbondante, ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative. La pulizia della camera era abbastanza soddisfacente, ma in alcuni angoli più nascosti e su alcune suppellettili c'era molta polvere. Non credo fosse una stanza usata molto frequentemente. Il riscaldamento non era regolabile in stanza. Ventola alla massima velocità rumorosissima oppure zero. Ho dovuto disattivare il fan-coil dal quadro elettrico della stanza per poter dormire ed al risveglio era freddo.
